The self-restraint Khan had just started to employ crumbled at those words. He didn’t need to question the soldier any further to understand what he ant, either. Only one "them" existed at that point in ti.

Raymond also imdiately understood the vague ssage, but never got the chance to confer with Khan. The lab’s machines resud malfunctioning, snapping his gaze back to the testing room, only to find it empty.

Everything soon stabilized, leaving the poor ssenger too stunned to move. As for Raymond, he completely disregarded the soldier, looking at the open exit Khan’s forces had wisely set up in the lab beforehand.

"Is there a ride ready?" Raymond asked, holding back a sigh.

"Y-" The soldier stamred. "Yes, sir!"

"Bring there," Raymond ordered, knowing he would be late to what was bound to be one of the most significant etings in that war effort.

anwhile, Khan was already outside, rushing through the sky while doing his best to dress up mid-flight. Aynor’s transford environnt scrolled through his vision, showcasing the extensive recolonization of the white desert, but his destination stood beyond those occupied areas.

Khan flew until he reached the gargantuan cavity he had created during his fight against the True Chaos’ King before imdiately diving into it, ignoring the various new elevators attached to its edge, connecting the surface to a tall building on the bedrock.

The allied front needed a secure and private place to conduct the most crucial studies. Those tasks would also involve multiple species, and the Global Army couldn’t just set them up anywhere on Earth due to logistical reasons, making that cavity perfect for the job.

Khan landed on the bedrock in no ti, appearing before the entrance at the building’s base. Those tal doors instantly opened, but more unfolded in the anti.

A familiar, white, cold light shone before that open entrance, responding to Khan’s ntal state. Liiza’s figure soon solidified, alongside the sleeping Yeza in her arms. Her glowing gaze also went on Khan, who told her everything she needed to know with a simple look.

Liiza and Khan weren’t alone in their prompt response to that apparent incredible discovery. The space in another spot before the entrance twisted and vanished, replaced by so of the surface’s air, sand, and Lord Envoy’s figure.

Clearly, the Emperor was too dangerous to be allowed near such vital buildings, and no number of defenses could make the equipnt safe from his fearso existence.

Therefore, Lord Envoy took it upon himself to play ssenger. His experience and elent also made him perfect for the job, so perfect that he also reached a silent understanding with Khan through a simple look.

The trio, plus Yeza, didn’t waste ti on pleasantries and crossed the building’s entrance, making their way through its familiar insides to reach the area where they knew they would get answers.

The building had a central, wide room that featured the best technology each species in the allied front had to offer. The sa went for their experts, who stood before a giant holographic screen, staring solemnly at its conclusions.

Khan saw Abraham, Garret, a Fuveall whose na he didn’t quite rember, and one of the Kros’ tall tal spheres. That diverse group of experts basically embodied the best scientific division in the regulated universe, which the allied front had tasked with a single purpose.

A purpose those scientists seed to have fulfilled.

Of course, that wasn’t the entirety of the scientific division. Khan saw additional holographic screens engaged in calls with other experts. That truly had been a joint effort, but Khan could only care about its results now.

"Is it true?" Khan asked as the group began to turn toward the newcors. "Did you find them?"

Usually, Garret and Abraham would jump at the opportunity to deliver a prompt answer. Even if they didn’t have one, they would still greet Khan before taking their ti to delve into the topic.

Yet, nothing of the sort happened now, and that didn’t only apply to Garret and Abraham. The entire group of scientists remained silent, seemingly unsure how to address the issue, showing a confusion that the Kros’ mainfra surprisingly shared, too.

"We did, my Prince," Abraham eventually exclaid, "And we didn’t."

Khan knew that sothing like finding the Scarlet Eyes couldn’t be easy, but that answer didn’t give him anything to work with. However, his companions never relied on the scientists in the first place, reaching a conclusion on their own.

Liiza’s eyes widened, sending concerning waves of surprise to Khan’s brain. Even Lord Envoy looked sowhat troubled. The two of them had studied the main holographic screen as soon as they entered the room, and the data depicted there seed to have provided an answer.

Khan tried to do the sa before the general silence and hesitation, but the writings on the screen looked more foreign than the most difficult alien languages in the universe. He was awful at that scientific tongue, but her wife’s ntal state told him that the issue was serious.

"It wasn’t a teleport," Liiza muttered. "That was only a fraction of a greater ability."

"We can’t be sure, my Princess," Garret stated, "But the numbers do point in that direction."

"I can confirm it," Lord Envoy declared. "The spatial data is similar to one of my abilities. Though I can’t deploy it to such a magnitude."

Needless to say, Khan felt left out. Everyone seed to have understood what the issue was about and was even conversing about it, but he remained in the dark.

"Can anyone tell what’s going on?" Khan questioned, voicing a request that the tall Kros sphere ended up eting.

"Prince Khan of the Nognes family," The sphere said in its manufactured, robotic voice. "The True Chaos is everywhere and nowhere."

"You guys are supposed to clear my doubts," Khan reminded, "Not confusing even more."

"We followed the faint traces the True Chaos left after its invasion, my Prince," Garret intervened. "We followed them back to their source, only to encounter dinsional boundaries."

"What are these dinsional boundaries now?" Khan wondered.

"The limits of our reality," Liiza explained, "Of our physical universe. The True Chaos can pierce, exist, and settle beyond them."
