They were already open, and on the inside of each lid was a reference image and info sheet for a corresponding Devil Fruit.
"Pick one you like," Veyron gestured casually.

In canon, it didn't live up to its potential, but make no mistake—this fruit has a sky-high ceiling. After all, electromagnetism is one of the four fundantal forces of nature.
Sure, relying only on the Devil Fruit's base power would cap her at sothing like an Admiral-tier in the One Piece world.
But hand it to soone like Saya—a genius girl even before the zombie outbreak? And pair it with a Level 4 Gene Lock's micro-control, fully tapped genetic potential, and the kind of computation power that rivals a supercomputer?

As for Rika, she picked the Paracia-Type – Arms-Arms Fruit, once eaten by Baby 5 in the original tiline.
It allows the user to turn any part of their body into a weapon.
Like Saya's fruit, the ceiling of this one depends heavily on the user's imagination and understanding.
In Baby 5's case, her transformation stopped at swords, handguns, and the occasional missile—because that's all her world experience allowed her to envision.
But Rika? A military-trained, 21st-century sniper with real-world combat knowledge?
Let's just say... so fanfics were right about this fruit's potential.
"It has so serious potential," Veyron murmured with a smirk. He gave a silent thumbs-up, clearly impressed by Rika's creative use of her Devil Fruit powers.
In her right hand, she held the FOAB. In her left—the MOAB.
The Father and Mother of All Bombs. One made by Russia, the other by the U.S.—as if the two superpowers were in a twisted contest to see who could end the world faster.

And with that, the riding ceremony began...

"Hmph," Saya grumbled, lightly grinding her teeth in annoyance as she noticed her fruit seed a bit lacking in flashiness by comparison.
"Wait... the Magnet-Magnet Fruit? Electromagnetic waves?"
"Can't I make it tighter?"

"The Magnet-Magnet Fruit?"
Takagi Yuriko, now a full-fledged vampire thanks to the Bat-Bat Fruit (Mythical Zoan: Vampire Form) from the ga One Piece: Unlimited World Red, casually nibbled on a stick of at jerky as she spoke between bites.
"Not exactly what I expected... but honestly, it's a very Saya choice."
Veyron glanced over. "What did you think she'd pick?"
"Hmm... I figured she'd go with a Logia. Or maybe a Mythical Zoan with more versatility," Yuriko mused, licking the last of the seasoning from her fingers.
"Sothing like that Rumble-Rumble Fruit you showed us, or that artificial Azure Dragon Fruit—the one that turns the user into a giant pink dragon... But I get it. The Magnet-Magnet Fruit actually has insane potential."
"Like you said, it might even surpass a lot of Logias or Mythical Zoans in the long run."
As she finished her snack and spotted the glowing door forming near Veyron's hand, Yuriko raised a brow.
"Space gate? You going to visit Saya just after ?"
"Nah~ Rika," he replied.

Back in the office, when Rika had seen the Op-Op Fruit (Ope Ope no Mi)—a Devil Fruit worth fifty billion berries in the One Piece world—she'd instantly thought of her bestie, Shizuka Marikawa.
She knew why she and the others—Saeko, Saya, and Yuriko—were given the VIP treatnt: access to Level 4 gene locks, high-end Devil Fruits, the whole deal.
And she also knew why people like Shizuka and the remaining five survivors weren't granted the sa privileges.
So, to close that gap, Rika took the initiative. And she knew Veyron was interested in Shizuka.
She invited Veyron to spend the night in her room—leaving the door slightly ajar, no soundproofing, no pretense.
If Shizuka heard what was happening and chose to walk through that door…Well, what happened next would be entirely up to her.
