Hearing the bathroom door opening, Scarlet looked up abruptly, looking excited to see them return only to drop back down on the sofa, recalling she was supposed to pout on them.
Humph.
She made sure they would hear her act, looking in the opposite direction with her chin raised high.
"Scarlet? What happened?" Dongi questioned as they walked up to her. "Where are Daisy and Lily?"
Scarlet turned to them abruptly and puffed her cheeks, glaring at them unhappily.
"You know what you did! No need to ask!" Scarlet scolded. "We could hear everything you did the whole ti!"
Dongi and Wuxing didn't look surprised at all which angered Scarlet even more.
Why was she even mad? She didn't know herself but she was so that what's mattered.
"We are sorry…" Dongi apologized sincerely, leaning down over the sofa to give Scarlet a tight hug. "I couldn't stop myself so I ended up forcing myself on Chaleon. I'm sorry you had to hear it…"
Humph.
Scarlet would not accept her apologies so easily this ti.
"Daisy and Lily were so embarrassed they excused themselves and left. I was forced to sit and listen to your moans the whole ti…" Scarlet complained, avoiding Dongi's kisses.
"We were inconsiderate of you. We are sorry," Wuxing added to the apologies as he sat down next to her and squeezed his hand, "How can we make it up to you?"
Scarlet's eyes lit up at that but she didn't show it on her face, pretending she didn't listen to him.
Only after a mont did she look at him upset and asked cutely, "Can I ask for anything…?"
"Well, you can ask for anything but if its sothing I can't do then you will need to pick sothing else," Wuxing replied realistically.
Scarlet already had sothing in her mind.
"I want a hundred coupons for hugs from you! And all of them has to be at least one minute long!"
Wuxing's eyes widened at her request and Dongi didn't seem to be different, also weirded out.
"Scarlet, don't you think it's too much? How about ten?" Dongi negotiated in Wuxing's place.
He agreed with her. "Ten sounds like a reasonable number."
Scarlet squinted her eyes and squeezed his hand.
"Fifty," she demanded.
"How about we et in half? Twenty five. That's my final offer," Wuxing proposed, giving her a smile as if he was enjoying negotiating with her.
"Fine! But I want private training sessions with you," Scarlet countered.
"Alright, deal."
Scarlet imdiately brightened when the deal got completed, showing the usual smile.
"You don't want anything from big sis?" Dongi asked as she rubbed Scarlet cheeks. "After all, it's all my fault."
Scarlet didn't act shy anymore and looked up, pleading, "Can I have a fruit salad please?"
"Sure. The kitchen seems to be stocked so I will cut so fruits for us," Dongi agreed without problems. "Are we still watching the movie? We still have so ti."
It was still early evening so they could spend so ti for relaxation.
"Yes. I have been waiting for a long ti," Scarlet pointed out, wrapping her hands under her chest in impatience.
"We will start in a second," Dongi assured while patting her on the head and walked towards the kitchen.
"What do you want to watch?" Wuxing suddenly asked, grabbing the remote.
Even though the TV had no signal, there were hundreds of newest movies already pre-installed and ready to play.
"There are so new series we can watch. How I t your Father, Ryan Morgan: Love Contract, Spider—" he began reading the titles out loud but she quickly chose the second option.
"Ryan Morgan, please!" She called out excitedly as she grasped onto his free arm, hugging it into her chest. "It's aweso!"
"Oh, you know this series?" Wuxing asked curiously. "I think I heard of it sowhere. It seems it just started. There are only three episodes."
"I don't know the series, I didn't watch it yet but I read the novel not long ago which the series is based off," Scarlet replied, casually leaning on his body. "It's so good!"
"Oh, what is it about?"
Wuxing clicked on Ryan Morgan series to read the included information but Scarlet was quicker, describing the plot for him.
"It's about a student who can inherit his grandma's company but under one condition, he needs to find a girlfriend. The only problem, he has a certain dical condition where he loses control over his urges whenever won touch him. It's so funny."
"Did he find a girlfriend?" Wuxing asked for spoilers but Scarlet didn't fall for his trap.
"Hehe, I won't tell," Scarlet giggled as she poked him on the nose playfully. "You will have to read it for yourself. I can only say his mother gave him a file with three partner candidates he can choose from. He is naturally against it at first but she guilt trips him into giving it a try. I'm still early in the book as I couldn't finish it but I already love it!"
"My brother who read it said the novel has a lot of twists and turns. You can never guess what will happen. What's more, it's a fantasy romance! I still can't believe him about it. What fantasy elents could the author include in the modern world," Scarlet added passionately. "My brother ntioned sothing about vampires but I can't see that happening.
I will have to finish it when I have so spare ti."
"Well, then it's decided," Wuxing announced, clicking on the first episode and paused it before it started, waiting for Dongi.
"Hey…" Scarlet suddenly whispered, putting her face close to his own. "What did you talk about with big sister for so long?"
"Hmm? Did you hear anything we talked about?" Wuxing questioned.
"I heard you ntioned Anna and Katherine… Is sothing happening? You shouldn't forget about …"
Wuxing paused, not replying for a mont so she reached out to his face, tilting it so their eyes could connect.
She saw confusion and uncertainty in his eyes.
"Was that everything you heard?"
His question made her worried.
"Yes," she replied honestly.
Scarlet wasn't soone who would eavesdrop on people but the girl's nas dropped many tis.
"Well, it's sothing private between and Anna. I don't want to talk about it before I et with her," Wuxing replied with complicated emotions on his face.
Scarlet guessed it was a sensitive topic. Wanting to cheer him up, she moved to sit across his lap and hugged into his chest without saying anything.
"What are you doing?" Wuxing asked as he raised his arms upward.
"I'm using my coupon."
