Chapter 530: She is again up to sothing

Jenny slumped in her chair defeatedly and closed her eyes. She was lost in her thoughts. Gavin’s words sohow happened to stir her emotions and she couldn’t help but get confused.

"Why did he say those words" she mumbled to herself and took in a deep breath.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

The sound on the door snapped her out of her thoughts and she quickly straightened up. Her eyes went towards the door and Jenny saw Doctor Martin step him.

"I hope I am not disturbing you, Doctor Jenny"

Jenny’s face darkened on Martin’s arrival, however, she quickly masked her displeasure and forced a smile welcoming him inside her cabin.

"No, you aren’t. Please have a seat, Doctor Martin" she said politely and watched him take the seat in front of her desk.

Two days passed since the restaurant incident, however, Martin remained indifferent, despite witnessing Bianca there.

However, after two days, she could finally sense sothing strange when he unexpectedly visited her cabin, during working hours.

Jenny squinted her eyes and carefully observed the man. He might appear aloof from the outside, but she had a feeling that Martin was trying to conceal his fears.

"Ah, Doctor Jenny, I just wanted to ask you sothing" Martin began breaking Jenny’s curious gaze.

"Yes, go on" Jenny composed herself and asked him to speak.

Martin knew Bianca had managed to escape from the abductor and after coming across her in the restaurant, he wanted to make sure she happened to contact her bestie sohow.

"Do you have any idea where Bianca is? I an you are her best friend and she only talks with you. So-"

Jenny’s eyes turned cold, however, she maintained her cool, stopping herself from bursting out.

"I think you forgot Doctor Martin. Bianca has been missing for almost ten days and instead of finding her, you are asking

whether I know where she is!"

Martin’s face paled when Jenny rudely answered him back. The always quiet Jenny was arguing with him and that took Martin by surprise.

"I-I didn’t an to say that however I-"

"However what Doctor Martin. Did you forget how you stopped

the other day from speaking anything about Bianca to her family? Then why are you suddenly worried whether she called

or not"

"Is there anything you are trying to hide Doctor Martin" Jenny narrowed her eyes watching the man almost lose all the color on his face.

Martin was on the verge of breaking into sweat, however like the lair he was, he imdiately shook his head and laughed anxiously.

"Oh! Right. How can I forget that? See I am so busy these days that I forgot, Bianca had gone missing." Martin chuckled however watching Jenny stare at him coldly, his smile faltered to slowly disappear.

"Ahem.. I think I should get back to work." unable to handle her gaze Martin quickly excused himself.

As soon as the door behind him closed, Martin quickly pulled out the handkerchief from his pocket and wiped off his face, nervously.

He almost got himself, however, it was confird and that Jenny wasn’t aware of Bianca’s whereabouts. If she had known then Jenny wouldn’t have reacted the way she did inside.

Martin heaved out a deep breath and composed himself before heading back to his cabin.

As soon as he entered inside, Martin made a call to the man whom he had been secretly associating with. No one knew how Martin sold himself for so money, however now he regretted it because the reason why he stooped low was out there sowhere and if he didn’t find her then he feared he would lose everything.

Biting his lips anxiously, Martin waited for the person to answer his calls.

"You are wrong, Jenny doesn’t know anything about Bianca," he said as soon as the person answered the call.

Lucas’ face darkened upon hearing his words. The confidence in his words sowhat took him back, however, he knew sothing was fishy.

Jenny was Bianca’s closest friend and there was no way she wouldn’t contact her only friend.

Taking a mont Lucas spoke," Don’t drop your guards until you find Bianca, or else get ready to lose your life"

Lucas’ warning drained all the blood from Martin’s face and his handle trembled dropping the cell phone from his hold.

Martin gulped and quickly reached out to grab the glass of water from his desk. Gulping it down, Martin slamd the glass on the table and cursed.

"It’s all because of you Bianca. If you hadn’t rejected . I wouldn’t have stooped this low. And now by running away, you have once again landed

into big trouble" Martin blad Bianca for all his misery, but little did he know Lucas was just using him for the ti being before tossing him away like a used tissue.

"Jennifer doesn’t know what she has gotten herself into" Ashley turned off her mobile screen and tossed the phone aside.

After getting thrown out from her forr agency, Jennifer still managed to get so work, using her previous connection. She was enjoying the life she chose however she wasn’t seeing the trouble she was getting herself into.

The more she was letting her greed take over her conscience the more she was digging a hole for herself.

Sandra had been quite hideous about her motive ever since she joined hands with Jennifer. She had been secretively keeping an eye on every one of them but still hadn’t taken any action against them. However, she knew, that whatever she would do, Jennifer would be the one to suffer.

"Ma’am, this is the dress you would be wearing for the teaser launch," Miley said presenting the dress to Ashley.

It had been fifteen days since the shoot finished, however, the production team decided to release the teaser before the actual tailor.

A small event was organized and all the mbers who worked hard in making the movie were invited.

Ashley looked at the dress and gave Miley an approving nod.

Taking a mont she asked," What about Jennifer, is she going to attend the event"

Now that everyone was invited, Ashley was sure Jennifer wouldn’t miss an opportunity to ignore such a significant event.

As her gaze darted towards Miley, she watched her manager nod.

"Yes, Ma’am, Jennifer is going to attend the event. However, she has refrained from joining the sa stage as yours"

Ashley’s lips curved into an amusing smile. "She is again up to sothing"
