Chapter 33: Chapter 32: Heart of the Secret Realm
The Ghost Suppression Bureau has two supre leaders: the Director of Operations and the Director of Internal Affairs.
The Director of Operations and the Director of Internal Affairs are of equal rank. The forr is responsible for the Ghost Suppression Bureau’s external operations, while the latter manages its internal affairs.
The primary duty of the Ghost Suppression Bureau is to eliminate the Bizarre. While protecting the residents of the entire Upper City District from Bizarre incursions, they also cleanse the Bizarre lurking in the Lower City District.
This makes the Ghost Suppression Bureau often more respected and beloved in the hearts of Guardian Beast Masters than the Starlight Army.
If he weren’t going mad with worry, Lin Zhuo wouldn’t have revealed his identity as the Director of Internal Affairs for the Ghost Suppression Bureau right from the start.

Although the pair hadn’t yet erged from the Horned Demon Secret Realm, he had finally heard news that they were safe.

Hearing the Adventurers’ description, Lu Jinlun walked up to Lin Zhuo and spoke.
"Lord Wei Re, it must be them. Su Ya said Zhong Ling’s Lifebound Guardian Beast is a butterfly, and the description of the beast’s type matches."
"I’ve already sent many people into the Secret Realm to search. Lord Zhong Yi is capable of handling a Horned Demon Swarm, so the chances of him encountering danger in the Horned Demon Secret Realm are slim."
Wen Tao had been quietly listening to the Adventurers recount their experiences in the Secret Realm, sowhat surprised by Zhong Yi and Zhong Ling’s strength.
’To think they’re capable of handling a Horned Demon Swarm right after awakening their Soul Bases and becoming Guardian Beast Masters.’
’And from the Adventurers’ accounts, they had tacitly coordinated to annihilate an entire Horned Demon Swarm of forty to fifty Horned Demons.’
Wen Tao was very curious about that Human-shaped Guardian Beast, which sounded even stranger than a Bizarre, and about how Zhong Ling was able to command over a dozen Shattered Blade Butterflies.
But curiosity was one thing; Wen Tao had no intention of probing into the matter.

"Should we give so Energy Cores to the Ice Crystal Flower to raise its Level?"
Zhong Yi looked at the Ice Crystal Flower’s wilting leaves and nodded.
"We only need to use a small portion of the Energy Cores we have to raise the Ice Crystal Flower’s power to the Mortal Beast Tenth Level."
"We’re going to explore the depths of the Horned Demon Secret Realm in a bit. If we raise the Bronze Quality Ice Crystal Flower to the Mortal Beast Tenth Level, we won’t need it for combat. As long as it naturally releases cold air, it should have no problem lasting another three to five days."
Zhong Yi had transmigrated into a ga world, and the Rules of the Secret Realms happened to be ones he had painstakingly designed.

Zhong Yi had co to explore the Horned Demon Secret Realm not only to nurture the Soul-Controlling Flower and Hong Ji, but also with the intention of raising the Horned Demon Secret Realm’s exploration level as high as possible.
He was aiming to raise the Horned Demon Secret Realm’s exploration level to one hundred percent!
According to Zhong Yi’s design, reaching one hundred percent exploration would grant a Heart of the Secret Realm, which could expand one’s Soul Base and add attributes to it.
Both the Heart of the Secret Realm’s ability to expand his Soul Base and its ability to add attributes to it were things Zhong Yi needed.
Zhong Yi could use the Soul Taming Seed to form Contracts with various Attribute Guardian Beasts, but his Soul Base’s attributes were currently only compatible with Healing Elent Guardian Beasts.
Although his Soul Base’s attributes didn’t prevent him from using the Soul Taming Seed to form Contracts with Guardian Beasts of other attributes,
these contracted Guardian Beasts of different attributes were unable to rapidly recover their Energy through the Soul Base when Zhong Yi recalled them into it.
A Soul Base was not rely a space for a Guardian Beast Master to store their Guardian Beasts, nor was it just a storage space superior to a Storage Bag.
A Soul Base was, in fact, equivalent to a domain world under the exclusive control of the Guardian Beast Master, one that could be developed using Soul Base Materials.
