The mont Hespera Eveningstar plunged her hand into Issei Hyoudou's chest, her fingers curling around the fragile, beating heart before snuffing it out like a candle, the world itself shuddered.
And when she erased him from existence entirely, using her Nihility ability, an invisible chain snapped.
Across the realms, within the human world, in the depths of the underworld, and even beyond, sothing broke.
A link that had not yet been fully ford, but destined to take root, shattered before it could ever reach fruition. (Our girl was cucking! ...Or is it ntring?🤔)
For those tied to him, it was a feeling beyond words.
So felt relieved (As they should. We all knew Issei couldn't take care of all those girls. He probably forgot them later on. That's the problem with big harems, you can't satisfy them all.🙂↔️)
And so felt loss (They must have had so issues they needed to work out😒)
Rias Gremory (The main wifu)
Rias had been walking through the empty halls of Kuoh Academy when it happened.
One mont, she was listening absentmindedly to Sona Sitri talk about an upcoming student council eting, since school was over—then, suddenly—
She stopped mid-step.
A weight lifted from her shoulders.
A tension she hadn’t even realized she’d been carrying was gone.
She inhaled sharply, red brows furrowing, a strange mixture of relief and loss curling within her chest. (We all knew she had issues)
Why…? Why did she suddenly feel so free?
She clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms. There was sothing important she was forgetting—sothing that should have mattered.
But no matter how hard she tried to grasp at the fading sensation, it slipped through her fingers like mist.
"Rias?" Sona’s voice was smooth, amused—yet tinged with curiosity. "What’s wrong?"
Rias blinked, forcing a smile.
"...Nothing. Just... felt weird for a second."
Sona humd, unconvinced, but let it go.
Yet, even as Rias continued her day, an unease lingered in the back of her mind.
It was as if she had been released from a future she never knew was weighing her down.
And the strangest part? She wasn’t sure if she should be grateful or afraid.
Akeno Hijima (second wifu?)
Akeno had been pouring tea in the ORC room when the shift occurred.
Her fingers stilled against the delicate porcelain, the sound of liquid filling the cup suddenly too loud in the silence that stretched before her.
She frowned, a deep, unsettling feeling twisting in her gut.
Sothing had been taken.
Sothing important.
But when she tried to reach for the mory, there was nothing there.
Just a strange sense of relief curling beneath her skin, laced with an unsettling emptiness.
The sensation sent a shiver down her spine.
Her hand twitched slightly, and the teapot trembled, but she quickly steadied herself.
"Strange…" she murmured, barely loud enough for Rias to hear.
Kiba Yuuto glanced up from his reading, his gaze sharp. "Are you ok, Akeno? You look lost."
Akeno hesitated. Then, she smiled, but this ti, it didn’t reach her eyes.
"...It’s nothing~ Just a fleeting thought."
But deep down, she knew it wasn’t.
Sothing had changed. Sothing irreversible. And it was only a matter of ti before they figured out what.
Koneko Toujou
Koneko was in the courtyard, eating her usual snack, waiting on the others to get done with their afterschool duties, when the air shifted.
Her ears twitched. Her tail bristled. Her golden eyes narrowed, sharp and alert.
She felt odd. Sothing had been cut away from her existence.
Sothing—or soone—who had been fated to be a part of her future... was gone.
The strangest part? It didn’t feel bad.
It felt like she had narrowly avoided sothing unpleasant, sothing that would have trapped her in a fate she wasn’t sure she would have chosen.
And that—more than anything—unsettled her.
Koneko didn't believe in coincidences.
If sothing was missing, then sothing—or soone—was responsible.
She would find out what. She would find out who.
She crushed the empty snack bag in her hand, her tail flicking once before she stood up, her eyes glinting with quiet determination.
Asia Argento (This girl was too innocent for her own good)
Far away, in a quiet, candlelit church, Asia Argento kneeled in front of an altar, hands clasped in prayer.
The air slled of aged parchnt and lted wax, the dim glow of flickering candles casting soft golden light across the sacred space.
She had been deep in silent devotion when it happened. A sudden, inexplicable feeling of emptiness blossod in her chest.
Her breath hitched. Her fingers trembled slightly against the rosary she held.
For a mont, she didn’t understand.
A presence—a connection—was gone. And yet, she couldn’t rember who or what it was supposed to be.
She pressed a hand against her heart, her erald eyes flickering with quiet confusion. "...What… was that?" she whispered to herself.
A mont later, the feeling was replaced by sothing else. Relief.
The tightness in her chest she hadn’t realized was there uncoiled. Like she had been spared from sothing. Or perhaps… freed.
Asia closed her eyes, whispering a soft prayer, but this ti, there was no na to dedicate it to.
She didn’t know why. She didn’t know who she was supposed to be grieving.
And so, she simply let it go.
The Others
Elsewhere, other won who had once been destined—fated—to be part of Issei Hyoudou’s harem felt it too.
Xenovia Quarta, in the middle of training, suddenly stumbled mid-swing. Her blade wavered as she frowned, her heartbeat off-rhythm for a mont before settling.
Irina Shidou, praying in a quiet church, suddenly paused, her lips parting as a wave of uncertainty washed over her.
Rossweisse, buried under a mountain of finance papers, suddenly felt the overwhelming urge to drink—though she couldn’t explain why.
Each of them felt it.
None of them understood why.
But one thing was certain—
The world had just changed.
And none of them could explain why they were suddenly feeling like this.
~☆~
anwhile, the one responsible for all of this chaos, confusion, and broken fates—the destroyer of the harem, the eraser of the protagonist, the walking catastrophe wrapped in silver-streaked beauty—was currently humming.
And not just any song.
Hespera sauntered down the street, her thigh-high boots clicking against the pavent, her schoolbag slung lazily over one shoulder. Her silver hair cascaded down her back in effortless waves, streaked with violet, indigo, and green-blue that shimred in the early morning light.
And all the while, she humd a cheerful, upbeat lody—
“Oh, she's sweet but a psycho~”
A soft giggle escaped her lips.
“A little bit psycho~”
Her heterochromatic eyes—one erald, the other athyst—glowed faintly as she twirled a lollipop between her fingers, her smile deceptively innocent.
They had no idea.
The entire universe was beginning to shift, the chessboard of fate flipping over with every step she took. And all the important little players—the devils, the angels, the fallen, the dragons—were just now noticing the cracks forming in their once "stable" world.
How adorable.
“At night she's screamin’~”
Her boots clicked against the pavent, the music in her mind perfectly syncing with the rhythm of her steps.
Today was going to be so much fun.
She popped the lollipop into her mouth, letting the tart raspberry flavor coat her tongue as she rounded the corner toward Kuoh Academy.
This is a a short one today since I have work today. Adulting sucks!
