Chapter 139: My Love for You
"Ellie, don’t go."
I ignored Aziel’s voice and went with Night. "Wait, are we going to jump from here?" I asked with my eyes wide open after seeing that Night plans to get out through the window again.

into his arm and he made himself fall on his back causing
to scream at the top of my lungs.
’Is he actually crazy!? He’s holding onto
while falling on his back! He’ll break his back!’ I thought with my eyes shut close as I hold onto Night’s arm. We’re going to die!
When I felt our impact on the ground, we bounced back into the air making
open my eyes. "Were you that scared?" I looked at Night and I saw a smile on his face. ’W-What just happened?’
"Milady! I’m so glad you’re safe." Kaoru said as he rushed towards . That’s when I realized that there was a huge cushion on the floor. Night got up and he pulled
up with him. Where did they even get this thing?
"There’s no ti for greetings. Let’s go." He said while holding my hand.
The intense wind slapped us but Night continued walking towards the shore making my forehead crease while I use my other arm to protect my eyes from the rain and the wind.
"Why are we going to the sea? It’s dangerous with this kind of weather!" I said aloud since I don’t think we’ll be able to hear each other if I don’t scream.
"Don’t worry." Night said.
Which reminds ... "Wait! The ring! We need to go back to get the ring!" I scread but Night couldn’t hear
when the wind blew at us too strongly almost making
drift away in the air if it wasn’t for Night holding my hand.
"The ring..."
Do I really have to go back for the ring? Why? Why do I want to go back for that ring? Is it because it was gifted to
by my father? But it belongs to Aziel, and he finally has it now.
’I guess that’s it. I’ll just apologize to Night and grandpa Kenta for failing to protect my own things.’ I thought as I ran behind Night towards the sea. I’m not sure what he’s planning to do, but I have decided to fully trust him.
"Waka!" I heard a familiar voice near the sea. There I saw Kenji who was massaging his temples. "Please get inside before their reinforcent chase after us." He said.
Get in? Where?
I squinted to see what was behind Kenji and my eyes quickly widened. "A-A submarine!?" I couldn’t believe my eyes as I stared at it while standing still.
"We need to go now, milady."
I felt Night’s hand holding mine as he gently pulled
to the submarine and we went inside causing
to roam my vision as this is the first ti I ever rode a submarine.
"You shouldn’t act recklessly like you just did." I heard Kenji scolding Night the mont we got inside the submarine.
"What will you do if you got caught by Aziel’s n? It would have been harder for us to move if the lady and the young master got caught, wouldn’t it?" Kenji said but Night ignored him and continued walking while I follow the two of them from behind.
"The plan was to sneak in and get the lady back, but instead, as soon as we arrived you went running out of the submarine and broke into the lady’s room. Why do you think we even used this submarine? It’s to escape as soon as possible! Are you listening?"
I saw how Night scratched his ear as he turned back to us. "Stop nagging . What’s done is done, get over it."
Kenji balled his fist, it looks like he was really pissed off. ’Who wouldn’t if your plan got destroyed in an instance?’ He then sighed as if he gave up.
"Noelle should go and take a bath before you—"
Night didn’t continue what he was saying as he strutted towards
and imdiately placed both of his hands on my face.
"What happened to your cheek?" He said with his eyes wide open. "Who the hell did this?"
’Oh! The bruise that Aziel caused after slapping .’
It’ll create more trouble if Night learned of what actually happened. "It’s nothing. I just bumped into the table because of the darkness." I lied.
"I’ll go back and ask Aziel if you won’t answer honestly." He said causing
to imdiately grab onto his arm. "What? Are you willing to tell the truth now?"
How did he know I’m lying!? I an, what I said was possible because I’m clumsy! "I-I’m fine, it didn’t hurt that much."
"Didn’t hurt?"
I flinched after seeing Night’s bloodlust and I felt fear of what was about to co if he t Aziel at this mont. "I-It was my fault why he slapped . That’s why we should just let it go."
"How could that be, milady? It was Aziel’s fault since the very beginning as he kidnapped the lady." Kenji said.
’Is he trying to pour oil into the fire?’ I sighed.
"But just like what the lady said, we cannot face Aziel in this foreign land as we don’t know how many people he has in this place. We must go back to the mansion as soon as possible." I thought Kenji will surely let Night do whatever he wants, but I guess it’ll be troubleso for him too if Night wreaks havoc again.
Night didn’t say anything.
"The lady and the young master should probably take a bath now. You’re both soaking wet."
Kaoru led
to the bathroom. ’It’s the first ti I saw a bathtub in a submarine because this is the first ti I ride a submarine.’ I thought as I bathed leisurely.
Night didn’t tell
anything about how long I should bathe so I decided to gather my thoughts and explain what truly happen and why I got this bruise. That might not ease his anger towards Aziel, but that should at least calm him down.
’Although he’ll probably get angrier when he hears about it from my mouth.’
When I got out of the bathroom, I noticed that Night was sitting on the bed. ’This submarine is humongous and so does this bedroom.’ I thought as I walked towards the bed.
Night looks like he had just finished his bath and he’s topless with only a towel over his shoulder. He’s looking at so papers I’m not familiar with. It must be related to the Yamaguchi-gumi’s business.
"Night."
I called his na but he won’t even look at .
"Tell Kaoru to bring the ice pack in." He said without looking at .
"Are you mad at ?" I asked, but he didn’t answer.
Just when I thought I could finally be with him, he’s treating
like air. If I get out of this room and ignore him like he’s doing, then what will happen? Will the days continue with us ignoring each other?
"Just face it head-on."
With hesitations going through my whole body, I suddenly rembered what Ace told . ’Just face it straightforwardly like how I’ve always been doing before.’
I took a deep breath as I placed the towel I was holding on the sofa and walked toward the bed. ’If he’s ignoring , then I’ll just force him to notice .’
I climbed the bed and sat in front of him, but Night acted as if he didn’t care. ’Is this how he shows
that he loves ?’
"Are you ignoring ?" I asked. I just got back from being abducted and now he’s giving
a cold shoulder? ’That’s an.’
"I’m not. I just need to finish reading this." He said making
smile.
’Is he really? Why does he look like he’s sulking though?’
"Really?"
Night didn’t say anything after I said that and continued looking at his papers. "Do you really need to do that right now?" I pouted. I thought I could at least hug him until I fall asleep. ’I want to hug him.’
"I want to hug you."
I saw how he flinched after I said that. "A-After this." Why is he stuttering?
Due to annoyance, I slapped the papers away from his hand.
"Hey! What was that—" I didn’t let him finish what he was saying as I grabbed onto his shoulders and sat on his lap. "—for."
I hugged him and rested my chin on his shoulder. His bare skin makes
feel his warmth and it gave
comfort. ’It’s Night. He’s really here with .’
"N-Noelle." I wonder why he’s stuttering as he calls my na. "Why are you sitting on my lap?"
"Why not?"
I heard him sigh because of my answer. "You’ll make
misunderstand."
"Misunderstand what?"
"That you have feelings for
again."
Hearing that made
realize that I still haven’t confessed to Night. Even though I said that I’ll be doing it as soon as I got ho from the art museum. But then I got abducted, so I couldn’t do it.
With that said, should I do it here? It’ll be more romantic since we’re underwater.
"I do have feelings for you. I like you."
I looked at Night’s eyes but I saw him blush and he avoided my gaze. ’What in the world?’ I couldn’t believe what I saw so I forced him to face
again.
"I still love you, Night." After saying that, I flinched when I felt sothing hard below .
"Sothing’s... poking ."
