Wuxing only smiled and asked politely, not bothered by Scarlet's brother suspicious gaze, "Shall we talk in private?" Scarlet quickly stood up from the bed and agreed with a smile, "Yes, naturally." The appearance of Chaleon confird everything that Wuxing was talking about which made her really happy.
"Sis, who is this man…?" Scarlet's brother imdiately asked, not that sure about Wuxing's intentions. He was already against any handso n that were approaching her sister and the Chaleon in front of him was especially dangerous in this aspect.
"Don't worry, he is working with my boss. We will just talk about work." Scarlet assured him as she patted her brother's head and Wuxing confird it, easing the boy's thoughts, "Yes, I have so news from him."
"I will be back in a mont." Calling out to him, Scarlet finally left with Wuxing and the first thing she asked after closing the doors was about his well-being, "Uhmm… Is he fine…?"
Wuxing knew she was talking about him but nodded, acting like real Wuxing's partner, "Yes, he is fine. I got sent here to make sure that you will attend the selection. We want you in our future team as we think you have potential."
Hearing that she would be in Wuxing's future team she couldn't help but blush and mutter, "I'm honoured…" She already began acting in that direction so she inford, "I already decided to go and I even took care of my brother's surgery so that he can be discharged earlier."
Wuxing smiled, checking with Devil Face if there is anyone listening to them and said, "I know, I already had a conversation with that doctor. You shouldn't have the problems with it anymore. Please refrain from using your body as a way to win soone's favours. Boss wouldn't be happy with that."
"I'm sorry… I just thought—" As he sounded as if he was scolding her, Scarlet apologised but Wuxing cut her off while assuring her, "Don't worry, I'm not scolding you. We will teach you everything you need to know later on. Give your contact information and we will et in a week. We can both travel for the selection together. What do you think?"
This was just the contact and the Chaleon in front of her knew everything so she did not hesitate to give him her phone number, "Yes, that would be a great help. Thank you, Mr Chaleon."
Having her information, Wuxing didn't stay for much longer, letting her spend the ti with her brother, knowing she wouldn't et him often after joining Seven Stars, "I will be leaving then. Say hi to your brother from . He seems to care a lot about you. Spend the last week with him."
He didn't wait for her response and simply left after saying what he had to. When he left the hospital though, he received a question from Devil Face, 'Why do you attach such importance to her? She is just a normal person. It will be years before she can reach your level.'
Wuxing had a quick response to that and replied, 'It's because she is pure and can be easily taught without any disturbance from her experiences. She has great talent and we can train her into one of the best. She just needs correct guidance.'
Devil Face still didn't understand this and argued, 'But she still isn't an ability user like you or Anna and Katherine. She will find it hard to adapt after half a year if she stays with you guys. How do you expect her to survive an event that is only ant for Ability Users? She will just be a burden.'
Thinking for a mont, Wuxing distanced himself from the hospital and sat down in the park, asking, 'Can you finally tell what event it will be? I can't plan anything without knowing what are you planning.' He had many ideas but without all the details he was very limited.

'After so thoughts, I already figured out what was happening with Dongi's ability. I think it's her mother that belongs to the older generation of Ability Users but she already started to transfer her ability onto Dongi.

This made Wuxing nod in satisfaction, happy that he wouldn't need to leave Dongi and thought to himself, 'So Dongi will also beco an Ability User… Perfect. For Scarlet, we can just find another Spirit who will be willing to connect with her.'
This made Devil Face alard as he quickly warned Wuxing, revealing so secrets, 'Whoa, hold on. Let tell you sothing. All Spirits already connected with their own Ability User. Unless you kill them, the Spirit won't be freed and I doubt they would be happy with their user being killed.'
'I know. I guess we will have to slowly figure that out later. As long as there is a possibility, there is a way.' Wuxing replied as he finally stood up and wandered with his thoughts to Dongi, imagining how she was doing, 'I wonder how is Dongi right now… I guess she already arrived at her ho. It has been so ti already.'

At the sa ti, in the Guan Family's mansion, Dongi and her parents already arrived ho. As Dongi was still sleeping, Guan Dong carried her into her old room as his wife ordered, "Place her on the bed. She only needs to rest now."

Guan Dong couldn't help but shake his head to chase those thoughts away. He was only hoping that his parents will be understanding this ti, putting into account that they always liked to spoil their granddaughter.
Back in the room, Guan i didn't wake Dongi up and instead laid down behind her, embracing her daughter into her arms before finally calling out in her mind, 'You can start the final transformation.'
'Are you sure you want to put your daughter through this? The upcoming event will be really dangerous.' Layla asked to confirm once again, knowing the procedure she would perform would be final.
Guan i didn't take long before agreeing, 'Yes. Although it's dangerous, the benefits are boundless. She also had Wuxing who will stay by her side. Let's do it.' Layla didn't say anything after that and simply began the procedure.
Just as she started, Guan i felt as if her soul was being ripped apart, causing imnse pain but she persisted, knowing there was no other way for the two to be together, other than this.
