Because today was a rest day without the usual grind, Liu Xin’an had pushed aside so of his other video shoots and slept in without any pressure.

When he opened his eyes, the sky outside the window was already quite bright.

However, probably because the curtains were not drawn, the sunlight pouring into the room made the other person sleeping next to him frown unhappily.

Liu Xin’an hurriedly got up to draw the curtains and then held the girl again.

The darkened environnt made Bae Juhyun feel better, her furrowed brows relaxed, and she continued to sleep soundly.

He never expected that she would co to him on her own.

Last night, when Bae Juhyun pushed open the door, he had already noticed.

But he was very curious about why Bae Juhyun ca to his room in the middle of the night, so he remained quietly waiting.

It wasn’t until she held his hand that he understood a little.

Just as he was reminiscing about last night, Bae Juhyun murmured and slowly opened her eyes.

Seeing Liu Xin’an so close to her, she was first stunned, then instinctively rubbed her eyes and showed a sweet smile.

"Morning."

"It’s not early, it’s already noon."

Liu Xin’an spoke truthfully. When he drew the curtains earlier, he glanced at his phone, and it was already almost 10:30 AM.

Although they did go to bed late last night, Liu Xin’an didn’t expect his biological clock to fail.

Feelings... Can they be this powerful?

Bae Juhyun’s smile stiffened, and she reached out angrily to slap the man in front of her.

"You still have the nerve to say it! If it weren’t for you holding my hand..."

Her voice trailed off until it beca a murmur.

And the blush on her face only made her more enticing.

Liu Xin’an felt a bit embarrassed too; last night, Bae Juhyun indeed surprised him. Similarly... He was also incredibly delighted by her courage.

"Our Juhyun worked hard."

"Hmph."

Bae Juhyun snorted lightly and turned her head away.

Liu Xin’an’s bedroom was not as big as hers, and the bed was much smaller, so they were pretty close at the mont.

Probably feeling sothing, Bae Juhyun turned her head back, blushing and expressionless.

"Control yourself."

Liu Xin’an felt wronged, "It’s out of my control."

"Then think of sothing!"

Liu Xin’an’s gaze fell on Bae Juhyun’s delicate little hand.

"How about... troubling you one more ti?"

"Hey!"

———

"Knock knock knock"

"Stop knocking, stop knocking."

Liu Xin’an impatiently opened the door to let Li Chenglu in.

"Where’s Irene?"

Liu Xin’an nodded toward the bedroom.

"She’s putting on makeup, why are you looking for her?"

"Then let in to wait for Irene."

Li Chenglu glanced at his childhood friend and then wandered over to the sofa and sat down.

Ignoring Li Chenglu, Liu Xin’an was not angry but rather amused.

This optimistic side of him felt a bit fresh to Li Chenglu.

"Why aren’t you arguing with ?"

"Are you crazy? Why would I argue with you?"

"Phew... This feels more natural."

Liu Xin’an gave Li Chenglu a look as if he were an idiot and couldn’t be bothered to continue the conversation.

Soon, a fully made-up Bae Juhyun walked out.

She was undeniably beautiful to the point where it was hard to look away. No matter how many tis Liu Xin’an looked, he couldn’t help but marvel at his own luck. But the problem was...

"We’re supposed to wear masks and hats, is makeup really necessary?"

His straight-man comnt earned double eye-rolls from Bae Juhyun and Li Chenglu.

"See, straight n are so boring."

Li Chenglu comnted lightly, and Bae Juhyun nodded in agreent. Only Liu Xin’an, labeled as a straight man, was left completely bewildered.

What did he say wrong? It’s not like anyone would see it anyway!

They planned to do so shopping this afternoon.

Since Bae Juhyun rarely visited China, she definitely wanted to buy so things to take back.

Whether for her mbers or her family.

But what to buy left them in a bit of a dilemma.

Bae Juhyun was alright because she was completely unfamiliar, so to her, as long as it was sothing with Chinese characteristics, it would be a good souvenir.

But the problem was...

Things with Chinese characteristics were surprisingly abundant.

"We have to buy a cheongsam, right?" Liu Xin’an stroked his chin, giving his heartfelt answer.

He wasn’t pretending anymore; he just wanted to see Bae Juhyun in a cheongsam.

Perhaps last night elevated their relationship a bit, Liu Xin’an started looking at Bae Juhyun differently.

If previously his eyes were mostly filled with gentleness and affection...

Now, there might be a hint of possessiveness.

Bae Juhyun didn’t notice Liu Xin’an’s change, but the ntion of a cheongsam made her eyes light up.

She had heard of this attire and knew it was highly representative of China.

She was very interested and wanted to buy one for each family mber.

However...

"What about my dad?"

"Uh, Zhongshan suit or Hanfu?"

Liu Xin’an wasn’t a history buff and didn’t know what matched a cheongsam well, so he could only give a vague answer based on his common sense.

This answer naturally didn’t satisfy Bae Juhyun, so she turned to look at Li Chenglu.

As a translator who often interacted with foreigners, Li Chenglu knew a lot more about Chinese specialty products than Liu Xin’an.

"Irene, what do your parents do?"

Bae Juhyun protected her family’s information very well, so even die-hard fans like Li Chenglu didn’t know anything about her parents.

"My parents? Hmm... My dad is an employee of a regular company, and my mom runs our family’s fried chicken shop."

"Does your dad like drinking or playing with anything?"

Bae Juhyun thought for a mont and then shook her head before adding, "Not alcohol. Last ti Liu Xin’an brought a bottle of Moutai, my dad got drunk after a few sips."

"Moutai? Why did you bring that kind of liquor?" Li Chenglu looked puzzled and then paused, "Wait a minute, you’ve t Irene’s parents?"

"Does that really shock you?"

"Hell yeah, it shocks . If you’ve t her parents, doesn’t that an..."

Liu Xin’an raised an eyebrow, "an what?"

Li Chenglu’s face fell. She didn’t want to say.

"Stop ssing around. Besides the cheongsam, what else is good to buy?"

"So porcelain as decorative pieces would be good. They’re beautiful and don’t take up much space, and they have Chinese characteristics."

Porcelain was definitely the best choice when it ca to gifts for foreigners.

After all, these had been favored by foreigners since ancient tis; you couldn’t go wrong.

"Ah! Right! Porcelain!"

Bae Juhyun showed a delighted expression. Before coming, she had secretly looked up many travel guides to China.

Even though her identity didn’t allow her to wander around freely... choosing souvenirs to bring back was very important to her. She always paid attention to it.

Porcelain was a very obvious answer. However, the past few days had been filled with delicious food, and she had forgotten.

"But porcelain... we can’t buy anything too big; it won’t be convenient to carry. Just get so small plates or similar items."

"Yes, yes, yes. Where can we buy them?"

"That’s easy. There’s a Jingdezhen Porcelain Museum nearby."

Li Chenglu had been to that place many tis; she knew it inside out.

"So, cheongsam, porcelain... and what did you say, Xin’an... that Zhong..."

"Zhongshan suit. We might not buy that, but cheongsams are beautiful and must be bought!"

"Oh..." Bae Juhyun nodded, not fully understanding.

Seemingly aware of Liu Xin’an’s ulterior motive, Li Chenglu sneered, "Your intentions aren’t pure, Liu Xin’an."

"Cough cough, don’t talk nonsense."

There was nothing more awkward than having your impure thoughts exposed. Liu Xin’an’s face turned red, quickly looking at his girlfriend.

Fortunately, at that mont, Bae Juhyun was busy on her phone, probably searching for photos of cheongsams and porcelain.

When it ca to shopping, Liu Xin’an wasn’t of much help.

All he needed to do was carry the bags for the two of them.

The only thing Liu Xin’an felt regretful about was that Bae Juhyun didn’t try on a cheongsam.

He had hoped for an eye feast, but Bae Juhyun knew her figure well enough.

After giving her asurents, she didn’t need to try it on, just wrapped it up.

This left Liu Xin’an, who had been looking forward to it all afternoon, disappointed.

They didn’t buy too much porcelain; first, it wasn’t convenient to carry since it was fragile. Even if it was well-packed in the suitcase, it could still be damaged by rough handling, so Bae Juhyun only bought two.

One was ant for her parents to put at ho, the other for her dorm.

That way, it roughly covered all the mbers.

As for putting one in her own ho... she didn’t think it was necessary.

If she wanted sothing with Chinese elents at ho, she’d rather go to Liu Xin’an’s and bring him over.

Wasn’t that more representative of Chinese characteristics?

Just kidding.

However, since carrying porcelain plates was inconvenient, Bae Juhyun switched to looking at so small, exquisite, and cute ornants.

Like small fish representing abundance every year, or chubby baby dolls with the character for fortune...

Frankly, Liu Xin’an and Li Chenglu had long tired of such things, but for Bae Juhyun, a foreigner, everything here was intriguing.

After choosing the souvenirs for this trip to China, they got back in the car and started Bae Juhyun’s food exploration tour for the day.

"If only we could take the food back too."

To prevent Bae Juhyun from being recognized, she was seated in the back.

While Liu Xin’an and Li Chenglu sat in the front and driver’s seats.

Hearing Bae Juhyun’s regretful tone, Liu Xin’an turned his head with a smile.

"Duck necks can be taken back; they’re also convenient to eat."

"There are so many other things I want to take back. The Chinese food in Seoul doesn’t taste as good as what we have here."

"Of course."

"Agh~ If only we could co to China to develop our careers."

Through Li Chenglu, Bae Juhyun had learned about her vast fan base in China.

This made her feel very flattered. She thought she hadn’t done much for her Chinese fans, yet she still had so much support... It was impossible not to be moved.

Previously, if she didn’t know or wasn’t so clear about it, it was one thing. Now that she knew... If possible, she still wanted to give back to the fans who supported her.

"It’s not that easy to develop careers in our country, but I heard your group isn’t on the Little Broken Site yet?"

"Hmm?" This suggestion made Bae Juhyun pause.

Li Chenglu, still focused on the road ahead, said, "aespa is your junior group, right? You should know them."

"You’re talking about Ningning and her group?"

"Yes, aespa has an account on Little Broken Site and they post actively."

"Ah... I rember! I heard about it from Ningning."

"So, after you resu your schedule, you might as well talk to the company and set up an official account in our country. Vlogs are pretty popular now, you could also make lifestyle vlogs... Fans would love it if you can interact more."

Bae Juhyun bit her lip, seriously considering Li Chenglu’s suggestion.

anwhile, Liu Xin’an, beside her, seed to want to say sothing but wasn’t sure how to start.
