I watched as the two demons I’d sent flying turned in midair, landing effortlessly..

"Well then, allow me to humor you for a moment" I readied myself, waiting for the demon to make his move..

The demon was fast, but nothing I couldn’t deal with, at least that’s what I thought...

A skull cracking punch connected with the side of my head as I was sent skidding back a few tens of feet...
"Huh??" The confusion was immediate..
"Hoho... quite the tough one aren’t you? Taking a blow from me, yet you’re still standing" the demon was saying something that my mind couldn’t register..
I had seen the demon move, I had seen the incoming punch, so how the hell was I unable to counter or even dodge it?
"Try this on for size" the foul creature made his move once more..
"Left rib" I moved backwards, intent fully on dodging the blow, yet...

Another heavy punch was driven straight into my ribcage...
"How???" The pain wasn’t even registering, the two attacks having done little to no damage, yet my confusion wasn’t getting cleared...
"Hahahahaha... I like when my prey is durable, makes things exciting, now, let’s see how you deal with this." From then on, it was a flurry of attacks that rained on me..

I could see the attacks...
