74 Growing Hate
BLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITZZZZZZ.
The ten people and two teams blasted forward with imnse speed as they imdiately entered into the teor Showering region, Zera's team quickly following behind Draggy's back.
Zeras looked at the sides where he saw the other five teams moving through the showering teor and he could see they were even moving faster than their group.
His gaze moved away from them as he jumped to the sides dodging a flaming teor before moving around and quickly catching up back with the group.
Due to the showering teors, the group had no options but to occasionally spread out to dodge individually then they'll once again align together behind Draggy before once again getting separated.
The fastest to dodge was strangely Draggy who looked as if he could already guess where the teor would land while the slowest person, struggling to dodge, was the boy in glass called Heavy. He was the slowest in the group but he wasn't left behind.
They weaved through the teor rain as the end was soon in sight and no type of attack was unleashed between the two groups due to both concentrating on dodging the teor.
Zeras felt sothing strange as he suddenly felt the speed of the teors accelerating in their region.
His eyes constricted to pin drops as he wondered if this was normal and probably due to them almost exiting the region when he looked at the other side and noticed they were doing just fine.
Zeras was imdiately attracted to one guy among them, who had his hands stretching back to their region and a blue light could be seen on them causing the teors to rain down faster than normal.
"An accelerating genetic ability?" Zeras muttered but he still didn't care as his speed suddenly increased even more. "Don't let hate get in your head and just focus on properly dodging, okay?..." The voice of Draggy rang out from the front as the group imdiately focused on dodging the stones to their best but there was soone who couldn't keep up.
Heavy moved around the showering teors as he tried to dodge as fast as he could, but he barely escaped with the skin of his teeth.
A teor slamd down towards him from above as he pressed himself to a stop causing the teor to land right in front of him and so pieces landed on his legs sending him skidding forward uncontrollably.
Another teor imdiately moved towards his head wanting to drill a hole into it, but he got a hold of himself as he quickly slid to the side, rolling on the blue platform, effectively dodging the second flaming teor.
His butt landed on the ground with a thud as he felt pain in them making him clench them tightly but that simple lapse of concentration was all that was required for a teor to appear just five centiters from his head.
Heavy sat down in shock unable to move a single inch as the gigantic object rapidly magnified in front of him and covered his whole vision.
Zeras looked around, seeing they were only four as he looked behind for the last person.
And there it is, a young man in glasses with a flaming teor extrely close to crushing him.
"Oh, shit..." Zeras scread out drawing the attention of others as they all turned their head backwards.
Quinn was attracted to Zera's shout as he looked behind him and saw Heavy almost getting crushed causing him to roll his eyes and disappear from where he stood.
The teor appeared before Heavy just a centiter from crushing when suddenly the phantom of a figure appeared in that split second as the teor slamd down on them sending stones and dust across the place.
When the group thought all hope was lost, a figure suddenly pierced out of the dust with Heavy in his hands in a princess carry.
It was Quinn.
They all breathed a sigh of relief as the duo quickly caught back to the group and Quinn dropped him down.
"So how does it feel to be close to death, huh..." Quinn asked loudly extrely curious while the group also unknowingly perked their ears too.
They were all New cadets and had all never died before in the ga. So their curiosity was piqued as they all wanted to know how it felt to be close to dying.
"I...I just went blank... Everything just pauses..." Heavy said, sweat still dripping down his forehead.
"That damn guy..." Heavy caused beneath his breath as flas almost burst out of his eyes. He almost got killed.
"If we had lost you, then it would have been a loss for our group. But since we didn't lose you, it's our win and their loss. Now we know what that guy in their group could do and we can prepare for any sneak attack again. So this exchange is our win guys..." Draggy said at the foremost front of the group causing Zeras to give a small approving nod.
It seems the guy possessed so brains too. Instead of growing angry as any other team leader would, he analyzed the situation and found a positive factor in it...
The group finally broke through the teor Showering region and arrived in the Black Hole region.
Looking at the second group which was at the front and showing the effect of the strange dark vortex, a smile appeared on the group's face as Elastic couldn't help but shout a sentence that made the group smile to their ears:
"It seems soone is about to get their revenge so soon..."
A wild grin broke out from Heavy's face as he looked at the group in front with a broken smile...
"How interesting..."
His eyes narrowed to slits as he stretched out one of his fingers towards the guy who accelerated the stones and almost got him killed.
His eyes closed, his hands outstretched waiting for the perfect timing when suddenly a dark vortex appeared beside the boy and a powerful grey wave of energy blasted out from Heavy's hand and slamd on the boy.
A strange expression appeared on Zera's face as he looked at the spine-tingling picture in front of him when suddenly a voice rang out through the entire space...
"Player teorite of Team B has been eliminated..."
