Eyes wide open in utter disbelief, the enforcers, as everyone in the fields calls them, stare at the lady with fear in their eyes, the words from this woman making them feel like they are stuck between a stone and a hard place.
On one hand, there’s the Great Ones, those people they are working for, the ti they dedicated to these people, making them well aware of the temper of so of them, the fact that they might fail to bring this young man back, more likely than not, sothing that spells quite the trouble for them.
On the other hand, there’s this rising star that begins pulling even more attention towards herself lately, what was once known as an extrely beautiful, yet greenhouse flower, now starting to reveal that she has her own thorns as well, thorns that aren’t only sharp, but quite poisonous as well.
"T-this, Lady Liliana, please understand our situatio—" still, refusing to back down as she knows what could befall her and the people behind her, the leader of the enforcers retorted, trying to reason with the vampiric lady in front of her, the heavy, trendous regal air around her making not only this leader of the enforcers, but also the ones following behind her, to feel like sothing is just about to squeeze them into mist of blood.
"The situation calls for no one’s understanding, enforcers. I am neither convinced nor am I obligated to hand this man over just because your superior says so. This is my domain, and in my domain, it is not their rules, but mine, that you should follow"
Feeling offended that this lady in front of her still dares to retort to her words, Liliana smiles as the air around her starts getting heavier by the second, a mixture of sweet iron flooding everyone’s nose, and then their mouth, as they begin feeling like they are drowning in a sea of blood, the seed of fear in every enforcers’ eyes now blooms into a complete fruit of terror, their faces drained of color as they realized that the rumors about this lady far undermines her true prowess.
’S-she’s dangerous...’ all of them thought as their eyes fixated on her, failing to see what was even more baffling beside the overwhelming pressure that was coming out of this lady.
Located just beside Liliana, an immortal-like figure stands straight, unaffected by the suppressive force wrapping around his body, almost as if such pressure, more than enough to press an elite force down the ground, has little, if any effect on him at all.
’She’s learned quite a lot...’ he thought to himself as he shifts his gaze from the enforcers kneeling down the ground towards the lady beside him, her side profile quite the srizing sight for anyone to see, the fair, beautiful face and the cold expression with rays of the sun shining down on her skin, giving an oddly srizing glow to her.
Feeling the gaze seemingly scrutinizing her, the lady couldn’t help but feel shy, prompting her to clear her throat as if to tell the young man sothing, an action that he does notice, but just makes him want to tease her all the more.
Knowing what sort of situation they are in, however, he dismissed those thoughts in his mind, allowing this lady to show off the strength, the prestige that she had been building during the ti he was with her.
"Now, allow this lady to ask you, enforcers, what will you say once you return to your lords in a mont?" allowing the enforcers to stand once more, she asked with a cold smile on her face, the kind of threatening smile that one won’t expect from a lady of nobility like her, the kind of smile that just makes these enforcers feel a chill running down their spine.
"T-That they need to personally get here if they want to get the young man..." the leader of the enforcers repeated with her voice still trembling from the aftermath of the imnse weight previously pushing them down to the ground, a weight created solely from the pressure coming out of Liliana herself.
"If they dare to take what’s mine, not if they want to get him..." the vampiric lady corrected while still holding the cold smile on her face, her words, not to loud, yet firm, was carried by the wind with an unmistakable tone of absolute authority over these enforcers, causing them to feel weak from terror as they truly felt like this might be one of the worst days of their lives.
"Anything else to say?" seeing that they couldn’t even get the opportunity to open their mouths, Liliana starts speaking once again, her voice, now sothing that invokes a primal fear into these enforcers’ mind, sounding like she was right next their ears, a shiver running down their spine prompting them to bow as low as they can before they all shout their agreent in unison.
"Y-yes, Lady Liliana, our apologies for disturbing the peace of your land!" all of them spoke in unison before they imdiately tried to far away from the place as fast as they can, their mind screaming at them to never ss with the lady who just scolded them, as they might just stand in the face of death way earlier than they expected if they continue to do so.
"And you..." watching the enforcers of those ’Great Ones’ finally leaving her land, Liliana then directed her attention at the young man standing just right beside her, her face turning a shade redder before she managed to utter the next words from her mouth.
"Make sure to co to the estate later, we have a lot to talk about!!" she said in a tone that anyone who heard it would think of as a strict, angered tone, yet deep beneath that cold voice, the young man she is talking to, Su Xiaotian, can hear sothing that others cannot.
’She’s definitely embarrassed...’ he thought to himself as he watches sothing coming out of the lady’s back, a night black wings expanding several dozen ters in length, the crimson dust shimring all across the large wings a srizing sight like blood stars filling the night sky, making even this immortal-like young man, witness to sight of beauties beyond even the wildest of dreams, feel slightly srized by the sight.
"Yes, Lady Liliana, thank you for your life saving grace today..." he said with a smile on his face as he bows towards the direction in which the vampire lady flew, his words reaching her ears and making her flight stagger a bit, sothing that unexperienced eyes will never notice, and also sothing that is way too obvious in the young man’s eyes, making him let out a snicker that she heard as well.
’She definitely need so ti to calm down after that, I should finish my work here in the anti...’ he thought to himself before he picked up the tool once again, working on the field as he hum a tune that his mother used to sing for him during his childhood, his actions, his expression and his behavior as if the huge commotion that just happened doesn’t even concern him in the slightest.
