As far as battles went, nothing embodied the evolved realm like the one Khan was fighting. He had been thrown into space and flung across vast stretches of the sky. The clashes with the Great Old One could open the sea and shatter the world, and Khan wasn't an exception.

Khan had turned to protect his vital organs. He had even started to lift his left arm to shield his head, but the shockwave hit first. The ancient snake had turned its tail into an imnse whip, and snapping it generated an attack that defied speed and might.

The [Blood Shield] was the first to break. The black blood vessels exploded into bursts of clotted blood, which quickly turned into a dark mist as the shockwave kept raging.

The skin ca next. The shockwave squashed Khan's arm and side until his flesh gave in, opening like a series of rising scales. The attack started to push him away, but its damage wasn't over.

A cracking sound eventually resounded. Khan's arm kept bending until his elbow gave in and stopped keeping his forearm in the right place. The sa went for his wrist, and so of his fingers also snapped under the shockwave's pressure.

Khan then suffered from the greatest pressure his body had ever experienced. The shockwave kept peeling his skin off and attempted to crush his organs. Internal damage spread everywhere while Khan's body tried to hold strong, but there was no opposing that force.

Not through conventional ans, at least.

Khan bent alongside his broken arm, but his mouth opened to release an alien shout. Blood and saliva joined his clicking cry while raging mana burst forth, attempting to disperse whatever was crushing him.

anwhile, strands of mana ford and clashed inside his legs, giving birth to a force that could push him away from that dangerous situation. The energy inside his left dispersed, disturbed by the shockwave's power, but his right survived the clash, flinging him away.

Khan flew away, uncaring about picking precise directions. He crossed the sky at full speed before stopping when he escaped the shockwave's range. His body didn't work right, and checking it revealed most of its issues.

Khan lowered his glowing eyes as soon as he stopped, only to find a ss of torn clothes, misplaced bones, open flesh, and blood. His left arm hung lifelessly from his elbow, and deep injuries afflicted it as if soone had ripped it open with their bare hands.

Khan's left leg and side were in a similar state, albeit unbroken. Their skin had opened, forming irregular, deep cavities, and blood kept flowing, but they sohow worked.

Khan's face didn't remain unaffected by the clash. He couldn't see it, but he could feel it. His left cheek was on fire as if sothing sharp and rugged had scraped away many layers of it. His left ear also rang while warmth perated it, but his silver crown had sohow survived.

Nevertheless, the worst part ca from Khan's insides. He didn't feel too good. His abdon was hot, and his chest heavy. Abusing the [Blood Shield] to its limits had dealt a huge drawback.

Still, Khan could move and breathe fine. All things considered, the clash could have been worse. He had also fought in worse conditions, so the idea of retreating never crossed his mind. It wasn't possible anyway.

The ship was far away, and Khan had already lost track of it. Moreover, the Great Old One had chased after him, and its gargantuan body was close, slithering through the sky to charge at him.

A frontal clash was out of the question, or it should be, at least. Strategies and plans vanished from Khan's mind when he inspected the huge reptilian head flying in his direction. Blue blood and broken scales littered it, and a trace of anger also tainted the pale green waves in the symphony.

Khan was hurt, but so was the Great Old One. That imnse and seemingly divine creature wasn't invincible. It could bleed, so it could die, and Khan didn't need to know anything else.

The Great Old One opened its fanged mouth before it could reach Khan, and a green beam shot out of it. Its blue blood mixed with it, adding a profound aura to the attack.

Khan watched the attack grow closer by the second before a crazed expression took control of his face. A thunderous noise pierced the sky, and his figure shot forward at full speed, diving directly into the green beam.

The Great Old One interrupted the beam and began to close its mouth, but a figure shot out of the green light before it could disperse. Khan flew at the snake's face, throwing the lightning bolt in his right hand while continuing to shoot forward.

The lightning bolt hit the snake's nose, detonating onto a crackling sphere of destruction that expanded over its scales. Its skin rose and cracked, deepening the preexisting injuries. anwhile, Khan landed farther away, his right leg pointed at the center of the Great Old One's head.

Khan took a deep breath, and the world slowed down. A single centiter separated his toes from the scaled mbrane, but crossing that distance seed to take an eternity.

Then, the two touched, and Khan exhaled, adding a single word to give power to the technique. "Fall!"

The snake fell, and the world fell with it. An unstoppable force crashed on the Great Old One's head, pushing it down. The rest of its body was too big to be affected by the attack, but the sa didn't apply to the sea below.

The Great Old One was pushed down by several ters but ultimately managed to oppose the attack through sheer strength. anwhile, the sea below caved in. A circular, vast hole ford in that ss of raging waves, flattening anything in its range.

The ancient snake hissed angrily, but a purple-red light filled his giant right eye. Khan had already shot after it, unbothered by the trail of blood left in his descent. He only cared about stabbing his new lightning bolt, and another explosion soon unfolded.
