839 Back ho II

A few days later, in Kyle's room, the moonlight flickered through the only window as he traced circles on the palm of the beautiful woman sleeping in his arms.

He had fallen asleep a while ago, but he woke up in the middle of the night. Now, he was watching Yue sleep peacefully.

She closed her ticklish palm and turned toward him, mumbling softly as her head nestled against the area below his neck.

"Sleep..."

Kyle chuckled and kissed her forehead.

"I already did."

She humd in response.

Yue had t with her mother, who was currently sleeping in a room on the ground floor of the building with Bia and Nox. The two supre-rank beasts had suddenly begun fighting at the dinner table over who could absorb more spiritual energy. In their competition, they ended up overabsorbing it, and now both of them were unwell.

Kyle's eyes glowed in the darkness as he played with her hair. He stayed silent for a while before finally speaking up.

"If I leave for the Celestial realm in a few months... Will you be upset?"

Yue blinked open her eyes and remained silent for a mont. Currently, she was at the initial stage of supre rank. She had spent the last year understanding various natural laws. She knew that it would take a long ti to reach the Celestial rank.

"No, I will just miss you, and it won't be long before I co find you there."

She felt a bit upset, but not too much.

They had a long life ahead of them. As a supre rank, she could live for a very long ti, not to ntion her husband, who was a true Celestial. While it was sad that they would be separated for so ti, the fact that they could always et again was enough to overshadow that sadness.

Suddenly, she raised her head and slightly narrowed her eyes, causing Kyle to flinch.

"The won in the Celestial realm will be beautiful, just like you, who have beco so ethereal after reaching that rank... So, stay far away from them, because when I get there and find out you didn't, it wouldn't be good for you, my dear husband."

Kyle stared at her face for a mont and then burst into unrestrained laughter. Yue's face flushed red, and she pinched his waist, but it had no effect on him as he didn't even flinch and continued to laugh.

"You...! So annoying!"

She grumbled inwardly. It took her a lot to say what she did, but seeing him laugh was a beautiful experience in itself. So, she smiled as well and fell asleep again.

Kyle wiped the corners of his eyes and watched her sleep.

"My heart is very small. You are already enough to fill it up. So, how can you expect to find another?"

He muttered softly with a smile and fell asleep as well. It was a peaceful sleep.

The two woke up together in the morning and had breakfast with the others. Eon and Yue's mother prepared a grand feast.

Kyle was surprised to learn that his father and butler Eon had established their own academy for young talents, which was the top academy on the entire planet.

He went to tour the academy with Yue, and the students there were srized to see two such beautiful individuals suddenly wandering through the halls.

Ultimately, the two paused in the training hall where many students were practicing. Kyle observed them and offered pointers to those he believed were making mistakes.

He even created several artificial skill cores and distributed them to so students. Yue suddenly extended her hand.

"I want one as well."

He turned to her and tilted his head.

"Just one?"

In his palm, a glowing core materialized. It was the weaker version of the Ice Dragon inherited skill: Ice Domain. Kyle wanted to share the best version, but one could only share the weaker version of the skill they possessed. He had yet to discover an effective way to share his skills.

"It's powerful... I thought you could only form a weaker version of your skills?"

Kyle smiled and rubbed her back.

"I acquired this skill as an (S)-rank skill. This is the weakest version of the Ice Domain."

Yue fell silent. It was definitely due to his luck stat. She had many skills, and so of them were even at supre rank. However, finding powerful skills wasn't easy.

"So, I can absorb it?"

"You can."

She didn't hesitate any longer, and the glowing core in her hand shattered into particles before entering her body. Her eyes widened when she realized its potential. Ice Domain. It was truly a powerful skill.

She was already happy, but Kyle placed another (S)-rank skill glowing core in her palm, making her blink adorably.

"Huh?"

He chuckled.

"Absorb it as well."

Yue was dumbfounded, but she absorbed the skill core, and her eyes widened again.

"Instant teleportation! Is not this the skill that everyone hated the most?"

She laughed, reminiscing about the past. They left the academy to shop, eat, and simply wander the markets together.

Still, it didn't take long for news of their presence to spread, attracting people. This included the current kings and queens from the few continents on the planet. Even the Queen of the r race ca, but they were shooed away by Ohan because the couple was busy enjoying ti with their families.

Bia and Nox once again battled each other. This ti, it was a full-fledged battle, with both beasts trying to defeat the other.

The crystal-clear sky above Ohan's house exploded with a dazzling display of golden flas and torrents of water, sending terror through the hearts of the citizens. Yet, they all froze in awe as the attacks were halted by a gray array that ford around the two legendary beasts, limiting their power and preventing it from reaching the spectators.

Many recognized the phoenix and the lynx as the heroic figures who had once battled to save their planet from utter destruction.

In the end, a huge crowd gathered in the small city, captivated by the otherworldly clash, with so fervently cheering for the majestic phoenix and others passionately supporting the fierce lynx.

Even citizens from distant cities flocked to witness this breathtaking showdown, their excitent palpable in the air.

The Queen of the r race, King Istalian, and other kings settled down in the small city as well, their eyes wide with awe as they watched the epic battle unfold.

After the public laid eyes on the phoenix and the lynx, it didn't take long for them to realize that if the two powerful beasts were back on the planet, then their companions—the heroes who had saved them in the past—had also returned. This news spread like wildfire across the entire planet, igniting excitent throughout the land.

Throngs of people flocked to the scene, desperate to catch a glimpse of the iconic figures Kyle, Yue, Alec, and the rest, whose nas echoed through the ages. But alas, they had no idea where to find them, leaving them with no choice but to witness the breathtaking clash in the sky, their hearts racing with anticipation and wonder.

Kyle did nothing to stop Bia and Nox; he simply lounged in the garden of his house with others, casually munching on lon seeds as the chaos unfolded.

He had ford an array around the two supre beasts, and that was enough to protect everything in the vicinity.

Yue rolled her eyes when she watched him recline so leisurely in the armchair.

"What if they both end up harming each other? Why do I get the feeling that you're relishing their fight far too much?"

Kyle turned to her.

"That's not it. It's beneficial for their growth if they fight. Just sit down and watch. Look, even mother is watching the battle."

Yue's mother, Iva, looked back. She was seated with Ohan and Eon in the distance, roasting so at for the kids.

"Let them fight, my dear. Kyle is right. They are learning through these battles. This is a valuable experience for them to grow."

Neon and Ray chid in. Neon held a supre rank storage ring in his hand.

"Sister-in-law, this is about money. I've wagered all my mana stones on Bia, and Ray has on Nox!"

Ray nodded solemnly.

"We're just waiting for the results."

Yue could only shake her head and settled down next to Kyle to watch the battle.

They watched as the two beasts transford the sky into a raging sea of golden flas and icy cold water. Bia was very aggressive, and Kyle smirked as he glanced at the storage ring in Neon's hand. Suddenly, he leaned down toward him.

"Brother, just a friendly reminder, the chances of Bia winning seem quite low to ."
