"This is a Space Prohibition Talisman. Fortunately, it’s not too complex."

Ye Tianling activated his Soul Mirror Talent, extending his senses in all directions, but he found no lingering aura of the Cultivator who had cast the Imprisonnt.

He then gathered his Soul Power and, using the thods of the Ancient Soul Extinction Forbidden, easily broke the shackles of the two Space Prohibition Talismans.

Once the Forbidden Talisman Array was open, it revealed a cage flowing with the unique Energy Aura of the Soul Race, which firmly imprisoned a woman in a sapphire-blue gauze dress.

Ye Tianling’s figure manifested. As he saw the woman, she also saw him.

The look in the woman’s eyes was completely indifferent, showing no emotion.

Yet, deep within her pupils, a profound hatred was hidden.

"The Demon Race? A Demon?"

Ye Tianling was a little surprised.

The young woman was quite beautiful, but having seen many Unparalleled Fairies of ethereal beauty, Ye Tianling didn’t find her particularly stunning.

His surprise stemd from the fact that, now standing face-to-face with her with his Soul Mirror Talent active, he could clearly sense that she possessed a Demon Heart.

The Demon Heart stirred a feeling of kinship within him.

This flicker of emotion resonated with his own Demon Heart, causing him to recall the battle where he had activated it and wreaked havoc upon the Dragon Race for the sake of Long Tianyu and Long Tianmo.

That familiar aura he had sensed also originated from this very place—from this young woman of the Demon Race.

"Stop putting on an act! Did you think I wouldn’t recognize you, Xi Junchang, just because you changed your appearance? Your Ten Thousand Souls Transformation Technique is truly unparalleled; even your entire deanor has changed!"

The young woman in the Battle Armor, which shimred with a hazy, sapphire-blue light—Mu Yuxi—suddenly spoke.

Her words made Ye Tianling laugh in spite of himself.

"? Xi Junchang? What kind of creature is he, to even be ntioned in the sa breath as , Ye Tianling?"

Ye Tianling sneered, his voice filled with scorn and contempt.

"Oh? Then it seems I was being overly cautious and misjudged the situation. My apologies."

Mu Yuxi glanced at Ye Tianling, her tone calm.

Her emotions were so placid, devoid of sorrow or joy, that even Ye Tianling’s Soul Mirror Talent couldn’t determine if she was telling the truth.

"And you are?"

Ye Tianling returned Mu Yuxi’s indifferent gaze. He had already broken the shackles of two Forbidden Talisman Arrays. At this point, he figured he might as well play the good guy for once and just rescue the young woman.

Whether she was grateful or not, Ye Tianling didn’t care. After all, her Demon Heart had reminded him of Long Tianyu and Long Tianmo.

And the stubborn yet cold look in this young woman’s eyes was also sowhat similar to Long Tianmo’s back then.

Though Ye Tianling was cold, ruthless, and tyrannical, he still had a soft spot in his heart.

"Mu Yuxi. First Princess of the Golden Night Clan, from the Celestial Demon Blood Domain."

Mu Yuxi replied succinctly.

"So, you are Princess Mu Yuxi. I am the Kunpeng Divine Son, Ye Tianling."

Ye Tianling introduced himself.

"The Divine Child of the Golden-winged Roc Clan?"

Mu Yuxi’s eyes narrowed slightly, and a strange note entered her voice.

Ye Tianling didn’t think much of it. With his Soul Mirror Talent active, he still didn’t sense anything amiss.

"Yes, the Golden-winged Roc Clan. But I co from a remote world of the Human Race."

Ye Tianling thought for a mont before adding.

"In that case, you must be clan-siblings with the Golden Boy and Jade Girl, the Divine Son Yao Qiye and the Divine Lady Nine Demon Beauties."

Mu Yuxi said, looking at Ye Tianling again with a thoughtful expression.

"Yes. When I entered the Heaven-Reaching Tower, they had probably just awakened from their slumbering seals from the Ancient Era, so we haven’t t yet. But let’s not talk about that. What’s your situation? Do you need help?"

Ye Tianling said.

"Can you help ?"

Mu Yuxi asked.

"This is a type of Soul Seal shackle, a Soul Ban technique. I’m proficient in Talisman Arrays, so I can try to break it, but it might involve a certain degree of... intrusion upon your soul and body."

Ye Tianling thought for a mont before speaking seriously.

His gaze was clear, and he held no improper thoughts toward Mu Yuxi. It was only because her Demon Heart had stirred his own, causing it to show signs of new growth.

Because of this growth, Ye Tianling was once again reminded of Long Tianyu and Long Tianmo, and thus, his gaze toward Mu Yuxi was quite gentle.

Mu Yuxi lowered her head, an icy look appearing in her eyes. At the sa ti, she sneered inwardly, ’Xi Junchang, if I didn’t know that this Soul Ban was a technique you created yourself—one that no one else can break—I might have almost been fooled by you! But do you really think I’ll forgive you for this?’

Though she thought this, she hid it extrely well, because she understood perfectly that Xi Junchang’s Soul was powerful, and his Sensing Ability was, of course, extraordinarily heaven-defying.

If he were to detect her thoughts, her doom would be certain.

Mu Yuxi raised her head. Her gaze beca incredibly clear, but her tone grew cold. "If the price is my innocence, then you don’t need to help break it."

Ye Tianling shook his head. "The ’intrusion’ I ntioned isn’t what you’re thinking. It’s just that when my soul manifests the Runes to break the restriction, it will naturally have to touch your body. That’s all. If you’re unwilling, then forget it."

Ye Tianling gave Mu Yuxi a cool glance. He found it hard to understand. ’Doesn’t she even know this much?’

"If it’s as you say, then there’s no problem. I apologize. I thought you were just like Xi Junchang..."

Mu Yuxi fell silent for a mont but still took the initiative to apologize, her words sounding quite sincere.

"Forget it. Who’s to bla but your Demon Soul’s aura for reminding of my sister? Let’s just call it fate."

Ye Tianling sighed softly.

Then, he directly gathered and transford his soul Runes, manifesting the Ti Origin thod to reorganize them.

Soon, as Ye Tianling’s Primordial Runes gathered and flowed onto Mu Yuxi’s body, the shackles binding her began to unlock, bit by bit.

The process went smoothly, and Ye Tianling did his best to keep his soul Runes from touching Mu Yuxi’s physical body.

As ti passed, Ye Tianling’s Soul Power rippled out in clusters, creating incredibly complex transformations in the Void. Even Mu Yuxi was quite shocked as she watched this change unfold.

However, she said nothing, continuously mobilizing the power of her Demon Heart to circulate it through her bloodline, allowing her own strength to recover more quickly.

Ye Tianling didn’t suspect a thing. By breaking this Soul Ban technique, he was actually gaining a deeper understanding of the Ancient Soul Extinction Forbidden.

Normally, with his disposition, he would never have saved soone, especially a woman who was a complete stranger.

But now, in the process of rescuing her, he had co to understand the profundities of the Ancient Soul Extinction Forbidden even better, and his mood couldn’t help but improve slightly.
