After all, a girl’s figure is pretty much set by high school.

To protect He Lingyi and keep people who knew her from gossiping, Jiang Sifan gently pulled his arm away and reminded her, "We agreed before, not too much physical contact."

"Alright, alright," He Lingyi explained. "I was just excited and wanted to link arms with soone. I do it with my best friend all the ti."

"But I’m a guy," Jiang Sifan replied. "If soone you know saw us, it wouldn’t be good for your reputation. You’re not even in college yet."

He Lingyi nodded. "I get it, I get it. I know you’re looking out for . I’ll hold back for now. But the day I finish my college entrance exams, I’m going to confess to you~"

Hearing this, Jiang Sifan was montarily at a loss for words.

He didn’t know whether he should agree to it.

To be honest, He Lingyi was indeed very beautiful.

And after giving her a thermos featuring her idol, Owen, that last ti, he had started to develop a bit of a soft spot for He Lingyi.

But this fondness was still a far cry from actual affection.

Besides, the Jiang Sifan of right now had no mind for romance.

If he were to seriously pursue a girl, it would probably be soone like Wen Wan.

’But does Wen Wan even like ?’

After what had happened with his ex-girlfriend, Huang Hui, Jiang Sifan had beco much more cautious when it ca to relationships.

He even felt it would be better to find soone who loved him than to find soone for him to love.

He had loved Huang Hui so much, but she had betrayed him.

Jiang Sifan didn’t know if Wen Wan liked him, but he was certain that He Lingyi definitely did.

’Whatever, I’m not going to think about this anymore.’

And so, the two of them entered the amusent park.

Their first stop was the carousel.

It seems the first thing every girl does at an amusent park is head to the carousel for a few pretty pictures.

Jiang Sifan sat on the horse behind He Lingyi. Once the carousel started, he had her turn around so he could take pictures of her.

He had to admit, He Lingyi looked vibrant and beautiful on her horse.

It was enough to make his heart flutter a little.

But he forced the feeling down. She still had the last six months of exam preparation to get through, and he couldn’t let anything go wrong.

After the carousel, He Lingyi invited Jiang Sifan to go to the haunted house.

At first, Jiang Sifan was hesitant. "Maybe we should skip the haunted house? I don’t want you to have nightmares."

But He Lingyi was insistent. "No way! I want to go to the haunted house. I want to experience the thrill!"

In the end, Jiang Sifan couldn’t say no to her and finally agreed.

Just as the two of them were about to get in line.

Jiang Sifan saw soone who was both familiar and yet a stranger.

Familiar, because he had just seen the person a few days ago and even had an argunt with him.

A stranger, because Jiang Sifan didn’t want to rember him in the slightest.

This person was Xu Junjie, the vice-chairman of the Dual Innovation Departnt.

Xu Junjie was strolling around with a girl with a long ponytail.

As they chatted, his hands were already shalessly straying under the girl’s clothes.

It was clear he was a scoundrel disguised as a gentleman.

Jiang Sifan hadn’t wanted to acknowledge him, planning to just lead He Lingyi toward the haunted house.

But Xu Junjie had spotted him.

He gave a cold snort and walked up to Jiang Sifan, taunting, "Well, well, isn’t this a different girl from the one you were with the other day? Looks like our dear junior is quite the player, always swapping out the beauties by his side."

"You’d better watch your mouth," Jiang Sifan said coldly.

He didn’t want to get tangled up with Xu Junjie and tried to pull He Lingyi away.

But Xu Junjie blocked their path. "What’s not clean about my mouth? What trash did you talk about to Teacher Zhu that made her co down on like that?! And sothing about making apologize to you? Pfft! Apologize my ass."

Jiang Sifan glared at him, angry. "You were clearly the one in the wrong last ti. Why shouldn’t you apologize to ?"

"You call that a startup? Isn’t that just a kid playing in a sandbox?" Xu Junjie sneered. "Teacher Zhu probably just felt sorry for you and kindly requested a classroom. You don’t really think you got it based on your ’ability,’ do you?"

"Whether I have ability is none of your concern. But Teacher Zhu said she would have you apologize to in person. I’ll be waiting," Jiang Sifan said with a slight smile.

This sent Xu Junjie into a rage. He pointed at Jiang Sifan and cursed, "You’re just a fucking freshman, so what are you pretending to be? I’ve been in college three years longer than you, so what are you acting so smug for?"

"Senior," Jiang Sifan replied calmly, "as far as I know, you’re only a junior. How does that make you three years my senior? Can you not do basic math? How did you even get into the Jinling Institute of Technology?"

Now Xu Junjie was truly livid.

He took two angry steps forward, his fists clenched. "Say that one more fucking ti."

At that mont, He Lingyi beca furious.

Even though Xu Junjie was much taller than her, she tilted her head up, shielded Jiang Sifan behind her, and faced him down. "What is wrong with you? Don’t you understand plain English? Or do you need us to repeat it for you? Are you deaf?"

Xu Junjie looked He Lingyi up and down, then started mocking again. "Well, junior, I’ll admit this little sister is pretty cute, but she’s obviously not as beautiful as the last girl you were with. Your standards are slipping day by day."

With that one sentence, he managed to offend both Jiang Sifan and He Lingyi.
