Wang Ling stared in shock at the presence of his Father leisurely descending from high above. The spear he had thrown returned to his hand with a single motion and the mbers of the Shadow Pavilion hurried over at the sight of Wang Shu Qing.
Qihai was the first one to arrive and as he was about five ters away from Wang Shu Qing he knelt down on one knee as he greeted, "Hail the God of War, this lowly one greets your Greatness." Qihai's greeting was rather unique.
Wang Ling stared at this and then to Wang Shu Qing. His eyes had questions and in front of his son, Wang Shu Qin released a dry cough as he said to Qihai, "I have told you guys to stop that. Stop being so persistent, also, aren't you doing sothing? Feed the ones you killed to the beasts that lurk nearby but chop their bodies to minceat and collect their valuables. We can't let our presence stick around here after we leave." Wang Shu Qing ordered sothing so vicious so calmly that it was as if he was ordering so breakfast in a local restaurant.
"I understand, Grand Master, if you would excuse my presence, Young Master." Qihai once again bowed and disappeared into the night.
Wang Shu Qing turned to Wang Ling then to the corpse of Qin Ao behind him and then back to Wang Ling before speaking with a deep sigh, "Ling'er, I have been watching you for the longest ti, ever since you left the Red Lands, I have been watching you and observing your actions. I had already thought you were moving weird, but who would have thought that you were out to kill the Young Master of Qin Lin? Hahaha!"
Wang Ling swallowed nothing but his saliva because, despite the laughter echoing all over the area, the anger behind Wang Shu Qing's voice was present. Wang Ling had always seen Wang Shu Qing as an expert, but at this mont the pressure boring down on his body was causing him to sweat and that is just due to his domineering presence.

Wang Shu Qing saw Wang Ling being cautious and this caused him to be sowhat irritated, "Ling'er, if you are a part of the Wang Family then speak up. If this much pressure is going to make you shut up then where did the balls you had when you were killing Qin Ao go!?"
Complete and utter shock, Wang Ling was at a loss for a word. Since his reincarnation, Wang Ling had always been the one looking down upon others, who would have thought he would be looked down upon right now? And what made him unable to rebuke Wang Shu Qing's words was the fact that his words was the truth.
He did indeed lost the ability to speak in front of the pressure Wang Shu Qing was producing. The shock of eting soone beyond Celestial bewildered the foundation Wang Ling had known. It was as if a Mortal had t God. But with Wang Shu Qing's words, Wang Ling regained himself and answered Wang Shu Qing's question in a dignified voice.
"I apologize for that, Father. For you to see your son killing soone of his caliber must be disappointing."
Wang Shu Qing nodded his head as he said, "You are not wrong, I am displeased that you killed soone who is much lower than your cultivation. But that is not exactly why I am angry."
"It isn't?" Wang Ling was baffled, he had heard that Wang Shu Qing was a man of honor, if that was not it then what reason could there be, instead?
Wang Shu Qing breathed out as he spoke, "If I truly disapproved of your thods, then I would have stopped you before you can take Qin Ao's head. But I let you took it, did I not? The reason why I am angered is because of your carelessness, if you are going to kill soone then make sure you know what can happen. You wear a mask to hide your identity, but if not for my interference, the Immortal Will of Qin Lin would have materialized and squished you like an insect. You may not believe , but for an Immortal, killing a Dominion Realm cultivator through an Immortal Will is as easy as breathing."
Wang Ling was surprised to hear such a thing from Wang Shu Qing and he bowed his head and said, "I understand my mistakes, Father." Before smiling secretly.
He never thought Wang Shu Qing was this kind of person. Well, his interaction with him was very limited so it was natural for him to not truly know of his attitude about most things, but from the many things he heard about him, it made him curious about what is his true thoughts on killing Qin Ao. He asked him for future references on how he should act around him.
Wang Shu Qing listened to his question and laughed, "I have said that I am angry but the reason why I am not pursuing it is that I saw your intention was not just killing for fun. You had a reason to kill him and that is all I need to know. If he had bad blood with you, then kill him if you need to. You have planned for it and I trusted that your plan was going to work and it will not implicate the family so I let it be. I only intervened because I worried for your safety."
Wang Ling then said, oh, before nodding his head in understanding. Right now his image of Wang Shu Qing was beginning to warp and change. He was indeed a righteous person, but the standard of his righteousness was based on the standards of a true expert who had seen it all.

You must have learned it from your travels, correct? Oh, your planning is also quite sothing, you managed to trap Qin Ao and secure your positions so that is also quite nice. You are moving forward quite nicely, but it Fei'er learns of this, she will surely flip out and ban you from leaving the house. Wang Ling laughed as he looked at Wang Shu Qing, "Do not worry, Mother, knows what I am doing, do not worry, Father."

"Yes, she knows about my situation, I report to her every three months through the Shadows and she lets know what is happening in the world through the sa thod."
Wang Shu Qing's face darkened after realizing sothing, he imdiately asked, "Then, does she know of your bloodline?"
Wang Ling nodded his head and Wang Shu Qing lost all hope.
At this mont, Qihai returned and reported, "Everything has been cleared out we are safe to leave."
"Alright, let us leave, Ling'er, an Immortal might co here in a day so we have to leave also, tell everything you know about our Family's situations. I need to prepare a suitable explanation and learn what is happening in the Family, sothing big must be happening."
Wang Shu Qing carried Wang Ling away in a hurry.
Exactly seventeen hours later, people of the Desolate Clan arrived only to find nothing. No trace of blood and even remnants of qi was left behind.
