The thought of being able to finish the quest was sothing Zeras had threw to the back of his mind. Although he had truly went through hell to try and complete as many missions as possible in order to finish the quest.
But as ti goes farther and farther, he slowly lost hope, even though that didn’t stop him from working twice as hard as possible to complete the quest.
And now, it looks like all his hard work for three years is now being repayed.

“Three years, it’s been three years…” Zeras mused out loud as he looked at his face. Only now could he see that it had changed.
It was now sharper, more calr, more hairy and more handso.
“I have gotten away from the cultivation path from three years. But of I have to choose between the of three years ago with his full cultivation after three years and the right now. I know who I will choose…” Zeras mused with a smile as he rose up from the sink, grabbed a towel in the side and cleaned away the water on his face.
Arriving back in the room, he grabbed his phone off the table as he dialled the number.
“Hello Mr. Jim…”
“Hello Zeras. How have you been doing…”
“I would love to say great, but I’ve not been doing well Mr. Jim. I don’t know of you’ve picked on it but my health has been rapidly deteriorating since the last few weeks.
I’m thinking of going out for a check-up and would have to be absent from work for a week. I don’t know how you can help with that without affecting the work in the library…”
“You have absolutely nothing to worry about Zeras. Even though there’s an obligatory leave of rest for every librarian every week in three months.
Never for once have you used your leaves at all. And that is more than enough to show your enthusiasm about your work. Hearing you need a leave is a blessing to . Don’t worry Zeras, you can take a month off and resu whenever you like. Don’t worry about the library,. I’ll take care of it…”
“Thanks a lot Mr. Jim. I’ll be bringing back the key and opening the library before leaving for the check-up. See you soon and have a good day…” Zeras said before cutting of the call.
“That’s been secured. All I need now is to get going…” Zeras mused, but looking at the ti, it was around 12:59 PM in the middle of the night.
“I’ll rest for now and get going in the morning…” He decided as he headed to his bedroom and and less than 3 minutes later, the gentle snores peirced through the silence as Zeras drifted off to sleep.

Imdiately the golden sun appeared over the horizon, the white SUV rumbled to life as it drove out of the big gate of the bungalow and quickly disappeared among the hundreds of cars in the highway.
Even though it was very early in the morning. The Celestia Valley never goes quiet at all and one might even expect traffic as early as 5:00 in the morning.
Arriving before the library, it had as still tightly shut and Imdiately Zeras exited his car as he brought out the key from the pockets and Unlocked the door.
Opening up.tje revolving glasses, he entered as a wave of green emanated from the entrance walls and scanning him in their lights.
Finally he was permitted with entry and once again faced with the rows and rows of books…
For the past three years, he had been working an ordinary librarian in the library. And he really took the word seriously which earned him the great reputation that he had in the nerd area of the neighborhood.
The EIA for the past three years had never for once spoken to him nor called at all. It was as if they just no longer available exit. He had not even sighted an EIA official in a uniform for countless months now.

Zeras moved towards his desk as he unlocked it and brought out the various small pictures present in his desk.
Pictures of him and the rest of his colleagues, he rembered them well because they were the ones who had celebrated his birthday with him for the last three years.
‘My days in the EIA, when I look back at it now, was a sad and empty life. But the small three years that I live here are the only one who can put a smile on my face. And now I’m also saying bye to that too, soon, I’ll miss you guys…”
Zeras mused as he turked the small pictures inro his pockets…
“DIIIIIING”
The sound echoed out to Zeras as he turned to look at the direction and it was none other than Miara who hurriedly walked towards him, a worried expression on her face and he could strangely sense her breath a little out of control…
“Are you okay, Miara?” Zeras asked a bit surprised. This was the first ti he had seen Miara looking flustered before.
She ca to stand Just a few inches before him S she scrutinized him up and down a few tis before heaving out a silent sigg if relief.
“I heard that you would be taking so days offm I thought sothing was wrong. You never go in a break so why will you go on one now…” Miara asked as Zeras simply starred dazedly at her face before a smile appeared on his face.
“Thank you, Miara…”
“For what?”
“For Caring about . Thank you….”
