Chapter 4831: Undying Undead

"All divine roads lead to the divine halls, and every divine hall seeks eternal life."

Without realizing it, Lin Moyu had already passed through eight divine halls in succession and now stood at the entrance of the tenth.

The first eight halls were identical in every respect.

Only the formations within each hall grew progressively more complex and difficult; nothing else changed.

It was only at this tenth hall that sothing finally differed.

In front of the hall stood a stone stele, about twice the height of a person.

Two lines of golden characters were carved upon it.

The golden words glimred with divine light like heavenly decree.

A vast pressure rolled down from the stele and landed upon Lin Moyu.

That pressure pierced straight into his soul, burrowing into his Dao heart, as if being branded into the depths of his spirit and transford into an instinctive reflex, forcing him to acknowledge the words.

"Walk the divine road, step into the divine hall, and seek eternal life."

Lin Moyu looked at the inscription and chuckled.

"Eternal life cannot be obtained by begging it can only be taken."

"How could immortality ever be sought?

"It must be fought for fought from others, from heaven, from whatever lies beyond heaven.

"In the end, only the victor can seize eternal life.

"From the very beginning until now, I have never begged."

To Lin Moyu, those lines on the stele were completely wrong.

The Great Dao was a struggle.

He would not ask.

Whoever dared block his path would be slaughtered.

His Dao heart was perfectly rounded and indestructible.

It turned into divine light that surrounded him, and the stele beca nothing more than a stepping stone under that Dao heart.

From then on, the light of his Dao heart shone brilliantly, flawless and complete.

"From this mont, my Dao heart is perfect.

"The heavens cannot confuse .

"My heart is heaven’s heart; my will is heaven’s will.

"There is only what I desire and nothing that can bewilder ."

"In this struggle along the Great Dao, the final victor can only be ."

Lin Moyu stepped past the stele and into the hall.

At the instant he crossed the threshold, the protective radiance of his Dao heart shot out like an arrow and struck the stele behind him.

The stone shattered on impact and crumbled into dust.

Whoever had erected that stele, wishing to make him seek there was no chance of that.

Inside the hall, Lin Moyu broke the formations and drew in the world force within them.

This was his opportunity, not sothing granted by supplication, but sothing obtained by his own strength.

Vaguely, he felt that this fortune had been tailored especially for him.

No one else could obtain it.

A day later, the formations of the tenth hall were fully unraveled.

Each divine hall increased his power by ten percent and nudged him one small step forward.

After ten halls, Lin Moyu’s body and soul had doubled compared to when he had first entered small gains accumulating into a surging sea.

The boundary of a Primal Chaos apex powerhouse was finally shattered.

He felt that his soul and body had stepped into an entirely new realm.

This improvent was purely in strength; there was no accompanying comprehension.

He had simply grown stronger.

If he returned now, he could withstand those rosy light arrows with just his body and soul alone.

Even if he faced the shadow, he would no longer be without the power to fight.

More importantly, his body and soul did not touch the suppressed rules here; he had confidence he could slay the shadow in this place.

His perfected Dao heart told him that this feeling was not wrong.

At this mont, he was stronger than the shadow.

When he stepped onto the eleventh divine road, a familiar sensation washed over him.

Lin Moyu faintly felt that he seed to have returned to so place he knew.

It was like the feeling from the first ti he saw the runes familiar, yet tinged with a long lost intimacy.

"It seems so secrets are about to be revealed."

At his current level, so things naturally beca clearer.

His talent in arrays and runes had never been a coincidence.

Talent could be high, but no talent allowed instant mastery with no cause or reason.

Especially that inexplicable sense of familiarity, present from the very first ti, had always been strange.

Then there was the mont he first obtained the Calamity Scepter.

Back then, it had not even borne that na, yet he had felt without reason that it naturally belonged to him.

This kind of feeling had appeared many tis.

Once could be dismissed as chance; appearing repeatedly ant sothing was wrong.

Lin Moyu knew very well that there was sothing unusual about himself.

As his realm rose and his soul grew stronger, many fragnts of mory and intuition surfaced and lined up on their own.

Minor clues accumulating

the change in the Primal Chaos Gem’s attitude toward him in the deepest part of the Ancient Wilderness

all of these pointed in the sa direction.

He knew he would find an answer one day, so he had never forced it, leaving everything to ti.

Now, that answer was on the verge of erging.

He seed to have so connection to this place.

The eleventh hall’s interior had not changed much.

The hall was still filled with dense formations, only stronger and more complex.

One by one, Lin Moyu dismantled them all.

It took him just over a day to break every formation in the eleventh hall.

The world force within them increased the strength of his body and soul by another ten percent.

His body and soul kept growing stronger, and at the sa ti he realized that his Formation Dao was also improving.

Breaking the formations was simultaneously a re cultivation of his Formation Dao.

These arrays, diverse and graded from weak to strong, were like a condensed replay of his entire journey along the path of formations.

Cracking the arrays deepened his understanding of formations.

Although he was already standing at the endpoint of the Formation Dao, his foundation could still be made firr until it was perfectly complete.

Dao heart, Formation Dao, body, and soul

these were the great opportunities bestowed by the divine halls and divine roads.

As the formations in each hall beca more complex, the ti he needed to unravel them increased.

At the beginning, he could break through one hall in about an hour and a quarter.

By the nineteenth hall, however, he needed four full days to dismantle all the formations.

"Reliving the Formation Dao and gaining a deeper comprehension of formations this is indeed excellent."

"Before the God Servant Hall, I climbed the Divine Mountain, retracing my cultivation path and stabilizing my realm.

"Now, here, I am retracing my Formation Dao and refining my mastery.

"Within the divine halls, my body and soul grow stronger.

"For any cultivator, the Dao heart is paramount, the soul is the foundation, and the body is the base.

"Everything else cos after."

"Why does this feel so much like soone is nurturing a successor?"

"But it does not feel entirely like that either.

"Interesting."

He walked the divine road and arrived before the twentieth hall.

There was no stele here, but there was a humanoid statue.

As Lin Moyu approached, the statue ca to life.

Its aura surged into the sky, suppressing the surroundings.

"A Primal Chaos apex powerhouse!"

Lin Moyu was slightly stunned.

A Primal Chaos apex powerhouse existed here, yet the figure before him was not alive.

He had been resurrected through so special thod after death.

A jolt ran through Lin Moyu’s heart.

Was this not exactly like his own Undying Undead?

A brief probe confird it the aura on this opponent’s body was identical to that of his Undying Undead.

His spell had always been unique, yet here soone else possessed Undying Undead abilities and was a Primal Chaos apex powerhouse, no less.

While he was still astonished, the opponent made his move.

A divine sword tore through heaven and earth and cleaved down at him.

Lin Moyu tapped his finger and sent out a rune, which turned into a grand formation and intercepted the strike.

Boom!

With a thunderous crash, the opponent’s sword was knocked aside.

The apex powerhouse steadied his blade and ford a sword seal with both hands.

"Divine Sword Shatters Heaven!"

The sword fell again, its power several tis stronger than before.

Lin Moyu’s formation shattered violently.

He flicked out another rune; a second grand array ford instantly and blocked the remnants of the sword’s force.

His brows furrowed slightly.

"He can use spells and not only that, this sword is also a Primal Chaos Supre Treasure."

"He is not restricted here, yet I am completely suppressed and can only use the Formation Dao."

"No that is not all.

"My body and soul are still mine, and they are far stronger than his.

"I can suppress him with body and soul."

The mont that thought arose, an invisible force descended.

His body and soul suddenly sank, also suppressed.

Lin Moyu said to himself, "So this is forcing to defeat him with formations alone."
