Chapter 4647: More and More Interesting
Fate flows through all of heaven and earth, invisible and formless yet truly existing.
It silently blends into every inch of space, every living being, every mont.
Within the universe, it is everywhere, ever present.
Compared to ti and space, fate is even more elusive and mysterious.
Even during ancient tis, amongst all the countless lifeforms birthed by the universe, never did one reach the pinnacle of fate manipulation.
All beings seed only to brush its surface.
Ironically, after the second great calamity ended and a new era dawned, cultivators erged they comprehended the Dao, and so of them even touched on the Dao of Fate.
But most only scratched the surface; of them all, only one went truly far.
He was known as the Fate Sovereign a quasi Sovereign, his battle strength unknown, but regarding fate, unrivaled since ti immorial.
Only he mastered many secrets of fate; one such was the "Fate Rift."
Fate intertwines tightly with ti and space. The Fate Sovereign could separate fate from space, creating a rift between them.
He could slip through the rift, traveling anywhere in the world much faster than teleportation, far exceeding normal spatial travel.
He could even briefly return to the past via the fate rift.
This power was suprely mysterious and mighty unique to him.
For the Chaos Wild Bull to suddenly demonstrate this power shocked Lin Moyu. "Does he think I just can’t understand at all?"
This single ability alone almost revealed the bull’s identity.
But the Fate Sovereign had long perished. How could he and the Chaos Wild Bull be connected? The two should have nothing to do with each other.
Chaos Gem spoke: "In any world, fate is a mysterious thing; few comprehend it, fewer still use the fate rift.
He did it so silently clearly he’s truly familiar with manipulating the fate rift. This ans he’s gone very far down the fate path."
Lin Moyu continued: "Fate can predict the future so he knew I’d co here, which is how he waited."
Chaos Gem replied: "Most likely. Otherwise, it makes no sense."
Lin Moyu laughed, "So he was confident I’d agree to this trade."
Chaos Gem shook its head. "That’s not certain. Fate is only prediction, never perfectly accurate. Fate cannot read human hearts. He could not know for sure what you would decide.
Also, the Pochang Crystal is not of this world. The fate of this world cannot deduce its origin or purpose he can’t actually use the Pochang Crystal at all."
Lin Moyu said, "But he can see how extraordinary it is, and probably deduced it might matter to so he’s confident about negotiating."
Chaos Gem said, "Most likely."
Lin Moyu muttered, "Now I’m really curious about those two corpses he wants to bring back."
Chaos Gem said, "You’ll know when you get there. What place in this world is off limits to you?"
Lin Moyu chuckled. "Yeah, I’ll know once I go. Why overthink it?"
Thinking of all this, he felt things were becoming more and more interesting.
He summoned Xiao Peng again, changed direction, and flew towards the Eastern Extre’s center.
War now raged deep inside the Eastern Extre. Ancient Wild lifeforms were pouring in from all sides the locals couldn’t block every border and many invaders broke through.
On top of that, chaos blossod within, as local lifeforms started their own wars.
There were countless casualties the chaos within was far worse than Lin Moyu had expected.
Judging by the East, the other extres probably fared no better.
Under the effect of the calamity, no one was spared.
The Eastern Extre was vast. Even with Xiao Peng flying at full speed, it took years to reach the center.
On the way, countless battles graced his eyes; so many attacked Lin Moyu that the number killed by Xiao Peng alone ran into the tens of thousands.
Over a hundred full realm experts had already fallen to Lin Moyu’s hand.
Eventually, a glow of fla appeared it was the legendary Eastern Extre Fire Sea.
The West had Pure Lands, the East had the Fire Sea: the origin of the East, the source of its power.
Eastern lifeforms excelled at fire Daos, and had fierce tempers the roots of those traits lay here.
Just as he spotted the Fire Sea, space shattered ahead and a group of crystal bodied beings flew out.
"The Eastern Extre Dragon Pythons, what a coincidence."
Lin Moyu smiled he hadn’t expected to et them here.
When he first arrived in the East, he’d made his na fighting these very Dragon Pythons, using them to locate the shattered cross domain formation.
Back then, he’d killed one of their eight ancestors leaving seven.
Now, all seven had shown up together, leading their tribe into view.
If they weren’t specifically lying in wait for him, then fate was at play!
The Dragon Pythons erged, reeking of blood; so still bleeding from wounds, obviously fresh from battle.
They too had co for the Fire Sea. Any native approaching the Fire Sea could feel the primal power here, their wounds would heal faster.
But suddenly, their eyes all locked on Lin Moyu.
The brightest star in the night sky he drew every gaze.
Especially the seven ancestors to them, Lin Moyu was the treasure to achieving Sovereign status.
The mont they saw him, one thought dominated: kill Lin Moyu, beco Sovereign!
Swayed by the great calamity, their hearts quickly clouded as they lost all reason, their eyes turning blood red, and with dragon howls they charged Lin Moyu.
Space broke, and countless Dragon Pythons leapt through, harnessing the power of space to attack Lin Moyu.
"Kill them all!"
Lin Moyu sighed softly, giving his order to the hidden Shadow Bug Queen.
In an instant, dragon howls turned to screams.
While shifting through space but before attacking, the pythons were already being slaughtered in another layer of reality by the Shadow Bug Queen.
The Queen’s many legs swung like a thousand blades, cutting through ti and space, attacking the Dragon Pythons at countless temporal points.
Within re monts, thousands of Dragon Pythons including all seven ancestors were decapitated, their souls annihilated.
Their bodies tumbled back into normal space, dismbered, staining the void with blood and gore.
Riding Xiao Peng, Lin Moyu flew over their remains and straight toward the Fire Sea.
It was fate the Dragon Pythons would have lived had they not t Lin Moyu.
But in this calamity, they couldn’t escape destiny.
Thus, all karma between him and the Dragon Pythons was now severed.
Arriving at the Fire Sea, Lin Moyu felt the smothering heat it allowed no outsider entry.
Eastern natives could go in, as long as they didn’t venture too deep, to heal or cultivate.
But if Lin Moyu entered, the flas would attack him.
"Go back and rest, Xiao Peng. I’ll search for the portal myself now."
