Capítulo 1458: Chapter 456: I Don’t Want to Talk About a Dog

“I’m afraid not, LeBron. Even if I shut up, the fans will always rember that you never beat . Sorry, that’s a fate you can never defy.”

You have to admit, in Ga 4 of the series the Lakers played really well. Sasha Vujacic was on fire today, hitting consecutive shots from beyond the three-point line.

His presence gave the Lakers better offensive spacing.

After eight minutes into the first quarter, LeBron Jas ca on the court.

Phil Jackson didn’t plan to freeze Jas outright but also didn’t want to make Kobe angry, so he relegated him to a substitute.

He hoped Jas and Kobe could make an impact during rotation ti.

This was his last chance for redemption. If he perford well as a substitute, Phil Jackson would gradually increase his playing ti, believing that Kobe wouldn’t say much then.

However, the guy who kept saying he’d take it ga by ga and work double-ti had no action whatsoever coming off the bench.

To be honest, can we really expect any performance from Jas who was demoted to substitute?

Mike Breen shook his head sarcastically: “Well, LeBron seems pretty suited to the bench role.”

In the end, LBJ only scored 7 points, 4 assists, and 7 rebounds, while Kobe scored 37 points, but the Lakers still lost by 3 points.

The Western Conference Finals end here, 4 to 0, Roger continued his undefeated playoff record this season!

Almost all Arican fans cheered at the end of the ga, because basketball’s biggest villain got the ending he deserved.

LeBron Jas, that traitor, the one who desecrated the competitive spirit, the one who always promised but never delivered, beca the biggest loser of this series round.

At that mont, LeBron Jas completely lost the chance to be compared with “greatness.”

At the end of the ga, he rarely showed grace, turning directly and leaving the court.

Instead, it was Kobe who liked to leave directly in the past who shook hands with Roger, because he knew it was the last ti: “Get lost, bastard, go far away and never co back.”

“Rest assured, this is the last ti you’ll shake hands with as an opponent on the basketball court.”

“Nothing more to say, you won, go get that damn championship.”

“I’m surprised you don’t want to chat about LeBron.”

“I’m not one to make excuses, and I didn’t stop him from joining back then. Ultimately, we all have to bear the consequences of our choices.”

“Goodbye, Kobe, I’ll miss you. Besides MJ, only you could give a bit of a challenge.”

“Never see you again, bastard.”

Embrace, turn away, the story of No. 14 and No. 15 cos to a close, Roger achieved absolute dominance over Kobe—he didn’t let Kobe beat him even once in the playoffs.

But soon, Roger turned back: “Oh no, it’s not ti to say goodbye yet.”

“What? You want to invite to dinner? Forget it, Roger.” Kobe waved his hand.

“No, good luck at the Olympics this sumr, Kobe.”

At that mont, Kobe felt a chill down his spine, scarier than Sadako crawling out of the TV. For the first ti since he started playing basketball, he felt so intensely that he didn’t want to face soone again.

At the post-ga press conference, reporters mostly asked questions related to the Finals.

Currently, the New York Knicks are already leading 3 to 0 over Nash and T-Mac led Orlando Magic, and they have similarly maintained an undefeated streak thus far.

It is foreseeable that Magic Team won’t have any good way to deal with the Knicks in G4 either.

So the upcoming Finals will likely be a matchup between undefeated teams.

Among a bunch of questions related to the Finals, a reporter suddenly asked: “Roger, do you think LeBron will stay in Los Angeles next year? If he doesn’t stay in Los Angeles, where will he go?”

Roger was puzzled by it: “Why are we discussing a dog with its tail between its legs at this ti? We know Kobe has tried his hardest, Dwight has tried his hardest, Chauncey has tried his hardest, even Vujacic was too busy to care about his hairstyle till the last mont. And LBJ? He’s just a coward who runs away with his tail between his legs when it matters. Discussing him here is the biggest disrespect to other Lakers players.”

“Is this your final assessnt of LeBron?”

“Believe , I can’t think of better words.”

The next day, the latest issue of “Sports Illustrated” had Roger on the cover again; he was wearing a Warriors jersey, holding a dog leash, and the leash was tied to a dog with its tail between its legs.

The headline was unorthodox: Apologize? Ha.

This was in response to the earlier “Sports Illustrated” calling it LeBron Jas’s epitaph when Jas demanded an apology from “Sports Illustrated” for the event.
