Chapter 4642: Take a Good Look for
The sudden arrival of the world’s rules was beyond Lin Moyu’s expectations. He thought he wouldn’t be watched by those rules anymore, and neither would anything that belonged to him. It seed he had been too simplistic. The world’s rules were still covertly keeping an eye on him and waiting for chances to cause trouble.
The first ti was when they broke the space channel, causing him to fall into the Shadow Bug’s spatial rift.
That didn’t kill him instead, he got a great opportunity. This was the second ti: now that he was fusing a Shadow Bug Queen, the world’s rules sent thunder down, trying to stop its ergence. Maybe the Queen was too defiant, giving the rules a reason to intervene.
"Strange, isn’t it said that the world’s rules have no consciousness? Why do I feel like it’s got so wisdom?"
The rules acting twice now made Lin Moyu suspicious.
Previously, the world’s rules always felt normal to him whether seeing him as a calamity bearer, or being provoked bit by bit until he was labeled an enemy of the world, all of this fit his expectations. Everything seed to align with his understanding of the rules.
But its intervention in the rift defied expectations normally, the rules wouldn’t act directly, as they themselves must follow their own laws, just like all beings within the world. That first ti could be chalked up as an accident maybe Lin Moyu’s understanding had a slight error.
But this second ti, there was no excuse.
The ergence of the Shadow Bug Queen, at most just a step beyond Sovereign, shouldn’t draw down divine punishnt.
Lin Mohan had also surpassed Sovereign, and faced no such thunder.
Plus, Lin Moyu couldn’t see what benefit the rules would gain from killing him.
Even as an enemy, his fate was just another opportunity for others. If soone killed him and beca great, they’d gain sothing, but if the rules themselves killed him, what would they get out of it? Could the rules themselves even "achieve the Dao"?
The Shadow Bug Queen scread into the thunder, its cry slicing through ti, stretching unimaginable distances. Wherever that sound reached, even billions of miles away, living things were erased.

But it didn’t matter a Shadow Bug Queen is not a regular living being, but an undying spirit.
And undying spirits are notoriously hard to kill even if killed, they quickly revive.
Now Lin Moyu had a nearly unkillable, beyond Sovereign golden champion.
Even world rules, with all their thunder, could hardly destroy it.
After a while, Lin Moyu stopped watching and turned to Chaos Gem:
"I need your help with sothing."
Hearing this, Chaos Gem perked up. "Since Master is so sincere, I’ll give it my all."
"I suspect the world’s rules have consciousness. Take a good, close look for ."
Chaos Gem replied from instinct: "Impossible. The world’s rules can’t develop consciousness. The will of the world might exist, and even a domain could barely gain consciousness, but the world itself? Never seen it."
Lin Moyu answered: "Never seen it doesn’t an impossible, right? I hope I’m wrong, but check it out."
Chaos Gem gave a noncommittal grunt and peered into the distance.
No one knew what he saw, not even Lin Moyu, but he knew Chaos Gem saw things that no one else could.
Chaos Gem’s vision was on a higher level; he’d seen countless worlds rise and fall, witnessed the birth and death of Supres.
This ti he looked far more intently, missing no detail, his conjured body slowly rotating, turning again and again, over and over, brows sotis furrowing, hints of emotion flickering across his expression.
Lin Moyu saw these shifts and knew Chaos Gem must have uncovered sothing.
The thundering continued, the bolts falling thicker, so dense now it was like a torrential downpour, endless and relentless.
Lin Moyu too frowned sothing was off. The world’s rules seed dead set on killing the Queen, no matter the cost.
Thunder crashed down countless tis thousands? Tens of thousands? Way more, uncountable now.
The Shadow Bug Queen was riddled with wounds, every bolt inflicting so pain. A little pain at a ti, but the cumulative toll shocked even Lin Moyu.
Originally, Lin Moyu hadn’t wanted to get involved, but now he had to.
Though the Queen couldn’t truly die, it wasn’t yet fully ford; Lin Moyu couldn’t just let the world’s rules have their way.
With a flick, a current of Life Force shot out like a dragon, striking the Queen.
With the help of this Life Force, its wounds recovered instantly, far faster than the thunder could harm it.
Before long, it would be fully healed.
Thanks to his recent epiphany, Lin Moyu’s Undying Dao was now vastly more powerful, and so was his Life Force.
Suddenly the thunder boiled, the Life Force like a splash of cold water into hot oil, provoking a fierce response from the world’s rules.
The thunder grew even fiercer, as if determined to suppress Lin Moyu’s Life Force.
All at once, Chaos Gem shouted: "I see it!"
He pointed, releasing a brilliant light from the Balance Gem, enveloping both the thunder and the Queen.
In an instant, the thunder weakened, the Balance Gem tuning both the thunder and the Queen to equilibrium.
Now neither side could harm the other.
"Is this really possible?"
Lin Moyu was stunned. The Balance Gem was very strong, but to balance even the world’s rules was sothing else altogether.
Chaos Gem chuckled: "Normally, no. But right now, thanks to certain circumstances, yes."
"What circumstances?" Lin Moyu asked instinctively he was dying to know what could turn the impossible possible.
"I’ll explain in a mont," Chaos Gem answered.
With the Balance Gem’s help, the thunder beca ineffective, and the Shadow Bug Queen at last completed its final transformation.
At that exact instant, the thunder faded, leaving only a ruined void behind.
A massive insect, a hundred thousand ters long, appeared in the emptiness, with a hundred blade like feet.
Its huge body flickered between solid and illusory, half shrouded in a dreamlike haze.
It wore lustrous scales that shone with a multicolored, unnaable brilliance, beautiful beyond words.
The Queen was more stunning and powerful than Lin Moyu had ever imagined, its aura terrifying.
With a sweep of thought, he drew a flood of information from its mind.
As the strongest of the Shadow Bugs, the Queen now possessed the faintest spark of intelligence and could exchange rudintary ideas.
As Lin Moyu reviewed its abilities, his eyes grew brighter and brighter shining like the blazing sun.
