When all the trainees noticed Sir Alistair approaching with Sir Morren Roneyev and Sir Oronik Faelor following closely behind, they imdiately stood at attention and saluted the knights. Their movents were crisp, and their expressions were filled with both excitent and nervousness.

"Oh ho! I can feel the raw energy radiating from all of you," Alistair teased them and folded his arms behind his back and gave them a smug grin. "You’re really excited, aren’t you?"

"Yes, Sir Alistair! We are excited!" One of the trainees, Kallus Adair, replied with enthusiasm.

There are Orion Hart, Aerich Ford, Kallus Adair, Ivis Wilson, and Llyris Wilson, who were going to join them for the mission as they were the top five candidates, and they had perford best in training grounds.

Ivis Wilson and Lyris Wilson are twin brothers. They both ca from humble families in the Morthagar kingdom. Every year hundreds of students were selected to join the knights of the kingdom, and they were selected from commoner backgrounds.

The seats for various status are reserved in the kingdom; it gives everyone equal opportunities to join the knighthood and bring honor to the kingdom.

Kallus Adair and Orion Hart ca from the noble family, but they don’t have much higher nobility as they were descendants of Baron’s and Viscount’s family.

Aerich Ford ca from the noble family and had a high status as he was the second son of the Northern Duchy of Frostvale.

"Good, good," Alistair said, nodding approvingly. Then he leaned closer, his grin turning mischievous. "But let’s see if that enthusiasm lasts when you’re out in the field. Missions aren’t about all glory and cheers, you know. It also includes sweat, blood, and sotis sheer will."

The trainees stiffened slightly and looked at each other with the sa hesitation, but the hesitation soon vanished.

"Don’t scare them too much, Alistair," Sir Morren Roneyev interjected with a chuckle. "They’ll be fine. After all, they’re under our leadership. Right, boys?"

"Yes, Sir Morren!" they chorused, though they were still sohow nervous.

Sir Oronik Faelor, who had been watching silently, finally spoke up. His tone was calm but commanding. "Rember, this mission is your first step toward proving yourselves. You’ve trained hard, but training is just preparation.

Out there, you’ll face situations no practice drill can prepare you for. So stay sharp and follow our orders."

"Yes, Sir Oronik!" the trainees replied, their resolve strengthening again.

Alistair grinned at Oronik. "Huh, why are you always serious? Let them breathe a little."

Oronik raised an eyebrow. "Letting them breathe doesn’t an letting them slack off."

"Don’t mind him," Morren chid in, stepping forward. "Just stick to the basics—keep your eyes open, trust your instincts, and don’t hesitate when it counts. And one more thing—don’t make have to save your hide out there, alright?"

The trainees laughed nervously, but their nods were sincere.

One of them, Llyris Wilson, stepped forward hesitantly and asked. "Sir Alistair, may I ask... what’s the most important thing for us to rember during this mission?"

Alistair’s teasing deanor shifted, and he beca serious. "The most important thing? Don’t act alone. Missions aren’t about individual heroics. You’re part of a team. Trust your comrades and support each other. That’s how you’ll survive."

Llyris nodded firmly; his expression was determined.

At so distance away from them Cassian was talking to Keren Cavrov; he has a slightly smaller fra compared to the robust fra of knights of the Morthagar Kingdom.

Keren Cavrov did not belong to their kingdom; he was from Elven Dominance, which is a northern continent. The Eleven Dominanace is further divided into two major kingdoms and so unknown kingdoms that were deeply hidden, and no one knows their exact location.

Sylvaris was the first and the main kingdom of the elves. It was surrounded by enchanted forests and majestic spires.

Vyrendal was a smaller elven kingdom known for its deep connection to ancient magic and nature spirits. Keren Cavrov is from there.

Why did he co here in the Morthagar kingdom? It is still a mystery. No one knows about it, and no one asked again when Keren ignored this question bluntly.

He was with them for two years. and always accompanies them on the missions as a healer, because he had awakened healing power.

Cassian stood beside Keren, his eyes scanning the horizon as the morning sun began to rise.

Beside him, Keren Cavrov adjusted the straps of his satchel, which was filled with various herbs, elixirs, and other tools of his trade. His movents were graceful, almost unnaturally so, a characteristic of his elven heritage.

Keren glanced at Cassian, breaking the silence. "You seem restless this morning, Cassian. Is sothing troubling you?"

Cassian shifted his gaze toward the elf, his expression neutral but his voice tinged with a hint of weariness. "Not troubled. Just... cautious. This mission feels different."

Keren’s silver eyes sparkled faintly in the morning light. "Different how? It is not; it is just a normal mission like the previous ti. Or Is it because of the trainees? Or sothing else?"

Cassian didn’t respond imdiately. He folded his arms across his chest and exhaled. "The trainees are part of it. This will be their first real mission, and it’s not an easy one.

But there’s more to it than that. The location we’re heading to—it doesn’t sit right with , and the place is Galdreth. Have you ever heard of this place?"

Keren tilted his head, curiosity flickering across his face. "Galdreth? Is it the sa place as the Galdreth I know?"

"You know this place," Cassian asked him. He was surprised to find that Karen knows about it. when he was always busy with his research and hardly traveled anywhere.

Yeah! It was situated at the border of Morthagar and Elven domain, and there are other continents that were sharing borders there. It was a very dangerous place. Karen replied, murmuring slowly like he was busy rembering sothing.

Cassian replied flatly. "Whether the place was dangerous or not. We have to still go there. It’s better to be prepared than to be caught off guard. You should keep close to the trainees. If things go wrong, they’ll need you."

Keren chuckled softly, the sound lodic. "You always think two steps ahead. It’s admirable, though sotis exhausting to watch."
