Liiza was too angry, jealous, and busy thinking of what to do with those green lips to realize they had landed on hers.
Moreover, that situation was similar to what Khan had experienced on rth 290 with the annoying Orlats. Jenna couldn't count as a threat to Liiza. The entire group of Nele couldn't, so Liiza disregarded their actions.
That changed when Jenna kissed Liiza. The latter widened her eyes in surprise, finally realizing what was happening. She instinctively pulled her head back, only for warm arms to wrap themselves around her neck, locking her in that intimate mont.
Liiza wasn't alone in her surprise. The group of Nele had forgotten about the ice around their feet and stared at the scene with wide eyes. Touching soone was a big deal for them, but a proper kiss surpassed their wildest expectations. They knew Jenna had been quirky in the past, but that still sounded to be too much.
Jenna didn't stop her kiss at a simple peck. Her tongue started to seep past her lips, only for an unstoppable force to pull her back, making her let go of Liiza and straighten her back.
"Slow down that naughty mind of yours," Khan warned, glaring at Jenna. "My wife is off limits."
"There was a ti when you would have enjoyed this," Jenna teased, glancing at Liiza. "He truly loves you."
Liiza was still a bit too shocked to process what had happened, and Khan didn't help. He reached for Liiza, also kissing her, seemingly planning to remove the mark Jenna had tried to leave on her.
Jenna was warr than Khan, but not to Liiza. The second kiss awakened her, reminding her to whom she belonged. It also brought back her anger and jealousy, making her pull Khan's hair to separate their heads.
"[This doesn't absolve you from anything]," Liiza scolded in her language, but Khan could see the softer vibes in her glare.
"[Just make up for now]," Khan sighed, and Liiza rolled her eyes, which ended up on Jenna.
"You must be Jenna," Liiza declared in her cold, detached tone, pushing Khan aside to face the tall Nele. "I'm Liiza, Khan's wife."
"I know who you are," Jenna smiled. "Khan thought about you whenever he held ."
Even Khan didn't know how that exchange would end. Liiza had already shown the full extent of her self-restraint by not killing everyone, and Jenna was Jenna. The Nele had probably cald down after Khan's departure, but he wouldn't bet on it.
"It's a pleasure to et Khan's one," Jenna continued, stretching her arm and pointing her palm upward. "Jenna."
Liiza looked at the stretched palm, now knowing what it ant. Still, that greeting sounded superfluous after Jenna had gone as far as kissing her. Also, she had another point to address.
All the accumulated ice in the area lted, vanishing into white trails of energy. The temperature also started to rise, but Liiza only grew more pissed, seemingly unwilling to do what she needed to do.
That unwillingness confused Khan, too, and Liiza managed to deepen it. She ignored Jenna's hand and perford a Niqols' bow, attempting to convey as much gratitude and respect as possible.
"Thank you for warming my husband's bed while I wasn't there," Liiza announced. "I know your ti together was brief, but you helped him greatly."
Jenna's teasing mood vanished at that earnest gesture, but her smile grew more genuine. She glanced at the stunned Khan before focusing on the bowing Niqols again, heaving a helpless sigh.
"I only tried to be a temporary redy while I pretended Khan was mine," Jenna exclaid, dismissing the complint. "I was never the solution. I could never be his one."
"You got through my husband's beautiful flaws," Liiza dismissed Jenna's dismissal. "That's sothing few people in the universe can claim to have done."
"Your husband has quite the unfair character," Jenna stated, "But he has earned all the happiness I can wish for him."
"I accepted it as my duty and blessing to provide him with that happiness," Liiza claid, breaking the bow and straightening her back. "Just like he swore to take care of mine until the rest of our days."
Khan didn't know what was happening, and part of him didn't want to know. The two won had started speaking a language of their own, with veiled threats and polite exchanges. They also found the ti to insult Khan a bit, which almost prompted him to leave.
Nevertheless, Khan felt that leaving would only worsen the situation, so he remained in his spot, wary about the worst-case scenario. The two won seed to have cald down, but Khan wouldn't risk trusting them.
"He does look happier," Jenna nodded, stepping forward, now that the ice was no more, to take Liiza's hands. "You have so of my jealousy and envy, as well as my bottomless gratitude."
Jenna and Liiza stared at each other, but the forr slowly started to lean forward, only for Khan to grab her dress to stop her again.
"Watch out with this one," Khan warned Liiza. "Never let your guard down."
"Since I can't kiss your wife," Jenna wondered, looking at Khan, "Should I kiss you?"
The temperature in the area instantly dropped again. Jenna was still holding Liiza's hands, so she didn't have to ask or sense where that cold ca from.
"Jenna," Liiza smiled, but her face carried no trace of emotion. "I allowed you to have a reunion with my husband. Kiss him now, and you'll beco unable to kiss anyone ever again."
"This is so exciting," Jenna giggled, her curious eyes darting between Khan and Liiza. "Teasing you two will be fun."
"You are impossible," Khan sighed, and sothing lit up on Jenna's face when she heard that, but Liiza's cold hands kept her grounded in reality.
Nevertheless, Jenna still did sothing, leaning forward to lay her head on Liiza's shoulder. Liiza didn't really know what to do, but sothing about Jenna reminded her of Tamara, so she instinctively patted her back.
"Since we are basically sisters," Jenna whispered, "Can I help you tease your husband every once in a while?"
"Sisters?" Liiza wondered before glancing at Khan, recalling her jealousy. "I guess I can allow that if I feel like punishing Khan more than usual."
