The video on the projector screen stopped playing and a familiar laugh echoed inside the dark theater room.

Dante clenched his jaw when Alphonse’s face ca in front of his eyes he laughed like a maniac.

"Did you like my surprise, Dante" Alphonse asked plastering that playful yet mysterious smile on his face? Though he was smiling there was an underlying threat in his voice that didn’t go unnoticed.

Dante was barely controlling his anger knowing it was just a video Alphonse sent to communicate his ssage to them. But what took him by shock when he saw Grace in it.

"Grace is being followed by my ns and if you don’t want them to harm her then agree to my proposal" the playfulness in Alphonse’s voice was now replaced with a threatening one.

He knew Grace was Dante’s weakness and he would go to any extent to keep her safe and away from the shadow of his dark world.

Dante’s eyes burned in pure rage as he tried to hold back the tears that welled around when he saw his daughter after so long. But what made him feel more worst was, she had no clue that she was been watched the entire ti and her life was at risk.

He thought, he had everything under control but Alphonse was a step ahead of him. He managed to find his weakness and now he wanted to use that sa thing to gain his victory.

"You only have a day to co to a decision Dante. A second more and I won’t think twice before I ask my n to shoot her dead"

Alphonse was a man of word and if he says so then he ant it.

Dante watched the video end and never once his eyes moved away from it. His palm curled into a tight fist as he tried to calm himself. All he could think was Grace being monitored by Alphonse’s n the entire ti.

Ace who stood next to him felt a chill run down his spine when the temperature around them dropped quickly.

Suddenly he watched Dante getting up from his seat and that made him flinch a little. Though he was the strongest comrade in the clan still Dante’s murderous aura who end up scaring him.

Dante was the most chill leader he ever ca across but when soone tried to piss him off, especially targeting his family, then it was hard for anyone to ta him.

Ace was still in his mind when suddenly Dante stood up breaking his thought. "Arrange our eting. I would privately like to et Alphonse" his eyes turned to look at Ace and he further continued," Do not tell Tristan anything about it, am I clear" there was a warning lingering in those dark blue orbs that made Ace bob his head in agreent.

With that, he turned and left the room leaving Ace speechless. He never thought the leader would co to find their little secret. Yes, it was Tristan who had disclosed Alphonse’s illegal activities to the cops, and the one who helped him with it was Ace.

Though they had their identities hidden still, they couldn’t hide them from Dante. Behind that playful and chilled face was a gawk who had his eyes around his people and there was nothing that could be kept away from him.

Cursing himself ntally, Ace walked out of the room following his boss’s order.

After sending the video ssage Alphonse was sure that Dante will soon try to reach him and that is what happened when in no ti he got the news of Dante agreeing on eting him.

Content by the small victory, Alphonse leaned on his throne-like chair and smirked. He then pulled out his phone and made a call to soone informing sothing and soon ended the call.

He then looked at his n and instructed," Get Gabriel for the eting. It’s ti for him to step in"

"Yes, boss" with that the man walked away from there.

"Let’s get it done once and for all" Alphonse muttered as his eyes turned dark and the smirk crept on his lips.

[Boys dormitory]

Noah was busy playing gas on his cell phone, while Karl sat on the desk and was writing down the notes but Tristan, he laid on the bed facing the ceiling above and pondered on the words Noah told him.

Sandra wasn’t soone he could doubt but sothing about Mia’s words caught him stuck to the incident that both Alexa and Sandra headed to the sa floor where Alexa was later found dead.

"Do you think Gabriel must know about this?" Tristan’s words caught both Noah’s and Karl’s attention.

Tristan pushed himself up and crossed his legs looking at both simultaneously. Noah and Karl both blinked their eyes as they watched Tristan as if he had grown horns on his head.

"And what we should say, is that we have a doubt that Sandra is related to Alexa’s mysterious death. You must be kidding , Tristan. We don’t even have any proof" Noah said letting out a sarcastic chuckle.

Sothing about Sandra felt like a mystery to them. She appeared lively and full of energy from the outside making everyone feel her innocence but there was sothing about her that never made them fully trust her.

It was because of Gabriel, they never let their suspicion invade their friendship. He loved her way too much and they didn’t want to break his heart.

"Maybe you are right. What if Mia is just making up so fake stories? Not to forget she is also one of the girls who hate Sandra for being the one girlfriend in our group" Karl pointed.

Mia wasn’t soone they could trust. The girl was like a cunning fox who appeared like an innocent cow.

before" Noah snapped looking at Karl who just disclosed big news in front of him.

While the two were busy arguing with each other, Tristan’s mind was still a ss. Gabriel was his friend and he didn’t want him to be kept behind the shadows. If Sandra had nothing to do with Alexa’s death, then she should have just gone and given her statent to the cops, but she didn’t and that was quite suspicious.

If not for the secret bully rumors circulating around the university, Tristan wouldn’t have diverted his attention to Sandra.

’I have to find everything’ the thought to himself and climbed down the bed and marched out of the room leaving the two dumbfounded.

"Where did he go at this hour" Noah mumbled quickly changing his mood from a crybaby’s face to a confused one.

Looking in the direction from where Tristan left, Karl muttered," What if he went to et Gabriel" snapping their eyes in shock both looked at each other before jumping out from their seats and running behind him like a kid.

Before Tristan could get into his car, Noah and Karl stopped him." What’s wrong with you two? Get out of my way" Tristan said watching them both blocking him from entering his car.

"No, we can’t" Noah who was panting profoundly found his voice to speak only to get a deadly glare in return.

"What!" Tristan couldn’t understand why all of sudden his friends were behaving strangely, took a step behind and eyed them both simultaneously.

"We won’t let you go and et Gabriel" Noah stated and Karl bobbed his head agreeing to his words as they slowly straightened themselves.

"Gabriel, why would I go and et him?" Tristan asked crossing his hand over his chest and observed their expression turn into confusion.

"No! You weren’t going to et Gabriel and tell him about Sandra" Noah mumbled stupidly as he scratched his head and watched Tristan’s lips twitch in annoyance.

’Did they think I was so stupid to go and tell Gabriel about Sandra at this hour and that too without any solid proof’ Tristan couldn’t understand whether he should cry or laugh.

These boys have known him since childhood, yet they couldn’t understand him. He would’ve let go if it was Noah but Karl, he knew him inside out, still, he believed this nut head.

"Then where are you going?" this ti it was Karl who asked.

Tristan looked at Karl for a few seconds before he spoke," Get the proofs"

The mont he finished both Karl and Noah dropped their jaw in shock. Finding them standing like a statue, Tristan pushed them aside and opened the car’s door before hopping in.

"Do you both want to join?" he asked looking at the two and as if his voice pulled them out of the trance, they quickly hopped into the car without a word and soon drove away from the Dormitory building.
