’’I win?’’

Alaric thought.

But given the silence around him, he guessed he had won. Otherwise, he would have heard the demon’s smug sound right now.

Well... it was really worth it after all he had done, but he couldn’t survive to see himself gain the reward.

He was dying.

Now, he couldn’t even breathe properly or open his eyes fully. In the next mont, his vision went completely pitch black.

hours passed.

Suddenly, a cold wind bit the slave’s body, making him frown. He slowly opened his eyes and glanced around while still lying on the cold rocky platform.

’’I’m still alive... again?’’

He sat up slowly, pressing his temples to steady his mind. It was strange, but it seed he had recovered after completing the final challenge.

Perhaps, that was the reward of the god.

It made sense.

Ting!

Ting!

Ting!

[You gained 2000 Chaos Points.]

Dizzy from the screen in front of him, the slave smiled weakly. However, rembering that damned [Gacha], his happiness quickly faded. He wasn’t sure about his luck—he had a bad feeling about the [Gacha].

Perhaps a trash item would appear again if he used it, like the necklace.

’’Oh, necklace.’’

He glanced around and finally saw the necklace by Morris’s corpse. Its appearance surprised him.

The necklace glimred and emitted a bizarre aura. For so reason, he felt hatred and rage at its core.

He scratched his head, completely confused. But, who cares?

[Summon your creature]

The slave rubbed his chin for a mont before summoning his massive stone egg.

Pretty soon, the fragnt of stone appeared ahead. Well, it had basically been smashed by Morris’s pet earlier.

And then, those broken fragnts of stone quickly moved and hovered toward the necklace nearby.

’’YOU FUCKER!’’

A furious scream echoed from the necklace as the dark soul was pulled out and rged with the fragnts. From the shape of the soul, the slave could also guess who it was.

The demon king.

The slave had no idea. It seed he had missed a few important details while strangling Morris. But it didn’t matter. He had won.

The initial figure of the bare demon quickly reford under the naless god’s power, but in this situation, the demon king was far from happy. He yelled and struggled against the strange power manipulating him, but it was pointless—whatever he did, even scolding the naless god, changed nothing.

’’FUCK! BASTARD!’’

His whole body was swiftly blanketed by fragnts of stone, and the massive stone egg began to form again.

Turning his fury to the slave, the demon uttered a few words in an ancient language. The mont he glared at the slave, he whispered his final sentence before being completely covered by the stone fragnts:

’’In the na of the Demon King, I curse you.’’

[Congratulations! You have received a curse]

’’A curse?’’

The slave scratched his temple in confusion. He had no idea about it. The god would grant the winner a curse instead of a blessing. Surely, he could not hear the demon’s final sentence.

"Let’s see it."

[Curse of the Demon King]

[Description]: The bloodline of the cursed one: You’re the fated enemy of all creatures. Disaster follows your every step, everybody hates you, everybody wants to kill you, everyone wants to devour you to erase the calamitous blood in your veins.

"Yes! Great! An aweso curse." The slave smiled for a mont... before he collapsed and lay on the cold ground.

"D-Damn it!"

[Congratulations! You have received a blessing]

"Who cares?" An unfortunate thing had happened to him earlier , he guessed this ti, it was no different at all. His blessing surely was a useless thing.

Even as the slave said that, the system screen automatically appeared in front of him.

[Blessing of the Naless God]

[Description]: Slayer of Gods: You’re the fated natural enemy of the gods. You have the right to punish gods and their children. Their divine mana, blessings and curses holds no power against you.

His eyes widened, and his mouth almost dropped at those words. His satisfaction overwheld the sadness from before.

"Slayer of Gods... Soone like , a slave, has the right to kill gods and their children... that sounds interesting."

He stood up and thought about his curse. Judging by the curse’s na, he supposed the demon king had cursed him before dying.

It was really bad, but it wasn’t utter despair. He could figure out a way to erase the curse. Moreover, his life ever since he was reincarnated in this world hadn’t been much different from the curse’s description. Indeed, everyone always hated him and wanted to kill him.

It didn’t matter if he defeated all the bastards who tried to pick a fight with him.

"Now, let’s see my summon."

He activated his summon slots.

Na: Potential Demonic Egg

Truly na: Khaled, [none], [none], [none],

Potential: Transcendent Potential

Evolution stage: –

Mana Core Count: –

[Do you want to evolve your summon?]

Alaric frowned as he looked at the system screen, ignoring all other words.

"What the hell is that?... H-He has four nas?...I thought they’d have a long na.’’

He looked up and commanded the system to evolve his summon.

[Your summon has two paths to evolve]

–[Hellfire Demon]

[Description]: This demon carries the bloodline of hellfire demons. They are the inferior demons living on the border of hell. Overall, they’re rather weak. However, they possess hellfire strong enough to burn the souls of their enemies.

–[Wind Demon]

[Description]: This demon carries the bloodline of wind demons. They are descended from demons living in the skies of hell. They have lazy personalities, always sleeping whenever they get a chance. Despite these flaws, they possess winds cold enough to freeze enemies and sharp enough to slice them into hundreds of pieces.

The slave rubbed his chin and gazed at the system screen, trying to decide what to choose. Overall, both evolution paths seed quite good.

While he was thinking, a sound rang out again.

[Do you want to use 2,000 Chaos Points to unlock another evolution path?]
