The car ride was silent because he had refused to listen to the charter of radio or the quiet piano music in the background. He was going back to his parents house after having another session finding out the rat in his organisation.

Even though torture was sothing that he had grown up with and now had taken up as a second nature, The torture of finding out the rats and then blessing them with the sa was surprisingly boring and sothing he repulsed. It made him sacrifice his sleep without any reason.

It was surprisingly quieter in the house than usual which was out of the ordinary because he would co in the late hours of the night or perhaps the early hours of the day.

The problem with it was, by the grim expression of the god that was in front of the door to his father’s house it was obvious that sothing had happened.

Sothing bad in particular.

He quickened his steps and before he knew what he was standing outside his father’s office but he did not knock and rather just barged in.

Angelo’s eye’s were already on his and he was seated on his desk chair as if he was anticipating this.

"What happened?" He closed the door behind him and stood in the middle of the room, not bothering to take a seat in front of his father.

Angelo nodded but did not ask his son to sit. If he wanted to Salvatore would have already taken a seat.

"We had a black out today," he inford, "the black how it happened in the entire state aning not even a street light that was powered by us was on."

"And?"

Angelo looked away and muttered under his breath, "they took her.’

It took him a second to register what he said and the mont he did, Salvatore had one na flash in front of his eyes but that could not be right. They had too many females in the family.

It could be anyone.

"Who?" The word was a whisper when it left his mouth. It took every ounce of control in his body two not shake out of the anger and helplessness he felt at the mont.

"Evelyn."

Salvatore closed his eyes before taking a deep breath and calming himself. "Go ahead."

Things needed to get as much as information as he could at this mont and the only source of it was his father.

This ti his father turned to look at him as he answered, "there was a blackout of exactly five minutes. That’s all it took for them to take her from her room."

"From her room?" Salvatore scoffed in disbelief. "Five minutes was what it took for them to kidnap her from her room inside your house. Do you realise what it looks like?"

Not giving his father a chance to speak Salvatore glared answered for himself, "this ans that we are fucking stupid, stupid enough that soone knows the map of our house and was able to carry out a kidnap in write under a nose after blocking out every damn source of electricity!"

"I am the one that looks fucking stupid," Angelo all but growled out. "It happened in my house, right under my nose. You don’t need to tell how stupid it looks."

Salvatore scoffed again. "It was my wife who I entrusted with you. She is kidnapped under your nose after two years—" he hissed in irritation.

"What?"

"Nothing," Salvatore snapped, "is there sothing you know, anything other than that?"

Angelo didn’t answer and harder than any other situation Salvatore would have laughed loudly on his father.

The old fucker did not have any knowledge about what happened and it really pissed his father off.

If there was sothing that Angelo truly loved, that was his love for control of everything. The control of situation to the control of people living inside his house, his father loved have control over everything.

Only for a situation like this to occur where Angelo had no idea what the hell went down in his house, fuck, it was comical for sure.

So far, from what he knew, the lights went out for 5 minutes in total and that was enough for those looking to kidnap his wife. Those n definitely had to be on the inside of the organisation to know enough about the outlay of the house.

So Either, there were more traitors than they thought or they were targeting the ones wrong.

Soone orchestrated sothing so huge write under their nose and Salvatore had no ti to waste.

With the last nod that he sent to his father, he went out of the house and once again sat inside his car before sending a text to his n to gather again.

"What the hell?" Dante’s roar was expected and shocked no one in the room. "You an to tell that soone kidnapped Evelyn from your parents house?"

It was a huge thing. His father’s house was in a state filled with guards to the brim. The security caras, the backup plan for electricity, it was difficult to get in and out of the house without his permission. The loyalty of his n towards him made it even more difficult for intruders to enter but it had only taken soone 5 minutes to kidnap his daughter-in-law.

So yes, the entire world was shocked.

"There is no way that soone could kidnap a daughter in law especially when she was a bianchi. The entire world knows that she was a bianchi and fact the last one standing!" Dante shook his head. "People can be stupid but I refuse to think that soone can be stupid enough to kidnap the princess of two Mafia organisations."

"They did." It was sothing that he would never agreed but Salvatore had made sure to check Evelyn’s room on his way out.

They had no sign of any kind of battle that might have happened in between her and her kidnapper. The must have knocked her out. With the prescriptions of dicines that he was taking at this point it would not have been difficult to exchange them.

Alfonso gulped a little with the team of n that he was sitting with before adding a few of his words. "I can make a list of enemies but I do not think that any one of them would violate the code. Won are never hard matter how severe the war might be."

"When soone hard her," Dante snapped, "and it is more likely to be soone who is an Ally and has been inside the house."

Only allies had been inside the house. When it ca to his father he would never let his mother co face to face with an animal that could recognise her by the facial features.

Alexis Alessandro would be one of the famous won in the world with the na she carried, but she was also one of those that were really photoed.

"Michelle," Salvatore moved to the enforcer, "where is he?"

"Coming in."

"Who?" Dante looked in between them. "Who are we talking about?"

"The don had asked to call Alejandro before he ca here."

Andro was soone that has succeeded Samantha as the hacker. The n might have the most aricanized thinking that Salvatore could think of what was loyal to the bone.

"Sir," he appeared on the door, popping his head through the door and looking at everyone with a smile, blissfully unaware of the tension in the room. "Hello."

One of the nastiest habits he had, was being on professional when it was needed the most.

"I want to track my wife."

Almost as if a switch went off, andro ca inside the room and set his gear up. Salvatore shared the the details about the tracking device that he had installed in his wife at before he knew it, Andro was on his way finding it out.

"It has to be soone new," Dante noted loudly in the silence. "Everyone who has been here for decades has the honor to never harm a woman or child. It has to be soone new who has no values and the common understanding which is why they attacked where it hurt."

"I think so." Salvatore agreed, his eyes on the table, " which is why we are not going to attached directly. I want to know what condition Evelyn is in first before we attack. If it calls for it, we attack to protect her. If it does not, we look for the boss first."

"are you sure, sir?" Alfonso looked at everyone before directing his eyes to Salvatore in speaking again, "don’t you think we should protect the donna first?"

Should they? He wondered.

She had been on the loose for two years without thinking of the recurrations, about what would happen if anyone ever found her without him.

Evelyn can enjoy the consequences of what it would be if she ran away from him and this ti he did not have his protection on her
