With a gentle force, Myne pushed open the three-ter-tall giant door in front of the cave, which was the entrance to the newly born dungeon. What greeted them was a familiar-looking cave, with colourful crystals on the ceiling illuminating the long, narrow path leading to the depths of the first floor.

"Why do all dungeons have a similar layout? There's no creativity in it at all; they all feel like copy-paste," Myne complained, shaking his head as he walked into the dungeon.

"Huh? Myne, can you feel it? There's sothing wrong here," Waffle, who was casually flying in the middle, spoke with a frown on his cute face.

"What's wrong?" Myne asked casually, a bored look on his face. After Sylphy had played a prank on him, he wasn't in the mood to take anything seriously.

"I can't feel any mana here, which is completely different from other dungeons we've visited before. They were overflowing with mana, but here it's as if we've co to a place without a slight bit of mana," Waffle answered seriously.

"Maybe the dungeon used up all its mana when it was born and is in a recovery period. There's no need to worry about such useless things," Myne casually waved his hand, not taking such a minor thing seriously. "Anyway, if this dungeon doesn't have mana, this ans the monsters in it can't be too powerful either, since they need a huge amount of mana to evolve."

"Wait a minute! Wait just a second, Myne, if Waffle didn't sense any mana... then that can only an that there are no demons or monsters inside the dungeon! However..."

Aisha asked a question, but she stopped halfway because everyone already knew the rest of the sentence.

If there were no demons/monsters inside this dungeon, then they wouldn't be here in the first place. When King Faren sent the Royal Knights here to investigate this dungeon, they confird that there were indeed monsters inside.

"This dungeon is getting even more mysterious. We must really prepare ourselves," Aisha said with a frown.

"Yeah, Father did say that there were Slis and other monsters living inside, so there's no doubt that demons can also be inside. We can't feel any mana, but we don't know the abnormalities of this dungeon, and the knights that ca here to investigate didn't end well... So we must be more cautious. God knows what this dungeon is hiding," Sylphy also followed Aisha's lead and advised seriously.

"Are you guys for real? Since no one found anything abnormal here, couldn't it be a normal low-level dungeon without anything abnormal at all?" Myne looked at his two wives, who were making a mountain out of a molehill, with a speechless look.

As they continued moving forward, Aisha and Sylphy continued talking nonsense, and soon they finally encountered their first monster: two white slis.

Without Myne giving the order, Aisha and Sylphy had already taken out their weapons. Both of them, like excited children, chose one each to warm up and rushed forward to kill them.

Aisha, while moving, tightened her grip over her long bow and shot two arrows at the small, basketball-sized white sli.

Sylphy, on the other hand, seed to want to go all out from the beginning, not caring whether it was no different than killing an ant with a rocket launcher. Her body slowly glowed in red as she used her skills One-handed Sword ( Large ) and Body Enhancent ( Large ).

After coming close to the sli, she hit the top of its round body as hard as she could, wanting to make it explode like a water balloon.

But the next mont, sothing happened that made everyone open their eyes wide with disbelief.

Sylphy's sure-kill attack, after landing on the sli, was as if it hit the world's hardest substance. It didn't cause any harm to the sli; it didn't even make its watery body tremble. Instead, with a click sound, Sylphy's favourite sword shattered into pieces like a mirror.

Not only Sylphy's, but Aisha's arrows also shattered into pieces after touching the sli's body.

"What the hell!"

These words were the only thing everyone could think at this mont. They couldn't understand how those low-level monsters could be so strong, to the point that their weapons broke apart but they didn't receive a single point of damage.

"What's happening? Myne, is there anything wrong with those two slis?" Sylphy asked with a shocked expression still plastered on her face as she looked at her broken sword.

"I don't think so. Their status is completely normal. They don't have any weird skill or ability that can give them this kind of solid defence," Myne again used his ability on these two slis, and just like last ti, they indeed didn't have any abnormal power that could make them hard like a diamond.

"Unless they also possess sothing that does not belong to this world and can bypass my appraisal skill, or they are so kind of weird otherworldly creature transford into those slis, there is no other explanation behind their strange defence."

Myne frowned, watching the sli begin to look furious after being attacked. A part of its body changed into a whip-like shape and whipped violently at Sylphy.

She was already prepared for this, easily avoided it, and threw her broken sword at the sli. Again, the sword hit the sli without causing any damage before falling to the ground.

"They don't look like strange monsters; at least, their body structure is exactly the sa as a sli... Oh, wait, could it be... They have racial skills?"

Just as Myne was racking his brain to understand the source behind the weirdness of the two slis, a red-skinned goblin face suddenly appeared in his mind, who could swim in the lava as if he were in the water, and everything instantly beca clear to him.

"So this is it, they have a race skill. Damn it, my appraisal skill is still not powerful enough to see that."

Sighing helplessly, Myne quickly explained to everyone why the two slis had such a crazy level of defence. He asked them to continue attacking to see what kind of skill it was and what its limit was.

"Anyway, I don't believe those two slis are invincible."

Just as Myne ordered, Ted hit one of the slis with his laser eye skill, and like a balloon, that sli exploded, leaving everyone speechless.

"I think their weakness is magic attack," Myne said, coming back from his shock. He stopped Waffle, who wanted to deal with the second sli and ordered.

"Sylphy, continue hitting the second one with a weapon. I want to see how many physical attacks it can stop."

Sylphy nodded while taking out a random sword from her storage pouch. While avoiding the sli's whip attack, she slashed its round head a few more tis. When the sixth attack landed, the sli made crying noises before dying.

"I understand. They seem to have so kind of racial skill similar to the Physical Damage Nullifier, but it can only stop a limited number of attacks within a certain amount of ti. If I'm not wrong, then it should be around five or six, after which this skill would enter a cooldown period."

"Also, this skill can't stop magical attacks, which is a big drawback, but for normal people who don't have magic skills, those slis can indeed create a lot of trouble if they co out from the dungeon," Myne shared his thoughts after everyone gathered.

"This dungeon is really weird. I have never heard about this kind of sli," Aisha said with a frown. She had worked as an adventurer and been a receptionist in an adventurer's guild for years; she had heard and seen all kinds of bizarre information and monsters. This was the first ti she saw sli possessing this kind of power.

"Forget it, let's move forward. When we reach the end, all secrets will automatically clear." Shaking his head, Myne continued leading everyone toward the boss room deep into the first floor, and soon they saw another group of white slis.

This ti, except for one, which was left behind as experintal material, Waffle alone dealt with the remaining four in three seconds. Nᴇw ɴovel chaptᴇrs are published on N0velFire.ɴet

"As I expected, their racial skill can only nullify five physical damages before losing their advantage and becoming normal slis," Myne said with an understanding look, and then they continued exploring the dungeon.

Although the dungeon looked small from the outside and was newly born, none of them expected that it would be a huge, underground maze-like map from the inside. Every once in a while, they encountered multiple cave entrances, leading them to different paths, and inside each path, there were more cave entrances.

Because of this, despite walking for hours, they didn't reach the boss room. Instead, they were like headless flies wandering inside the caves with seemingly no end. If not for the fact that Myne's skills were working fine and they could go back ho whenever they wanted, they might have already been frightened just thinking about how they would go back.

Also, the advantage of the dungeon being newly born appeared for Myne and others: there were no other monsters on the first floor of the dungeon except those white slis. This made their journey very simple, and they could put all their effort into exploring the dungeon and looking for the boss room instead of dealing with wave after wave of monsters on every turn.
