"I want papa!" Arabella tugged on her dress continuously. "Now, please."

Evelyn finally looked away from the quickly departing back of Dante. That man had escaped surprisingly quickly from a child and woman.

The chocolate was still in her hand and the speed at which the man had run out made her shake her head at him. He could not even face the consequences of water he had unrivaled.

She looked down to her daughter to look like on the verge of crying and throwing attention. If arabella continued, this was the first tantrum her daughter would throw.

The first tantrum her daughter would throw would not be because of a toy she wanted or a pretty dress but because she wanted a father.

"Mummy, give a papa!" Arabella cried and the tears were almost there. They would have lted her heart but unfortunately the situation brought her into a more panic minded state than sympathetic.

"Bella," she patted her cheek gently, "I can’t buy you a father from the market. Okay?" She really hoped that arabella would not continue the discussion. Just like the previous, her daughter would drop the discussion altogether or be distracted with sothing.

"Why not?" She pouted and then pointed to where Dante had left. "Can he be my daddy?"

Evelyn turned her head there. Nope. If she ever thought about answering that, Salvatore would definitely kill her.

"Umm.." Evelyn gave her a hesitant smile, thinking about what she chose to say here.

Who was her father? Should she take Salvatore’s na, because obviously she could not talk about the biological father who might be dead at the mont?

The best option she had was to prolong it as long as she could and how far could she go over with a two year old without her finding it out?

"Madam," Marco made his presence known, making the ladies look towards him, "the master has called for you."

"Master?" Arabella whispered and shrinked back. "Who, mummy?"

Hmm, Evelyn noticed that the child was a little bit scared of Marco. She did not cry in his presence but was a little weary and that she noticed well.

Evelyn answered, "the man who helped you eat dinner last night and the one who was sitting with us having breakfast next to you."

"Oh," she nodded, "but why is he calling you? Did you do sothing bad?" She asked innocently and Evelyn cooed at her, gently pinching her cheeks.

No idea why but the spanking from last night ca to her mind. She cleared her throat and shrugged. "Why don’t you go to Iona? When I’m free, I will co and get you and then we can go to the mall?"

Arabella nodded almost imdiately and turned around to hold the hand of her nanny who took her up the stairs to her room.

After that she followed Marco to the office of the master of the house and found herself in the simulations sitting in front of him.

"You called?"

He nodded. "You avoided telling Arabella who her father was."

That was surprisingly quicker than she had anticipated him to know about this. Soone was certainly an old gossip lady here.

Coming back to the topic at hand, Evelyn licked her upper left before she answered, "would you have preferred too? You have not given any instructions—"

"I don’t rember you following them ever correctly." He pointed out and she shut up.

She drumd her fingers nervously on the dress skirt and waited for him to continue.

"Do you want to tell her?" Instead of waiting for him to continue she just pointed out to the elephant in the room. "Her real father is probably dead as you said. So would you be willing to pick up her father?"

"Are you saying that I will be a bad one?" The don surely spoke as if he had taken offence but from his expressions she could not tell anything.

"Um," she gulped, "I don’t know. Why would you be a father to a girl you don’t know and do not have any relation with?"

"My relationship with her is written on her birth certificate." Salvatore held her stare. "That will be all."

He had clearly dismissed her and she would have gotten up to work out but this ti she did not.

Because this ti the matter was of concern to her child and she was not sure what Salvatore wanted.

"Would you treat her like your own?" She whispered hurriedly and sat up straighter. "Would you treat her like you would treat your own child?"

Salvatore’s eyes slowly moved up from the file that he was looking at and then settled on her. "If I didn’t an to," he leaned closer, "then I assure you that child would not be in my house."

Evelyn nodded, having received her answer along with an awkwardly ominous reply.

"And," she stopped in the middle of getting up when he began to talk again, "I have every intention of treating the child as my own." As if making sure that she understood every word he said, Salvatore did not look upon her and held her stare before Evelyn gave up.

"Alright," she nodded and stood up, "would you like to introduce her to the idea today?"

"At dinner."

"Alright," she gave him a final nod before walking out of the office.

Marco was standing outside the room and when he saw her co out of it he whispered sothing into his ear.

"Miss Arabella will be present downstairs, Madam." He inford her. "Shall we?"

She nodded, again, and just walked alongside him to the ground flower where she found her daughter waiting for her while jumping and excited.

"Mall now?" Arabella shrieked and Evelyn nodded. Even though she felt tired to match her energy with that of a toddler, she lifted the corner of her lips and shrieked in excitent with her daughter.

Tonight was going to require even more energy.
