Late at night.
The Zuo Family mansion was a hive of activity, with lights blazing throughout the estate and security guards coming and going constantly.
An elderly man with snowy white hair sat in a wheelchair, his expression somber as he gazed out into the inky darkness of the night.
As soon as the steward, Qian Cheng, had finished taking care of things, he imdiately ca to report to Old Zuo: "Old Zuo, I've looked into it."
Without turning his head, Old Zuo gave a cold laugh. "Was it those remnants of Yan Ajiu's gang?"
Qian Cheng kept his head lowered deferentially as he replied, "Just a regular assault case, rely so petty thugs paid to do a job."
Old Zuo's eyes flickered upwards imperiously. "Petty thugs?"
Qian Cheng didn't dare et his gaze directly. Even more deferentially he continued, "They really were just so petty thugs! Their target wasn't Young Master, it was another female student. They went after Young Master only because they saw his expensive watch..."
Old Zuo uttered two words: "Investigate again."
"Yes sir!" Qian Cheng responded.
Old Zuo lifted a hand, pointing at the people rushing around outside the window downstairs. "What are all those people doing down there again so late at night?"
Qian Cheng imdiately answered, "Young Master said he wanted to eat hot pot, so people are preparing."
Old Zuo: "What nonsense is this? Eating hot pot?"
Qian Cheng suppressed a smile and nodded. "It's absolutely true."
Old Zuo cursed angrily, "Has his brain gone soft?"
Qian Cheng wiped the smile off his face instantly and replied, "He invited a female classmate over to eat hot pot at ho."
Old Zuo: "Hmm...how unusual!"
Qian Cheng secretly glanced at Old Zuo's expression, sensing his improved mood, and added: "It's the female classmate who saved Young Master."
Old Zuo: "In the middle of the night, utter madness!"
Although his words complained, Qian Cheng knew Old Zuo was actually in a pretty good mood right now, so he went on talking a bit more: "That female classmate is quite beautiful, and also rather special - it seems she knows so martial arts."
"Oh? Now that's a bit interesting." Old Zuo was about to ask more when the convoy returned in front of the Zuo family's main building.
Wei Shixu got out of the car alone, without any female classmate.
-----------------
When Quan Zhisui returned to the Zuo residence, it was 11pm and no one else was ho.
First she went upstairs, threw her bloodstained school uniform in the laundry hamper, put down her schoolbag, then went back downstairs to get so food.
While serving up the late night al, Gu Lan also passed along so information: "The Master and Madam are at a dinner banquet with drinks tonight, they'll probably be back around dawn. The Old Master and Old Madam went to the hot springs resort next door, they won't be back today."
Those who worked in wealthy households needed so perceptiveness - whether useful or not, Gu Lan would update the young miss with any news she had.
She could see clearly that this young miss could upend the skies over the Zuo household - she was an existence they absolutely could not afford to provoke. And the young miss never made things difficult for them workers anyway.
Getting on her good side early was definitely the right move!
Quan Zhisui nodded to show she understood, then quietly focused on her al.
With no one else ho at the Zuo residence tonight, if she beat Zuo Zichen to death here, who would even know?
How convenient!
After the young miss finished her late night snack, Gu Lan began humming a little ditty as she stepped forward to clear the table, in high spirits.
But before she could even clear half the table...
Boom!
Boom boom boom!
Enormous crashing sounds ca from the second floor, the ceiling shaking - Gu Lan was so startled she nearly dropped the plates!
Since her first kick didn't break down the double doors, Quan Zhisui took a few steps back to adjust her stance before sprinting forward and delivering a flying kick.
With no elders ho anyway, she kicked wildly and unreservedly!
Zuo Zichen had not left his room after returning ho, hiding in front of his computer playing gas. A broken arm wouldn't affect his gaming one bit.
He wore noise-cancelling headphones worth 20,000 yuan - the sound insulation was superb, he couldn't hear any kicking sounds at all.
But then...why was his room shaking?
Zuo Zichen had just taken off his headphones and stood up.
Crash—
The door caved in!
The ceiling and so decorative wood paneling ca crashing down onto the marble floor, looking like a pile of rubble.
Zuo Zichen just stood there, stunned as he watched Quan Zhisui kick down the door with a terrifying air and charge over to grab his hair.
It felt like his scalp was being ripped off!
"Ahhhhh!"
He began screaming belatedly.
Quan Zhisui ignored his screams, keeping her grip rcilessly tight as she dragged him out of the room. She even took the chance to observe Zuo Zichen's quarters.
Hmph!
As expected of the precious son of Zuo Zhiyu and Xu Zhiyi, the precious grandson of Zuo Zhaoyuan and Zhang Liufang.
Zuo Zichen's suite was even bigger than her entire suite!
Top of the line gaming chair, gaming desk and computer, a 100-inch luxury TV, there was even a small tea corner - even the sofa was real leather.
Most critically, Zuo Zichen's rooms were situated in the literary star position of the entire second floor.
He actually played gas here?
Truly a waste of excellent fengshui!
Quan Zhisui was already furious to begin with, and seeing this difference in treatnt made her rage boil over completely.
So she went wild, losing all self-control!
The mansion's employees ca running out when they heard the commotion, but didn't dare get too close, much less try to dissuade her. They just gathered at the top of the stairs watching from afar.
Ma Xinwei and Gu Lan had already been in the kitchen and side hall, so they arrived fastest. Zhao Lin had already gone to bed, but when he heard the young miss was beating up the young master, he shot out of bed like a carp flipping over and rushed out to see.
And this was the scene they saw - Quan Zhisui dragging Zuo Zichen by the hair, hauling him out of the room, dragging him along all the way.
"Ahhhh! Ahhhhhh!"
Zuo Zichen scread deafeningly, face contorted.
Quan Zhisui ignored his screams, grip unyieldingly tight, expression tranquil.
She dragged him up the stairs, Zuo Zichen's body sliding up each step with loud banging sounds.
Quan Zhisui hauled him to the third floor, then continued upwards to the fourth floor.
Zuo Zichen scread nonstop for help the entire ti.
On the fourth floor was an elegantly constructed tea room and reception hall, with a large terrace and lovely view.
The employees hurriedly followed them up to the fourth floor, still not daring to get close. They didn't know what Quan Zhisui intended to do either, but knew the young miss was in a berserk state right now - anyone who tried to stop her would die!
Quan Zhisui dragged Zuo Zichen onto the terrace, then further, right to the terrace edge.
Now not just Zuo Zichen, even the employees were scared to death!
What was she trying to do?
Was she really going to push Zuo Zichen off the fourth floor?!
That was exactly what Quan Zhisui did.
She directly hefted Zuo Zichen up and flung him onto the terrace balustrade like a sack of rice, pressing his head down so he had a clear view of the ground far below.
The Zuo family's fourth floor was very high, the ceiling height of each level in the luxury mansion was taller than regular housing. Not to ntion, status-conscious Zuo Zhiyu had bought a top tier luxury ho.
Falling from this height of nearly twenty ters would definitely kill you.
Left Zuo Zichen scared out of his wits!
"Ahhhh! Ahhhhhh! Help!"
He scread until his voice went hoarse.
Right now, his upper body was dangling over the balustrade, head upside down with only his legs still inside. But his legs couldn't reach the floor either, since the terrace balustrade was 1.6 ters tall while his legs weren't that long!
The fear of hanging in midair at such a height completely shattered Zuo Zichen's mind!
"Was it you who sent people to attack ?" Quan Zhisui asked this question calmly, despite her terrifying actions.
Her composure ford a stark contrast against the hysterical screaming Zuo Zichen.
