If the Fujiwara clan could still keep their cool—thanks to their three daughters being acquainted with Veyron...
Then other families were already itching to take action.

{Heard a lot about your skills. Ever thought about switching jobs?}
"That's what they said to ."
As his secretary gave her report, Veyron raised an eyebrow.
"Didn't you just graduate and spend all your ti trading stocks at ho under an anonymous account before I hired you? Where's this 'heard a lot' coming from?"
The secretary paused for a mont, then answered seriously: "Maybe they've just heard how lucky I was to get chosen by you."
She wasn't wrong.
"Sooo~ A salary ten tis higher than your current one—and still rising with the industry's top standards. Houses, cars, and more...."
Veyron clicked his tongue.
"I gotta admit, that's a pretty sweet offer. What do they want you to do—steal a copy of our martial arts training on the way out?"
"They wouldn't dare," she said, shaking her head. "They said they're offering purely out of admiration for my abilities. But… if my departure causes issues for the school, it might look like their good intentions backfired. So they hope I'll recomnd a few 'replacents' before I leave."
She handed over a list.
"I already looked at their profiles."
"Two of them were my seniors—I studied their materials when I was in school. They're more qualified than . Two others are prettier. Two have slightly better figures. And two… well, they've got longer legs."
"No one checks all the boxes? Smarter than you, better-looking, and bigger in so spots?"
Veyron rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"Maybe they were worried I'd get offended if they did send soone like that," the secretary replied. "Though it's also possible soone like that might slip into the school later… through their referrals."
"What about you? What do you want?"
"Obviously, I'd prefer to stay and keep working by your side," she said without hesitation.
A raise, a house, a car? Co on. All that stuff still couldn't compare to working around the extraordinary.
"Then turn them all down," Veyron said, waving it off. "Let it go this ti. But next ti soone tries this, dig into their background—who they're connected to, what their real motives are. Anyone involved? Blacklist them. All of them."
"Understood."
The secretary nodded, ending the report.

"Honestly, I thought Father would at least keep a few of those secretaries around."
At Eientei, Kaguya Houraisan covered her mouth with a giggle as Veyron told her the story.
"Especially the ones with those nice, big boobs..."
"Alright, first off," Veyron said seriously, "let's get sothing straight. I'm not just into boobs. I like beauty in all its forms. It's just that gorgeous won tend to co with big boobs. Coincidence."
"Mmhmm." Kaguya nodded with mock solemnity. "You're absolutely right. My bad. And second?"
"Second? Is that how you see now? So pervy guy who's got nothing on his mind but hot girls?"
Veyron looked at her, genuinely speechless.
"Heh."
Kaguya gave him a sly, tight-lipped smirk.
Honestly? If he hadn't followed that up with that nonsense just now, she might've actually believed his argunt.
"Ahem—Look, it's been a while since we last t. I missed you, alright? Longing. You get it?"
"Please don't ruin a perfectly good word like that," Kaguya muttered, rolling her eyes.
Thanks to him, she was pretty sure that for the next three months—at least—every ti she heard the word longing, her brain was going to take it in entirely the wrong direction.
---
The next morning, bright and early—
Veyron casually slipped into the pocket dinsion and opened the room where Eirin Yagokoro kept her stash of almighty supplents.
Almighty? It's just to avoid saying that word.
"Already running low again, huh…"
He looked at the near-empty vials, then turned and slipped his arms around the waist of the silver-haired beauty working nearby.
"Hold on a second."
Eirin's hands paused mid-mix as she nudged him in the chest with her elbow—lightly, but precisely.
"Hm?"
Feeling the subtle power in that nudge, Veyron raised an eyebrow.
"Wow!"
"Kaguya's been using 'Eternity and the Instant' on herself now and then to speed up her training... yet sohow you're the one who hit Gene Lock Tier Four first? Eirin, you are so amazing."
The strength behind her little push wasn't much, but the control—the finesse—was unmistakable.
Eirin calmly nodded.
"I made a few potions to help unlock my gene lock."
"Main ingredient: 'T-virus'. Supporting agent: your almighty supplent."
"...That works?"
"Didn't think it would at first, honestly," Eirin admitted. "But turns out… what I thought would take much longer—reaching Tier Four—ended up happening not long after I used those potions."
Veyron stood there, silent for a mont.
Honestly? It sounded kind of crazy.
But maybe it wasn't so far-fetched after all.
Kind of like how the T-virus could help soone unlock Tier One.
In the Terror Infinity Universe logic, anything up to early Tier Four could be pushed forward with the help of external items—as long as there were no side effects.
And that's under the "no side effects" clause.
If soone didn't care about consequences or future stagnation, there were even higher beings who could brute-force unlock the mid levels of Tier Four—triggering Light of the Soul.
And now the Gene Lock system didn't even require the person to fully self-identify as human—just for soone to vaguely think they counted as "human enough"...
So T-Virus and almighty supplent could unlock Gene Locks didn't sound that crazy anymore.
"Before this, your progress was about the sa as Kaguya's—Tier Three with Total body control, right?"
Veyron's eyes lit up with curiosity.
"How much of that supplent does it take to help soone reach early Tier Four like this?"
"That... is exactly what I wanted to talk to you about next."
Eirin set down the beaker in her hands and turned to face him fully. Her calm, clear eyes locked onto his.
"After hitting Tier Four, I discovered sothing through fine muscle control—if the energy flow is sufficient, I can regenerate my hair, my blood, anything really… infinitely. Which ans…"
She gave him a look.
"Your body should be able to do the sa, right?"
Before Tier Four, she let it slide. But now? After reaching this level?
Every ti she needed a sample from him—Ahem... yeah sen—it was the natural way.
"I see..."
Veyron quietly shifted his gaze upward to the ceiling.
"Huh. Would you look at that… what an amazing ceiling design…"
Best ceiling ever.
