One month later (Earth ti) — Moon God's Palace
After spending another night with Tsukuyomi, Veyron strolled leisurely out of the side hall.
Yup, in the end, Tsukuyomi joined Eirin. She didn't pretend to be asleep anymore. And two weeks after that, they began having solo sessions.
Nestled at the very heart of the Lunar Capital, this residence was originally built back when Tsukuyomi was still a proper deity. From the size of the estate to the grandeur of its design, it was all worthy of soone holding the title of Moon God.
Even though, for the longest ti, she was the only one living in it.
So when the Moon War ended and Tsukuyomi fell into a coma from having her concept and divine status forcibly stripped away, and was later revived thanks to the combined efforts of Veyron and Eirin Yagokoro…
Kaguya Houraisan, now occupying the main hall, waved her tiny hand generously and assigned Tsukuyomi a room—well, not exactly next to the main hall, but off to the side hall.
For soone who used to be the "Lord of the Moon and the Lunar Capital," that was good enough.
Besides, the entire Moon Capital had maybe five people, tops, who were actually allowed to enter the Moon God's Palace. Including Veyron, who only half-counted as an outsider.
And since the entire palace was covered in the concept of "eternity," there was no such thing as the place falling into disrepair or becoming uninhabitable with ti.

"Checking on her this early?"
Just a few steps out, a pair of girls—one blonde, one with purple hair—walked toward him. Veyron greeted them with a relaxed, cheerful smile.
"Yup! Morning, Uncle~"
"Good morning, Uncle."
Watatsuki no Toyohi smiled back, while her sister, Watatsuki no Yorihi, nodded politely and respectfully.
After getting thoroughly humiliated a few tis by Kaguya, she had acknowledged the Watatsuki sisters' continued status as Lunar Princesses.
So naturally, the girls had started calling Veyron "Uncle."
After exchanging greetings, the sisters watched Veyron disappear around a corner before quickly picking up the pace and heading straight for Tsukuyomi's room.
The mont they entered, both of them froze—
Sprawled ssily across the tatami mats with the blanket in disarray, Tsukuyomi lay there looking like she'd just been dragged through a storm. Her body was a ss, her clothes disheveled, and she was staring blankly up at the ceiling.
When she heard their footsteps approach, she turned her head slightly and muttered, "I can't do it alone anymore. I want Eirin to help."
Yorihi's face went pale, then flushed red. She opened her mouth but couldn't get the words out.
"Ahem... You two really shouldn't have shown up this early," Tsukuyomi sighed.
Grabbing a nearby pillow and tucking it behind her, she sat up with so effort.
She had already suspected soone was coming when Veyron suddenly picked up the pace earlier. But when he used the ti-stop watch—freezing everything except himself—and moved inside her, all the sensations hit her at once the mont ti resud. It was like blacking out.
"We just figured… if he can sense when we're getting close, then if we ca earlier, he'd leave earlier… from your place," Toyohi explained.
In truth, if their request to stay over hadn't been flat-out rejected by Kaguya with a sarcastic "What, you wanna peep?", the sisters were fully prepared to camp out right outside Tsukuyomi's room.
Tsukuyomi: "…"
But I don't want him to leave early.
After a mont of silence, she waved the sisters over.
They obediently walked up and sat beside her.
"I've got a question. I want an honest answer," Tsukuyomi said.
"In the plans I laid out for you two… even if you wouldn't end up as complete puppets like Kaguya, once everything starts moving, the sacrifices you'll have to make aren't exactly small. So tell —do you hold any resentnt toward , the way Kaguya does?"
"We'd never—"
"I said honest."
"...Maybe a little?" Toyohi exchanged a glance with Yorihi and spoke for them both. "But still… wasn't that the reason we were created in the first place?"
"...Sigh."
Tsukuyomi let out a soft breath, then wiped a cream-like substance off her body with her fingers and held it out to them. "Here. Taste it."
"..." ×2
"Relax, it's good."
"..." ×2
The Watatsuki sisters knew it wasn't harmful. But knowing that didn't an they could just put it in their mouths without hesitation.
For over ten full breaths, they stared at the liquid on her fingertips. It was Toyohi who finally clenched her teeth, ready to take the plunge—only for Yorihi to beat her to it, swiftly leaning forward and gently taking Tsukuyomi's finger into her mouth.
A second later—
Her eyes flew wide open in shock.
"You should try it too," Tsukuyomi said calmly.
She repeated the motion with her left index finger, guiding it to Toyohi's lips.
Half a minute passed.
When they finally let go of her fingers, the Watatsuki sisters sat frozen in place, utterly stunned—like their entire worldview had just been flipped upside down.
"So… you're saying… you're okay with this?" Toyohi asked, her voice drifting, still half in disbelief.
"If I wasn't, would I be offering it to you so casually?" Tsukuyomi replied, nodding with perfect composure.
Sure, it had all started with Eirin Yagokoro getting a little revenge on her… but in hindsight? She had to admit—no one in this world knew her better than that old friend.
"..." ×2
Faced with undeniable proof, the sisters found their gazes unconsciously drifting toward the other traces of that divine liquid still glistening on Tsukuyomi's skin.
Well… we already tasted it. What's a little more?
"Don't even think about it," Tsukuyomi cut in, catching their expressions instantly.
Since there was no real difference between ingesting it and absorbing it through the skin, she had originally planned to just let it soak in naturally. But now…
With a wave of her hand, she cast a cleansing light over herself, quickly absorbing the rest of the golden sen before the two could even blink.
A few swallows later, she spoke again—calmly, but with a hint of finality.
"If you want more… then you'll have to earn it yourselves."
