"Yes, it was. But I still need a little breather first before anything else." I tell him, walking towards the Uber and dumping my things into the back of the car. He was beside instantly, putting the rest of the things in there.

"So how would I see you next If I don’t even know where you’re going right now?" He demanded, frown etched deeply into his face. It was so clear that he wasn’t used to not getting his way, and I’d have laughed right now if I wasn’t supposed to be playing along right now.
