"Yes, it’s gratitude, not revenge."

Though she felt infuriated by her two sisters’ "backstabbing," Liu Xin’an’s two small trinket gifts were still greatly appreciated by her in the end.

Bae Juhyun gripped her phone and walked towards the dressing room.

However, just as she was passing by the practice room’s entrance, the door swung open from the outside.

It wasn’t anyone else who entered, it was Seong Taekyon, who had returned temporarily.

"Oh, Irene, perfect timing, co here for a second."

Just about to call Liu Xin’an to discuss yesterday’s broadcast incident, Bae Juhyun tensed up and slid her phone into her pocket, looking perplexed.

"Taekyon oppa? Weren’t you on schedule with Yerin?"

"Yerin doesn’t really need over there. Oh, Seungwan is here too, you co along as well."

"Ah? I was just about to order...," Son Seungwan protested reluctantly, but quickly covered her mouth.

It was too late; the familiar Seong Taekyon instantly recognized what the won were up to.

He gave a speechless smile and sighed.

"Co here first, I need to speak to both of you."

"Hmm? Alright then."

Son Seungwan, full of curiosity, wondered why Seong Taekyon wasn’t reprimanding them about ordering takeout.

Bae Juhyun furrowed her brows slightly.

Calling both her and Seungwan, could it be...

Her eyes widened as if she had a realization, though she was careful not to show any odd expressions, just cautiously observing Seong Taekyon.

Soon enough, she and Son Seungwan followed Seong Taekyon out of the practice room, leaving Kang Seulgi behind, looking puzzled.

Why did she feel like she was being left out?

Should she still order lunch for the two of them?

Walking on the way to Director Kim’s office, Son Seungwan curiously asked Seong Taekyon, "Is there a job for us, Taekyon oppa?"

She didn’t think about anything related to China, assuming it was just work being assigned to the two of them.

"Well, it’s not exactly a major job, so don’t get your hopes up too much."

Seong Taekyon responded to Son Seungwan, but his gaze was fixed on Bae Juhyun as he spoke.

Bae Juhyun noticed Seong Taekyon’s look and felt a stir in her heart, though she remained composed, nodding gently.

"I understand, Taekyon oppa, I know it’s not the right ti for to appear in front of the fans yet."

"Good, as long as you know. Director Kim will explain the specifics to you two." Seong Taekyon stood in front of the office door, smiled at the two following him, and knocked softly.

After hearing Director Kim’s calm voice from inside, he opened the door and led the two in.

Politely bowing slightly to the leader, Seong Taekyon then stood to the side, as silent as a sentry.

"Did I interrupt your practice?"

"No, we were just about to have lunch. Is there sothing you need from us, Director?" Bae Juhyun replied calmly, puzzled by the situation.

Director Kim nodded, glanced at Bae Juhyun, and slowly began to speak, "It’s about Seungwan’s upcoming shoot in China."

Son Seungwan was taken aback, while Bae Juhyun held her breath.

The call from Liu Zhengjiang was received yesterday afternoon, and before coming to the company today, she had communicated with Li Chenglu.

Could it be that things had taken a turn for the better?

As the two won looked on confusedly, Director Kim crossed his hands under his chin, his deep eyes hidden behind his glasses as he surveyed them.

There was an indescribable strange feeling he had, ever since Bae Juhyun brought up going to China in January, he had felt sothing was off.

But Bae Juhyun’s schedule was almost entirely transparent. Her life over the past few months consisted of ho or the company, with the furthest trip being a visit to Daegu.

Going abroad didn’t count.

All signs indicated that Bae Juhyun’s life hadn’t changed much compared to before, yet he couldn’t shake off this odd feeling.

It was perhaps the sixth sense he had developed over many years as an artist manager, or so sort of inexplicable connection.

Bae Juhyun seed to be closely tied to "China."

"The collaboration platform suggested sothing, not really a request, they hope you can maintain the account on their platform if possible. Consider it as warming up for the show and providing so additional behind-the-scenes content."

This was a normal suggestion, and they had agreed without hesitation when it was brought up by the small station.

Anything that could boost popularity was welco, whether it was S-M or the other companies, and everyone had no objections.

But when they curiously inquired about how to prepare the behind-the-scenes content, the small station’s response inevitably reminded S-M, or rather Director Kim, of Bae Juhyun.

"One of the suggestions is to have non-guest group mbers record so behind-the-scenes reactions, preferably videos of them watching the show."

This type of content was indeed very popular, where celebrities’ friends would rate or comnt on their performances on stage.

"They even suggested that if so group mbers could watch on-site, it would be even better, as it would help promote the show and build hype. However, they won’t provide additional paynts for this, considering it an add-on clause."
