Soon they reached their residential with Alice and Noah stepping out of the car. Noah was about to walk around and grab Alice’s hand when soone called him from behind.

"Noah..."

Turning around at the person Noah felt the ground under his feet slip. Natalie stood right behind him.

’H-How did she find...’ Noah couldn’t finish his words when the lady rushed and pounced on him taking him by surprise.

Alice who was standing on the other side clench her fist in anger watching the girl jump on Noah as if she claid him.

The day Noah told him about the task, Tristan had given for him to accomplish, she had run a few checks on the girl’s na Natalie, and it didn’t take her ti to recognize her.

Noah stood there like a statue as if lost his sense of thinking but when he felt Natalie press her body on him, he felt a sudden rush of disgust pass through his body giving him a creepy feeling.

Getting back his sense Noah held her shoulder and pushed her away from him. Natalie stumbled back watching Noah in shock. She expected him to be happy to see her but all she saw was shock marred all over his face.

Giving a final glance, Alice turned around and walked away from there as she didn’t want to create any scene.

"A-Alice..." Noah mumbled watching her retreating back and before he could take a step ahead Natalie stopped him. Her eyes looked at the woman’s back as she saw her enter the building.

"Noah... stop" Natalie quickly blocked his way, stopping him from going away.

Noah gnashed his teeth in fury and jerk her hands off him, leaving her in surprise.

"What do want Natalie" Noah raised his voice at her. He didn’t know how was he going to handle this situation, but he can’t let her appearance ruin his life.

Looking down at her jerked hand, Natalie round it into a fist and raised her head to et his furious gaze. She couldn’t understand why he was acting as if he wasn’t happy to see her when back in the club that day, he was enjoying her company.

She now understood why he was behaving like this. Maybe she ruined his ti with one of his flings and he was upset over it. She couldn’t bla him after all they both were on the sa page when it ca to having one night stand.

Natalie was dumbfounded to see Noah leave her just like that and she felt her blood boil in anger.

Left with no other choice Natalie had to leave but she promised that she wouldn’t give up on him no matter what.

anwhile, Noah rushed inside the building getting anxious about Alice. The way she walked away from there without uttering a word made him feel guilty. As soon as he reached the floor, he ran to see if Alice was in her apartnt but the door was locked.

Assuming her to be in his house, Noah quickly dashed into his apartnt, entering inside and searching for Alice.

His heart was beating wildly inside his chest as he road his eyes around the entire house only to find a silhouette standing inside the balcony.

Heaving out a sigh, Noah composed his emotion before she approached her.

"Alice" he called her na by placing his hand on her shoulder, hoping she would turn the next instant.

Noah could sense the change in her behavior. Feeling the nervousness surging up again, Noah was about to call her once more when suddenly he saw her turn around.

Noah was hoping to face her anger but when she turned to face him all he saw was the calmness on her face.

’Isn’t she upset’ he thought inwardly.

After abruptly leaving the spot, Noah thought Alice would isolate herself in her room but he was surprised that she decided to co to his house rather than shoving him away from her.

While his eyes were trying to see through her calmness, he suddenly heard her say," Isn’t she Natalie?" her toneless voice made Noah retreat his hand from her shoulder and he bobbed his head.

"Yes, it’s her" he honestly answered.

"What was she doing here Noah?" Alice continued carrying the sa calm aura. Even if she was upset to see her hug him, she can’t let herself doubt him without listening to what he had to say.
