A day before the tournant, Bai Xue had already reached nascent soul stage and was already back at moving around. She would often co of the room and co back with a variety of treasures. Her rate of stealing was now becoming a problem in the academy.
However, no one even knew that she existe. No one tries to approach Wang Ling so it was easy for her to hide. Today, Bai Xue managed to steal from the garden of the Alchemy Hall. Returning to Wang Ling's dorm, the intense heat from inside touched her beautiful fur. Wrapping herself with spirit qi, she entered the room and went to the bed and started watching Wang Ling cultivate.
While she was eating, the heat coming from Wang Ling subsided. The intense heat reentered Wang Ling's body. Opening his eyes, Wang Ling then heard Bai Xue's slightly cute voice on the side.
"Your flas is as vigorous as ever. But your control still sucks, you better form your nascent soul as fast as possible or else."
Wang Ling knew what Bai Xue said was correct. He didn't speak for a while and collected his breath before saying sothing.
"The Hell Spark isn't going to harm , at least not unless I ignite it intentionally. Also, I can't ignite it here, else the explosion of the [First Ignition] is going to destroy most of the academy's property."
Wang Ling's Hell Spark had reach its peak form. It was properly contain inside Wang Ling's body and isn't causing him any harm, but for the past few days, he had been experinting on the heat it innately produce.
He had been using his Hell Spark to temper his body. His body had been receiving that idea quite well. His internal organs are being tempered in a nice way while also making him accustod to flas. He guessed that his body will beco slightly more immune to flas if this goes on.
The past nine days had been quiet as nothing really happened. Except that is for the white dot on the Hell Spark had been expanding as his cultivation improves. For now, the white dot had not done anything bad but the attribute of his Hell Spark was beginning to change.
From a pure flas of hell, it was beginning to have a different aura. Although that particular aura was still far weaker than his hellish aura, if it continues to grow further, it will soon beco on par with his hellish aura.
Wang Ling had no knowledge about that qi's existence. But considering that it grows with his cultivation, he already have so ideas. It has sothing to do with his mysterious cultivation thod.

"Hey, do you have any more of those spirit plants?" Bai Xue asked all of a sudden.

Looking away, Bai Xue stated, "I like eating them. They are sweet and taste good, just give them to if you have so to spare. It's not like it's going to go to waste anyway, I'll assimilate it and absorb its energy to raise my level."
Wang Ling sighed and shook his head at the sight of this white fox. He took out two spirit plants and threw at Bai Xue, who gladly received his 'gifts' and gladly started eating them.
"You're really carefree for soone wanting to beco the king of all beast, aren't you?" Wang Ling said and Bai Xue responded with:
"Well, my previous way of living was hell where I needed to sche in order to kill those who are stronger than myself. But here, it is like heaven, but I know this is not going to last because I can tell that danger and trouble is not sothing foreign to you.
"On that note, what about you then? You claim that you're going to beco the strongest of them all but here you are, still struggling in such a place. I thought that soone with that mindset will be wreaking havoc everywhere and taking what he needs for other people."
Keeping silent for a short while, Wang Ling thought of an answer but ca out with nothing. Why was he acting so soft in this life? Shaking his head, he looked at Bai Xue and answered with the best of his abilities.
"Family is starting to get to I supposed. I also leave in a chaotic manner so I guess that living peacefully with an occasional fight to the death is making grow softer."
"Are you going to continue growing soft? If you continue to change, you will soon find yourself unable to reach the place you are trying to reach." Bai Xue spoke in a teasing manner.
"I did say that I'm beginning to soften, but that only applies to certain things. He he, do you think I'll take this path of cultivating devil arts because I'm planning to beco soft? I once claid that I will reclaim my seat, and that has never change, don't worry, I will start leaving my mark by the ti I form my next set of wings."
Bai Xue noticed that an inconceivable intent to fight erupted out of Wang Ling. This battle intent spurted her heart to beat erratically.

Noticing his gaze, Bai Xue turned around and wrapped herself with her fluffy white tail and said, "Go on and cultivate." Before falling asleep.
Wang Ling stayed quiet after that and chose to focus on himself. He took out a pill from his storage ring and the aroma of Nature Extension Pill entered his nose.
He had been putting it off for nine days but it was ti to do this. Wang Ling popped the pill inside his mouth. A refreshing sensation spread through his body. Wang Ling let out a moan but that refreshing sensation did not last for long as his body began to convulse as soon the strong concentration of different dicinal essence burst out of the pill.
He furrowed his brows and a sharp pain started assailing the left part of his body. At first, the pain was spread out and wasn't as penetrating, but soon, the pain beca concentrated.
As if hundreds of swords began congregating around his stump. His blood vessels throbbed and what remained of his left arm started hurting like hell. He gritted his teeth and tried to best to endure.
His stump began to glow a golden light, then, that golden light changed into red. A bone started sticking out of his stump and started forming the base of his arm. Tissues, blood vessels, skin and finally his ridians began forming.
As the pain began to beco more intense, his arm was quickly being reconnected to his blood vessels, muscle tissues and then his ridians without any problems. Wang Ling endured the process for two hours and after two hours, a new that was as strong as his right arm appeared.
The Nature Extension Pill had done its job and Wang Ling ford his left arm. Looking at his left arm, Wang Ling stood up and took out the sword. Using his left hands, Wang Ling started executing sword skills and smiled after a while.
"Finally!" Wang Ling exclaid as his left arm grew back.

With that, the tenth day quickly ca and the entire Piercing Heaven Empire beca lively. In the Piercing Heaven Academy's largest stage, Heavenly Dragon Platform was the area where the tournant would be held.
Thousands of people were coming in droves as the boisterous tide of people made the atmosphere all the more lively. This was a yearly event in the Piercing Heaven Empire, and it was the most festive event.
The Heavenly Dragon Platform was a colosseum with a single two hundred ter large platform. The platform was square and was colored black. This platform was sturdy as it was made from the Black Saint Ore that could withstand the attacks of saints.
As a great number of people enters the academy by walking, there were so who was able to fly. The people who were all able to fly were saints. Seeing those flying saints above them made people feel reverence. They cheered even louder.
In the colosseum there were ten areas where important people were settled. One of these area were prepared for the emperor who had yet to co, two were for the Head Teachers and the Elders respectively, and the last seven areas were for the envoys from the seven great academies.
Wang Ling was inside the colosseum, on top of his shoulders was a cute little white fox. He was standing on a sowhat unnoticeable corner. Wang Ling turned to the place where the envoys were seated and his eyes squinted after noticing that those people were all saints and they all look rather young.
"They're quite young. But are still lacking compared to the young'uns of the Heaven Realm." Bai Xue said in a hush voice that only Wang Ling could hear.
Nodding his head, Wang Ling agreed tacitly.
With his silence, his very presence drowned and he beca completely unnoticeable.
The festive atmosphere continued and three elders suddenly flew across the skies and quietly hovered over the colosseum. The long bearded elder stood in the middle of the three. He stepped forth and announced.
"Today is the day where the students who have reached the pinnacle of energy palace stage shall compete for the ten seats and earn the right to attend the official examinations of the seven great academies.
"Today is a joyous occasion that even Emperor Chang Shi has blessed us with his presence." he long bearded elder took a step to the side and raised his head.
A figure descended from the skies and a man wearing luxurious golden robes ca into view. The man was handso and looked valiant, he seems honest and true, this man was the Emperor of the refuted Piercing Heaven Empire, Chang Shi.
Chang Shi had a welcoming smile on his face as he spoke with delight.
"Good morning my people! You already know what I am about to say so I am not going to make any more speech like last year where you guys almost fell asleep!" Chang Shi laughed and so did the citizens after hearing his majesty making a joke.
Chang Shi raised his right hand and proclaid, "With the heavens as witness, students of my Piercing Heaven Academy, show us a good show that all of us can be proud of. I now proclaim the tournant is started!!!!"
Chang Shi disappeared with the elders and they showed up on their respective seats soon after. The empty seats of the emperor suddenly beca lively as Chang Shi appeared and by his side Chang Yun waited for the tournant.
Jiang Wen, appeared on the stage and called out, "The two combatants of the set A, co forward."
Two students jumped up the platform and stood staring at each other. Everyone was cheering and clapping, Jiang Wen was just about to announce the start of the first bout when soone exclaid about so student walking up the platform.
Jiang Wen turned around and saw Wang Ling walking towards him and the two combatants. Jiang Wen had his brows furrowed as he asked.
"What are you doing here? It is not yet ti for your fight."
Wang Ling stood in the middle of the platform and raised his hand as he announced.
"Alright, those who is a part of set A, co and step forward. I'll beat the shit out of you guys nice and easy. I don't want to wait for my turn."
