Countless sounds of few tens of gagged gangsters filled the room but Wuxing only needed to shoot once into the floor to silence all of them. After knocking everyone out, Wuxing pilled everyone in one room, emptying the whole base from the gangsters.
Everyone was very confused after waking up, not knowing why would their boss lock them all like this but the worker stayed quiet, not explaining that it was just a mask.
Turning to the last worker who was helping him all this ti, Wuxing called out, "Alright, lay down together with them, I will handcuff you." Even though the guy was really helpful, there was ti for everyone. The worker didn't complain, knowing that Wuxing wasn't soone who would ask twice and quickly let himself get locked in place.
'Okay, the job is done. Now all I need to do is wait. If I was correct, they have a mole in the Police, probably soone of high status who acts in their favour. After the death of that gangster, he is bound to visit the base to warn the boss.'
'What about the other ten that stays in the restaurant? They should be coming back soon.' Devil Face asked after going out of his way to scan the area.
'Then I will take care of them the sa way like with those guys. I still can't believe this actually worked.' Wuxing only shrugged and walked out of the room, going up to the money that was all over the floor now, blew up in the air after the rainfall of bullets.
Even though it was dirty money earned through drug selling, he still needed so to survive for the next week. He had to experint a lot with his ability so he would naturally spend a lot of money on food. Earning money by robbing criminals was quite satisfying for Wuxing so he wasn't bothered at all when he grabbed a few stacks of ten thousand dollars into his pockets.
Those who bought drugs were also in the wrong so it wasn't like they deserved to have this money back. Wuxing calculated how much money he needed for his future expenses and knew it would be enough as he reached for the sixth stack of banknotes.
"Ugh—!" Too bad that when he was just about to pick it up, his body suddenly shuddered and he felt pain all over his muscles as if soone was sucking his energy out of him.
'W-what is going on?!' Wuxing asked in his mind as he dropped to the floor on one knee, feeling very weak. He looked at his hands and found out that they suddenly started losing colour and soon enough, he could actually see right through his hand.
'My hand turned invisible!' Wuxing imdiately called out, sounding more excited than troubled. For so reason, he thought it was Devil Face's doing and Wuxing was right as Devil Face suddenly cursed, 'Fuck, Katherine and Anna are coming! They are scanning the area, we need to get going before their radar reaches us! I had to use one of the evolutions to hide us from them.'
At that very mont, not only his hands were invisible but his whole body together with his suit also disappeared as well. Wuxing had many questions he wanted to ask right away but Devil Face didn't give him this privilege, ordering, 'Run! With our combined energies, I can only keep this state for one minute! Don't waste it and get as far away! Use the bank entrance as they are going to a restaurant.
We will talk later.'
Even when Devil Face did not finish talking, Wuxing already moved, forgetting the last sum of money and lifted himself with troubles. He was feeling unwell from the sudden loss of energy but he was slowly regaining so of it. Wuxing didn't know that but Devil Face actually gave him a favour, using only a small chunk of Wuxing's energy while almost emptying his own tank.
Knowing that Devil Face will explain the situation after he is safe, Wuxing didn't dilly dally anymore and ran towards the second exit that led to the actual bank. His energy was slowly stabilizing so he could allow himself to jog.
Entering into the Boss' room, Devil Face led him to the bookcase and said hurriedly, 'Pull the second book from the left on the topmost shelf!' Wuxing did exactly that and the bookcase moved, opening widely like doors, exposing a hidden corridor behind it. There was an elevator inside of it and a staircase upstairs. Wuxing naturally chose the staircase, knowing he didn't have ti.
Wasting more than five seconds to climb to the zero floor, Wuxing finally found himself inside the staff area of the bank where many staff mbers were walking around with folders in their hands. As he ran forward, no one bothered to glance at him as if he wasn't there.
It would be strange if Wuxing didn't get excited with such developnt. After all, if Devil Face can perform such tricks, wouldn't he be able to do the sa in the future? The sheer thought of turning invisible on a whim had a powerful effect on him.
He ran while bypassing many people and sohow left the bank, still having about twenty seconds of his ti. He had to quickly find a place to hide before he reappears.
'Huh?' Just as he left, he suddenly saw many policen walking up to the bank which distracted him for a second. They passed by him without seeing him before entering the bank and blocking its entrance. Wuxing was lucky he left a second ago else he would be locked inside.
Unfortunately, he couldn't think about it for too long as Devil Face quickly interrupted him, crying out, 'Fifteen seconds!' Wuxing disregarded everything around him and instead of walking down the giant stairs, he jumped off to the side, dropping about five ters straight on the sidewalk before rolling forward to absorb the fall.
He almost knocked another man, managing to sohow dodge him by a few centitres before continuing his run to not be exposed in the middle of the street with all the people around him. He had very little choices of where to go so he dashed straight into the first clothing shop right in front of him.
'I can't hold it any longer!' Devil Face hurried him just as Wuxing entered into a shop, which forced him to increase the pace.
'Fuck! All are taken!' Wuxing cursed when he saw that all changing rooms were already taken and a few people were also waiting but Devil Face followed up with quick advice, 'Pick the middle one!'
Wuxing didn't have much ti to consider it and simply went along with the plan, siding inside the changing room, trying to not show the inside of it to the people outside. He knew there was soone inside but he didn't have another choice.
His body which was all transparent a mont ago suddenly returned back to normal right after he closed the curtain behind him. He naturally looked at the person first, wanting to stop him or her from screaming but then he saw a naked lady's back, realising why Devil Face chose that cabin. The mature beauty was trying to button her bra but it wasn't going just as she wanted, missing the hook.
Hearing soone entering, she probably thought it was her husband as she requested without even looking behind of her or the mirror on the side, "Babe, can you hook the bra for ?"
