Pyris stepped into the lavish Obsidian Tech headquarters, the hum of activity filling the air. He adjusted the cuffs of his tailored suit as his eyes swept over the sleek, glass-paneled lobby, his vibe scread the fantastic night he had yesterday.

Employees hustled about, engrossed in their tasks, while a soft, ambient light gave the space a serene atmosphere. It was just past noon, and the bustling rhythm of the office was in full swing.

He had barely made it to the elevator when a familiar figure caught his eye—Esralda Count Dracula. Dressed in her signature black suit that clung to her curves, she stood by the reception desk, casually flipping through so docunts.

The elegant but dangerous aura she exuded was unmistakable. She turned her head slightly, her vampiric crimson eyes locking onto his with a knowing glint.

"Well, look who we have here," Pyris said with a teasing smirk, stepping toward her.

The employees nearby by to his presence, Esralda's lips curved into a smile, a spark of mischief dancing in her gaze. "Always a pleasure, Boss. Shall we head up?"

Others could tell the friendly relationship the two had.

The elevator ride was short but silent. As the doors slid open, they made their way toward Pyris's personal office—a sleek, minimalist space that reflected his sharp personality. It was here that the two of them had their most private discussions, away from prying eyes.

Pyris gestured for her to take a seat on the plush leather couch while he headed toward his desk. Esralda crossed one leg over the other, a gesture that wasn't lost on Pyris. The mory of their previous celebration after a successful deal resurfaced in his mind—the night at the bar, where drinks had flowed freely, and their chemistry had been undeniable.

They had toasted to their shared victories and shared more than just a few lingering glances.

Pyris shook his head slightly, snapping himself back to the present. There was business to discuss today, although the mory of that night lingered like a sweet aftertaste.

"So, where are we with the ARGO VRMMORPG launch?" Esralda's voice was all business now, but there was a certain warmth to it. She had always been able to switch between sultry and professional with ease.

Pyris leaned back in his chair, eyes sharp as he began to explain the progress. "Everything's on track. The empires, major organizations, and academies are eagerly anticipating its launch. Their interest is piqued, given the scope and imrsion ARGO promises to bring. Selene's family has even expressed interest in collaborating with us for future projects."

Esralda's eyes glead with satisfaction. "Perfect. We can't afford any mistakes with this. The stakes are too high, and the pressure from the major players is imnse."

They continued their conversation, diving into the nitty-gritty details of the launch. Ti passed quickly, and before they realized it, hours had gone by. A light knock on the door interrupted them, signaling that the food they had ordered had arrived.

Pyris stood, walking over to the door. The attendant wheeled in a tray laden with exquisite dishes—filet mignon, fresh seafood, and a selection of fine wines. The scent of the food filled the office, and Pyris gestured for Esralda to join him at the small dining table in the corner.

"Seems like our etings always end with a good al," Esralda remarked as she took her seat, her tone laced with amusent.

Pyris chuckled. "It's tradition at this point, isn't it?"

As they ate, their conversation flowed easily, shifting from business to more personal matters. Every now and then, their eyes would et, and the chemistry between them was palpable, but unspoken. There was sothing in the air between them, a tension that neither had fully addressed but both acknowledged.

As they neared the end of their al, Mira entered the room with an air of urgency. She had promised to follow Pyris wherever he went, but this was more than just a routine report. Her eyes held a seriousness that caught Pyris's attention imdiately.

"Pyris," Mira began, her voice low, "I've found out sothing critical about Silas."

Pyris leaned back in his chair, narrowing his eyes. "Go on."

Mira glanced at Esralda, who remained silent but clearly interested. "Silas isn't working alone. He's tied to soone—a dangerous, mysterious individual whose influence rivals that of an empire. Whoever this person is, their reach is vast, and they've been pulling strings behind the scenes."

Pyris's mind raced. This complicated matters. He had expected Silas to be a challenge, but if he was working with soone this powerful, things were far worse than he anticipated.

"That's not all," Mira continued. "Their goal is far larger than just the Sly Mines. They want to disrupt the balance of power in the realm—especially the Dragon and Vampire empires."

Pyris clenched his fist under the table. He had no intention of being caught in a three-way war between the dragon empire, the vampire empire, and this shadowy figure backing Silas.

He needed to find a way to shift the balance in his favor, to remove at least one major player from the board.

"And here I thought we had our hands full with just the Dragon Imperial Family and Silas," Pyris muttered. His voice was calm, but there was a sharp edge to it.

Mira nodded gravely. "If Silas succeeds, it won't be long before this mysterious force makes a move on the vampire empire as well. They could be planning to push Dracula aside."

Pyris's eyes darkened. He couldn't afford to let that happen. If the vampires were destabilized, the entire region could fall into chaos, and it would make his own plans infinitely harder to achieve.

He turned to Esralda, who had been quietly absorbing the information. "Looks like we need to make a move. We need to convince Dracula to abandon Silas and, if possible, to sell his shares in the mines to us."

Esralda tilted her head, intrigued. "And how do you plan to do that? Dracula isn't easily swayed."

Pyris smirked. "Everyone has a price. We just need to find what he wants most—sothing that benefits not just him, but his entire empire. And once we do, we'll offer it to him on a silver platter."

Mira added, "And when Dracula sees the evidence of Silas's betrayal—that he's working for soone planning to take over the vampire empire—he'll have no choice but to betray his brother. Self-preservation always cos first."

Esralda leaned back, a satisfied smile on her lips. "You've always been a master at this ga, Pyris. Let's hope Dracula is as pragmatic as we think he is."

Pyris stood, his mind already racing with the next steps. This was no longer just about business. It was a fight for control, for survival, and for dominance over the two empires. And if anyone could pull it off, it was him.

"Let's make our move," Pyris said, his voice filled with resolve.

The ga had begun, and Pyris Obsidian was ready to play, he looked at the ti and smirked, by this ti, his mother was carrying out his request.

"Why that smirk?" Esralda felt intrigued.
