"Fetch your iPad and get over here," Jason said to his butler who scrambled to do as asked. Once he was near Jason, Jason motioned for him to sit.

"You know what I need you to look uo for right now? I need you to look up special ogas, ogas with unexpected powers, just anything relating to that, I need everything that I can get." Jason said to his butler who nodded once before instantly getting to work.

I remained in the sa position I was standing in before Jason noticed and asked to go fetch my laptop. "You’ll use it ih looking up sothing else entirely." He instructed and I nodded before leaving to grab it. I plugged out the recording end that was still connected to the laptop and flung it, but then I rembered that the object still had the whole recording in it and I picked it up and confird bunch before keeping it carefully in a place it would be safe at, and then I left for the sitting room.

After that, we all lost ourselves to work, looking up nurous things and trying to make sense of all that we were getting as results. Most of them made no sense and so just made us more confused than we already were. We’re trying to find out the kind of oga is because it seed like that might be able to help us out in a way, since so far we’ve not been able to succeed in what we had been working towards.

Just as we were still working, we were interrupted by the sound of the bell ringing. We planned to ignore it but after the person refused to leave, Jason went to get out, determined to get the person to leave asap. But the person ended up being Anna, and Jason didn’t look happy in any way as he announced that. I was beside him in an instance, welcoming Anna in after opening the door for her. Jason clearly didn’t want her in here at all, but he wasn’t arguing or demanding that I throw her out because he knows that we also need her help in this situation like she needs ours.

"So, I brought food while coming. Is no one hungry?" She demanded but we all ignored her. After that, she attempted looking around but we were quick to remind her that she wasn’t a guest here so it’s best she sit her ass down. When she made to complain, Jason flung her book her way and demanded that began to write down all the addresses she gave, which were about where she believed Alex had taken Rory off to.

She flung the book off and refused. "Not so fast! This is happening too fast and making ne feel like I’m the victim here when I’m the one in charge!" She cried out and Jason’s butter snorted almost imdiately.

Jason crossed the room and flung the book in her face after picking it up.

"you’re so dumb and stupid because that’s the last thing you’re supposed to say after willingly coming in here, knowing damn well that you’re just giving ideas." Jason said to her and her eyes widened before darting towards for a mont. I let out a sigh just as Jason continued.

"No one is threatening you. At this point, we’ll not end up achieving anything because you’re so dumb and slow. Write down the address, we already told you it we get to find Rory, Alex will definitely be present in that sa place, no? Then we’ll just catch him and deal With him in that sa mont. We’ll use one stone to kill two birds, that’s the whole point. Do you understand now?" Jason continued and Anna remained silent, still appearing confused and unsure before finally nodding her head when it ended up dawning on her.

"Oh." She muttered underneath her breath as she proceeded to write down in the book. When Jason glanced at , I offered him a small assuring smile and watched as he exhaled a long breath and visibly relaxed.

I went over to Anna, my laptop in hand as I sank down beside her, just as she finished what she was writing.

"Can you tell us the exact type of oga Rory is? Surely you must know it." I began at once, she grew uncomfortable and unsure.

"I- I don’t..." she began but I narrowed my eyes at her.

"Be honest. We need this. It’s important. I’m sure you and Alex know all that he is." I continued. I chose to do this because I believed this approach was better than Jason’s harsh ones. My guess was proven right when Anna let out a long sigh before beginning to explain everything that we needed to know about Rory.

Apparently, Rory wasn’t as ordinary as we used to think. We didn’t even know ogas had rankings like alphas does. And apparently Rory’s oga is like what an alpha’s enigma is to normal enigmas.

"His powers are in his blood. His blood is very powerful. It’s strong enough to bring this world to an end." She revealed awe in her voice and Jason spoke next.

"Wait... that’s what you and Alex planned to do? To bring an end to this world??" He asked and Anna pursed her lips while shaking her head in response.

"Nothing like that: we only wanted to be powerful, very powerful. I guess that bastard suddenly doesn’t want to share the power with anymore, which is why I swore to bring him down no matter what." Her voice had grown venomous as she spat those words.

I glanced over my laptop screen before glancing back at her and then I spoke. "But why aren’t you a special oga too? You’re both siblings, aren’t you? Why do you need his own blood if the sa blood runs through your veins?" I asked and Anna was silent for about a minute before sitting up and letting out a huff.

"That’s- that’s because we’re not actual siblings." She revealed and at once, my mouth fell open and I gaped at her in shock but she only shrugged before pursing her lips.

"Are you serious??" I asked and she nodded again before sighing.

"We’re not siblings. I didn’t have a mother because she died after I was born, but one day, my father returned with a kid and told that was gonna be my new brother, and I knew we weren’t related but I rolled with it and here we are." She explained and when I glanced at Jason, a scowl was across his face.

"No wonder, all of it makes so much sense now. The fact that your father was willing to betroth him off because of a debt. The fact that you were able to sleep with his fiance, the fact that you hated him to the point of wanting to kill him... I knew that wasn’t a fluke. I an; I never had a sibling but I just know siblings are supposed to look out for each other and not the other way round." As Jason spoke, everything made more sense to as the seconds went by.

"But where is he from though? Like where your father brought him from." I spoke this ti after about a few minutes of silence between us. Anna huffed and shrugged again.

"I have no idea."

I rolled my eyes. "You didn’t ask your father? Where is he?"

"I was a kid, rember? And he’s dead." She responded and I sighed as I dragged my palm over my face. This has just taken us back to the very beginning, but at least where Rory was actually from didn’t actually affect anything so far.

"The jet is already being readied, sir." Jason’s butler said to him just as I got to my feet. Jason said sothing in response that I didn’t catch, because I was currently heading to the bedroom so I could order so food for Jason. He might hate to be reminded but he was sick and needed food so he could use the drugs we got from the hospital this morning.

After placing a quick, simple order, I decided to call my mother so I could speak to the kids. Their voices were like a ray of sunshine to right now and I wished they were present right now to give warm hugs.

"When is dad gonna be back? I miss him, and he didn’t say goodbye before leaving." Niko was the one currently speaking and I found myself wincing because I hated lying to him, but of course I have to lie to him right now. And that’s exactly what I did, assuring him it was because sothing important and unexpected ca up.

Jason, myself and Anna were outside the location Anna had been a hundred percent sure we’d find Alex at. And right before I could ask if she was certain of this location, the door of the house was opening and to our shock, Alex stepped out, and in his arms laid an unconscious Rory.
