Ruvon stiffened, her breath caught halfway in her throat. On the giant screens, they could see the ga’s system interface floating next to Jasper, other testers.

It was true.

She watched as the system’s holographic interface floated beside Jasper. The fox-eared boy hadn’t even flinched—he just gave a bored flick of his wrist, like this was old news to him and so did the girl with the staff.

The display shifted again.

Another tester appeared: a human boy kneeling in the grass, clutching the still-pulsing core of a dead wolf. His hands were trembling slightly, blood staining his cuffs. Above him, new lines of text shimred into view:

[In-ga cores can now be harvested for mana. Upon reaching Ga Level 20, players can take cores into the real world!]

[Due to the ti dilation between the ga world and reality, exported cores will be of higher rank!]

The words flashed to the entire hall and everyone watching in the mortal realm.

This ti, it wasn’t just a murmur.

The entire Obsidian Hall seed to shudder with noise—people surging to their feet, chairs scraping the floor, voices rising sharply.

Ruvon could hear it around her: the snapping of fans, the clatter of jewelry as rchants leaned forward.

Beyond the hall, the billboards flashed the sa revelation. She could just barely catch glimpses of them through the transparent glass walls—the entire capital was watching.

On distant balconies, mortals pressed their faces to the railings. In the streets, traders abandoned their stalls. Even the clubs emptied out, patrons staring up at screens mounted over doorways.

It was like the entire city forgot how to breathe at once. Or perhaps it was the entire realm.

A cold, electric thrill ran through Ruvon’s chest.

Another source of mana cores.

It would change everything.

Not just for struggling awakened clawing up the lower Ranks. Even those who had been stuck at the sa threshold for decades... they could rise again. Grow stronger, richer, faster.

This wasn’t evolution.

This was revolution.

And then, the voice in her mind, Ruvon, spoke, sharp and urgent:

> [Listen carefully. Play that ga, no matter the cost. I can sense it—deeper secrets buried under it all. Fragnts of the Mortal Realm from before the Sundering. Secrets that gods would kill to own. This isn’t just about power anymore. It’s sothing far worse—and far greater.]

____

Up front, the hall had turned chaotic.

The testers—including Jasper—had exited their capsules, looking dazed but exhilarated. Two Obsidian Tech employees in sharp black uniforms rushed forward, strapping crystalline devices onto their arms.

Everyone fell silent, watching.

The devices pulsed with color... then displayed the results midair for all to see.

Gasps tore through the audience—raw, stunned.

The testers’ real-world Ranks had risen. Visibly. Tangibly.

No rumors. No marketing lies. It was real.

The leaders who had been stuck at Rank 20 for a lifeti stared at the glowing numbers like they were hallucinating. Whispers broke out—wild, frantic.

Then a woman—Esralda, the Obsidian vice—stepped onto the stage, raising a hand for quiet.

Her voice cut clean through the uproar:

"As you have seen, your power increases in the real world as you play. And there are no limitations. No matter your current Rank." She let the words hang in the air like a spell. For the leaders who had been stuck at bottlenecks for decades, it was like being handed a second life.

This wasn’t a ga anymore.

It was a new world war, and House Obsidian had just fired the first shot.

Pyris adjusted the cuffs of his new suit, ready to grace the audience once again, when a sudden flash lit up the screen in front of him. His eyes widened.

"You’ve got to be fucking ."

[Ding! You’ve been summoned into the ga: Godly Realms Online, Secrets of Godly Realms awaits you! The Host has been summoned by the goddess as one of the testers! Beat the best results of all testers. Rewards await!]

Before he could even curse again, the ground disappeared beneath him. He plumted headfirst into the flow. The world ripped out from under him. Pyris didn’t even have ti to swear before he was dragged down, like a puppet yanked off the stage.

__

The void slamd into him like a predator welcoming its prey. It was cold — not the kind that prickled the skin, but the kind that sank into bone and mory. Pyris drifted in the endless dark, arms loose at his sides, a smirk tugging at his lips.

The void pulsed, alive, ancient, and starving. It gnawed at his mind, whispering sweet promises of oblivion. Pyris laughed, low and mocking.

"Back so soon?" he muttered.

It was the sa suffocating emptiness he’d known once before — when he’d just died and the Goddess of Lust ca for his soul. Back then, he’d been young, stupid enough to mistake her pink divine aura for gold. A rookie mistake.

Now? Who knew what fresh hell this was.

[Welco to the Godly Realms Online, Player! Forget your class, titles, wealth, or bloodline — none of it matters here. Rise from nothing to godhood, or fall from royalty to a servant’s rags under the feet of those who clawed their way to the top. Misery or paradise — the choice is yours.]

Typical. If it hadn’t been so shalessly clichéd, Pyris might have doubted it was her handiwork at all.

"Shoot away!"

[The ga’s ti is set Eons of the Godly Realms ago where there were no limits imposed on the Mortal Realm, when entering the Immortal or God Realms was only determined by your talent and potential: By your own making! Player should be reminded again; this is an opportunity to either be a servant to the strong or the strongest who owns everything!

[Warning: No more information can be given! Player, choose your player na and class!]

Pyris stared as a white screen floated up from the void. His reflection blinked back at him — bored, slightly amused.

He tapped his chin. "Does this ga trace way back to when immortals and gods lood the mortal realm? I can encounter and conquer immortal ladies and goddesses?"
