I don’t understand how I knew, but I could tell that the golden giant paled when Melissa’s eyes landed back on them..

Our group had caught them off guard with the earlier attacks and now they seemed on the ropes just from facing a very irate Melissa..

The golden giant seemed to be the only one of any use in this situation from what I could see..

The elf that had almost been turned to sludge was still terrified, trembling at the back..

The young man with auburn hair had already fainted, the heat seemed to have been particularly effective against him, as for the last one, well, she was just standing there, totally unbothered, her entire being seemed to exist on a different plane from the flames as no matter how hard they tried, they could never touch her form..

It wasn’t until I paid attention to her that I realized she was looking at me as well, a strange twinkle in her eyes, I couldn’t help raising an eyebrow at that.

Sure, with her white hair, beautiful face and body that didn’t in any way lose out to Melissa, she’d be a stunner wherever she went, but she was on enemy camp and I didn’t have the habit of flirting with my enemies..

The lady finally turned her attention from me as she looked at Mel..

"Melissa, can’t you just stop? At least for me?" Her voice was soft, soothing to the ears, her tone wasn’t arrogant or entitled, it was in fact a bit pleading..

I could see Melissa falter a bit, it seems she knew the young woman..

"Mira... even if it’s you, I can’t let that bitch go off scot free, she dared attack Dante, that’s a sin she should already be dead for.. do you wish to interfere as well?" Melissa’s cold eyes landed on the white haired beauty..

"Sigh... I’m not here to fight you Mel, in fact, we were not here to cause any trouble, it was merely an instinctive reaction to...Dante’s words, that made Eleanor act like that, you know how the elves from Yggdrasil take etiquette" the white haired beauty, Mira as Melissa called her, pleaded their case once more..

"Why she did it doesn’t matter to me, Mira, the fact that she dared to try and harm Dante is all I need to know" Melissa wasn’t budging an inch and I was loving every minute of it..

"Sigh... I didn’t want to do this, but you’re forcing my hand Mel" Mira spoke up once more, the golden giant seemed to have regained some strength as he got ready for another clash..

Melissa’s eyes turned colder, her flames turning darker and hotter, yet before she could act out..

"I’m cashing in that favor you owe Mel, let it go just this once, please!" The young lady, Mira, voiced out..

Melissa’s momentum faltered, I could see the visible struggle in her.

One part seemed adamant on punishing the elf, the other seemed to want to stay true to her words..

I couldn’t watch her make a painful decision whichever way she ended up choosing so, I stepped out of the protective dome..

Abyssal Firmament Dominion roaring to life as, Abyssal Authority Kicked in, the raging flames being snuffed out and devoured, their essence feeding into my energy reserves that were dwindling with each second I spent in this hellish scape..

I trudged on and before long, I was behind Melissa, my arms wrapped around her waist as I pulled her into a soft hug, my bare chest pressed firmly on her delicate back.

Her body relaxed subconsciously as she felt my presence..

"That was....Hot.." I whispered into her ears, her body shivering at the sensation..

"D..d..do..don’t do that..we’re in public.." she stuttered and just like that, her entire rampage collapsed, the fuel powering her flames seemingly dying out as a blush crept up her cheeks..

The entire surrounding seemed to exhale a breath of relief..

"Heh... you’re lucky we’re in public, otherwise..." I blew into her ear gently as I let her bubbly ass feel the raging erection I was carrying around..

Her blush deepened as all thoughts of raging murder or clash of ideals vanished from her head..

All that remained was my mushy and lovable Melissa..

I smiled inside, glad I could prevent her from making any rash decisions..

Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t give a fuck about any of those guys, I just didn’t want Melissa hating herself for betraying a favor since she seemed pretty close with the white haired Mira, despite being on clearly opposing sides..

"Damn.. you really are a goner aren’t you? A few words and the raging Flame Tyrant is put out of her rage? Who the hell is this??" Khalifa seemed genuinely shocked at Melissa’s reaction..

"Seems there’s a lot I need to learn about who Mel is in this place" I thought quietly.

Now, since the opportunity had presented itself, who was I not to take it?

"This, you crazy exhibitionistic elf, is a woman with a perfect, handsome, dashing and caring man to love and spoil her" I directed a pointed look at her, "something you wouldn’t understand since it’s clear you’ve been single since forever"...

A visible vein popped on her head once I finished..

"You bastard!! I’ll have you know, I’ve had lots of partners" she huffed, once again crossing her arms in defiance..

"Was that before or after you plucked out their eyes for ’staring’" I snickered...

"This...." The elf was instantly speechless..

"Hehehe... Khali, I told you didn’t I? Men like soft women, you’re too violent for your own good" Kaila laughed, enjoying her sister’s awkwardness..

"Even my own twin, betraying me, life is meaningless" she slumped..

"Oh, don’t get me wrong, I like myself a toned, six packed, badass voluptuous woman that knows to stand on businesses, she’s easily every man’s wet dream, especithe crazy ones" I winked at Khalifa..

"I can easily arrange that, it’ll be an experience you’ll never forget, I promise" I winked once again, eyes shamelessly roaming her voluptuous and curvy body. No really, those proportions should be illegal..

"You...you..." Khalifa pointed at me with trembling fingers, her expression furious and embarrassed and stunned all packed into one chaotically charming face..

"Ouuu..ouuu... what about me" an eager voice drew my attention, as I turned around to find an overeager Cara raising her hand like a preschool kid, she seemed to be having the time of life, the wide smile on her face spoke volumes..

Yet before I could reply and maybe steal another kiss or two..

"Get your hands off her, you filthy piece of trash" a voice rudely interrupted us..

"Ahhhh... here we go again"

Man, I was so done with all this bullshit...
