Not including the life he had in the previous tiline, there are only two instances, including this ti, that Su Xiaotian is travelling through a spatial corridor that obscures his senses from anything else around him outside of the pathway he is travelling on.
The first is during his first true experience outside, during his encounters with the Crescent Moon Secret Realm, where he starts comprehending the mysteries and profundities of the spatial rules, which is also the reason why he has the Infinite Dinsion System now.
As for the second one, the one he is experiencing right now, the spatial tunnel doesn’t baffle him as much as his first experience, and yet despite that, he still couldn’t help but marvel at the complexity of the spatial rule, the complexity of the Dao of Space, so much that the thought of staying here just to study how it works even pops within his curious mind.
Of course, he knows that it would be better to do such a thing at a latter occasion where he is free from tasks, as right now, not only do he need to focus more on exploring the Western Continent, he also felt the necessity to take in, learn and absorb their knowledge and find places he can put them to further improve himself.
’There are a lot of things there regarding cultivation and getting stronger that you might find quite interesting, boy’ words of the peculiar, old man that is Lucius, his grandfather-in-law’s friend, pops up his mind as he thought of his objectives for exploring this new, unfamiliar lands, a smile appearing from his face as he wonders just what sort of things he will encounter during his ti there.
----------
Traveling for what felt like a couple of hours already, Su Xiaotian, whose attention was completely at each and every change that the corridor goes into, trying to catch a glimpse of the ever-so-elusive rules of space, was snapped out of his sharpened focus as the semi-transparent, golden floating screen appears right in front of him, bearing notifications that he thought of as anything but normal.
[!!!]
[Detecting a high-level anomaly deed to be dealt with the highest level of urgency]
[Previous experiences deed the second administrator is no longer within the system, directing the situation to the First Administrator... Task complete... Artificial Intelligence is now temporarily shutting down to give way for the First Administrator.]
As he read through the notifications, the immortal-like young man couldn’t help but wonder what it was that made the system suddenly act out like so, only for him to know the reason, the urgent situation, directly from his own self from the previous tiline.
[I got the gist of the situation... You’re in for quite the trouble...]
Waking up once again probably just after he fell into a deep sleep, the Su Xiaotian of the destroyed tiline doesn’t appear in front of the immortal-like young man, but instead, talks through the system screen that only he and the people he allows to can see, making the younger Su Xiaotian wonder what is it that made such once powerful being this wary.
’Is there any problem with the Western Continent?’ matching his older self’s tone as he thought that the danger might be closer to them that he might expect, the younger Su Xiaotian asks with quite the worry in his voice, his senses already expanding around, as well as beyond the spatial corridor in an attempt to search for what possibly alarms his older, once more powerful self that much.
[It’s not the Western Continent, in fact, I doubt there’s anyone born there that can be a threat to us, to you]
’So an outsider?’ reading the words in the floating gold screen, the younger Su Xiaotian imdiately thought of sothing, imdiately thinking of the fact that if there are outsiders like the Dongfang duo and all subjects of their kingdoms that descends to the Eastern Continent, then there’s no reason for the sa group of people not to take their ti to visit the Western Continent as well.
[Worse, a Divine-level being, and an extrely powerful one at that...]
The mont that he read through the information given by his older self, the immortal-like young man couldn’t help but have his eyes widened in disbelief, his hand now clenched into a fist as he felt like this might truly be sothing quite problematic for him.
’They’re one of those dangerous ones that you once told about, aren’t they?’ he asks with a tinge of nervousness in his voice, knowing that despite his absurd, near, if not outright impossible combat power, he knows that he still doesn’t stand any chance against stronger Celestial-level beings, not to ntion existence that goes beyond that.
[They are at that level, yes, but no need to worry too much, though, because while their True Conscious is in their body right now, the body is at most, at the Earth Celestial Realm, not to ntion the realm you’re living in is quite special, so there’s no way for them to descend with their actual body. aning there’s still a fighting chance against them right now, though I would prefer you not have anything to do with them for now]
The older Su Xiaotian expresses his opinion, a tone of worry apparent despite him rely sharing his thoughts through the Universal Shop System’s screen, his words causing a wry smile to appear on his younger self’s face as he replies.
’Well, that’s a little bit more assuring then’ the younger Su Xiaotian replies as he decides to continue on the plan to explore the Western Continent, only now, taking note that he should be especially careful when encountering people that he thinks might be dangerous.
[There’s one massive problem...]
Reading the new ssage delivered by the golden screen, the immortal-like young man couldn’t help but frown as he felt like this might be the reason as to why his version from the previous tiline took it upon himself to wake up and remind him of the dangers in the Western Continent, and his feelings, his predictions, are spot on, as he heard one of the most problematic news ever since he started his life in this world.
[Those beings are extrely powerful, yes, they are mighty and all, but what is the most terrifying is their perception; more likely than not, they might be able to detect the existence of this system should you use it close enough around them, so I plan on forcing the main system into a cold hibernation for now]
’I see... well, nothing much I can do about that, right?’ the immortal-like young man asked the semi-transparent, floating golden screen with a wry smile on his face, his question t with an answer that has a little bit of consolation to it.
[Don’t worry, the sub-systems will work as normal; it’s only the main system that I intend to restrict during your ti on the Western Continent]
As he read through those words, Su Xiaotian then felt a little bit more relieved than before, prompting him to nod at the suggestion of his older self, the two of them agreeing that the main system would hide itself the mont they took their first step on the Western Continent.
