"Not a big deal. They just said some war scenes are too bloody," Song Chi spoke with a hint of helplessness, "With Director Kang Xin on board, the film won’t get stuck for too long."
"Has Director Kang Xin been preparing any new projects recently?" Zhou Yun asked.
"Thinking of acting?"
"Not me. I don’t have time to shoot now, but Yuk Chu does. I want to see if there’s a suitable role for her."
"Did she tell you she wants to act in Kang Xin’s projects?" Song Chi asked, "I can inquire for her, see if there’s a suitable part."
"She never tells me these things. She’s quite lazy, but I hope she can progress better. Last time we attended an event together, and although she didn’t say it, I could feel she was somewhat disappointed," Zhou Yun embraced Song Chi, continuing, "In this line of business, I only have such a good friend. I don’t want to become distant in the future. The roles she gets access to are pretty average right now. I think it would be a good opportunity for her to learn from a big director’s film, even if there are fewer roles, she could learn a lot."
"Would her company agree?" Song Chi asked.
With the current agency system, many actors don’t refuse to act in better projects, but the agencies, because of lower pay offered by those projects, push actors to work in high-paying yet poor-quality productions with bad working teams.
Zhou Yun: "Shouldn’t be a big problem, I know her agent, who’s quite nice. When I got caught up in that scandal with you, everything was a mess, but she helped me out."
Song Chi nodded, saying, "Then I’ll look into it and see if there’s a suitable play. I will recommend her."
"You don’t need to go out of your way," Zhou Yun said.
"I know," Song Chi nodded.
The next day, Zhou Yun packed up and left early in the morning, heading straight for the airport.
Zheng Xiaojue saw Zhou Yun yawning constantly and asked, "Sister Xiao Yun, did you not sleep well last night?"
Zhou Yun: "It was okay, just tired."
Actually, it was because she was up late last night and really didn’t sleep well.
But she couldn’t tell this to Zheng Xiaojue.
Zheng Xiaojue said, "Then Sister Xiao Yun, why not rest in the car for a while? It’s still over an hour to the airport."

This was for the October magazine cover shoot which Ren Sumin had promised her before.
Because Zhou Yun had to go to Venice in September, in addition to the film festival, she had other commitments, so her return date was uncertain, hence the shoot was scheduled in advance.
In the evening, Zhou Lan, together with Wang Jing, met up with Zhou Yun at the hotel.
