Chapter 4610: Tianyu Daoist
A crisp sword cry echoed across the heavens, and Lin Mohan raced after, sword in hand.
Once she’d made up her mind, Lin Mohan wouldn’t hesitate. Her sword path was always about advancing fearlessly no matter what or who blocked her way, she would strike.
Even if facing a forr Supre, her sword would not waver.
The undead minions opened a path through the throngs of monsters, reaching the center of the lake.
The Divine Lotus at the lake’s heart shuddered, seemingly sensing threat, humming loudly.
Huge waves rose in the lake, forming walls of water; on these walls appeared countless eyes, and from the walls erged fists, striking toward Lin Moyu.
The force behind these blows was imnse, sending monsters and undead flying; in terms of montum alone, it matched a Sovereign.
Sovereigns from Chaos Ancient Wilds couldn’t use their full power here. At best, they were just a bit stronger than peak Chaos Realm cultivators.
But this enemy’s punch truly seed to possess Sovereign might. Neither Lin Mohan nor Purple Star Sovereign could block it.
Lin Moyu, however, took it in stride. He swung the Calamity Scepter, which rapidly enlarged and smashed down.
The seemingly mighty fist instantly shattered, as frail as tofu.
Lin Mohan’s eyes shone. "The Calamity Scepter really is amazing."
Lin Moyu asked, "I’d like to ask you later how much you know about the Calamity Scepter."
Lin Mohan replied, "Nothing to ask about. It’s simple. The Calamity Scepter is powerful, but even Calamity Daoist couldn’t refine it when he got it he said it wasn’t ant to be his. Seems it was destined for you."
What Lin Moyu knew matched Lin Mohan’s account: Calamity Sovereign, upon gaining the Calamity Scepter, tried to refine it but failed.
After Destiny Sovereign’s divination, it was revealed Calamity Scepter was not ant for Calamity Sovereign, at least not then.
There was a rightful owner. Later, in battle with "Dao," the Scepter injured Dao and was itself shattered.
Yet in truth, the Scepter didn’t break from Dao’s strike it self destructed.
It was too strong for the world to bear, so it had to split itself to fit the realm.
Lin Moyu’s blow shattered the fist, then smashed the water walls as well, advancing toward the lotus.
He asked, "What was Calamity Sovereign’s na before he got the Calamity Scepter?"
His fa stemd from the Scepter, but before that his title was Tianyu.
Lin Mohan said, "He was called Tianyu Daoist."
Tianyu?
Lin Moyu instinctively asked, "Was he skilled in the Dao of Ti?"
In cultivation, "Yu" ans ti. If Calamity Sovereign took his Dao for his na, that made sense.
Lin Mohan answered, "Yes, he specialized in the Dao of Ti he also cultivated Space Dao, but less so."
"Looks like the small world was moved away by him," Lin Moyu concluded. The small world’s removal was marked by bursts of ti and space power.
The power spread across domains, finding the source continent inside, then linking the big world to the small.
He peeled the small world from the domain a process defying the Ancient Wilds’ laws, triggering backlash.
Calamity Sovereign had to hide from Dao, so he operated in secret, careful not to use overwhelming force.
Thus, the process of moving the small world was slow, only finishing after a long ti.
Now, the small world must be inside Calamity Sovereign’s own domain. Finding it would be exceedingly difficult.
But Calamity Sovereign hoping to use it to control Lin Moyu was wishful thinking.
The divine lotus at the lake’s heart vibrated more intensely. Several tis it ford into giant figures to block Lin Moyu, but each was smashed aside by the Calamity Scepter.
In monts, Lin Moyu and Lin Mohan reached its side. The lotus glowed, and a tiny figure took shape inside the light.
The figure, intricate and powerful, but its eyes seed to lack true spirit.
Lin Moyu said, "Good thing we got here early. If we’d co even a few centuries later, he’d be fully awake. It’s up to you now Sis, use your Dao heart as a sword and cleave him."
Lin Mohan frowned, "I can feel his strength it’s imnse."
Even at only a bit over twenty percent of his consciousness, it was that of a Supre far greater than any Sovereign.
Lin Moyu had claid ninety percent confidence, but now things looked tougher.
Lin Moyu replied, "No worries he won’t be stronger than you."
On the Calamity Scepter, Balance Gems shone, enveloping both the undead and the lotus.
Previously, only broad targeting was possible, but now Lin Moyu could select targets for perfect balance the Supre’s gathered consciousness was matched against tens of thousands of undead minions.
The undead surged in power, while the Supre’s aura dropped.
Although the overall soul strength stayed the sa, the power it could output was now completely suppressed less than Lin Mohan’s.
The undead, saturated with the Supre’s might, began to break and shatter, unable to withstand the force.
"Supre’s consciousness is truly overwhelming," Lin Moyu noted.
He summoned more undead to share the burden.
He said, "Sis, it’s your turn!"
Lin Mohan understood. She closed her eyes and sent her soul forth, transford into a sword, and struck the lotus.
"Impudence!"
Suddenly, an angry voice rang out from the void the Supre’s consciousness, under attack, reacted instinctively.
As master of this world, being attacked was intolerable.
His rebuke sounded as heavenly thunder, crashing down yet Lin Mohan’s soul sword never wavered, only growing fiercer and slashing downward.
Lin Moyu smiled; he knew Lin Mohan’s Dao heart would never falter before such a threat.
This was only the Supre’s fragnted mind; even at full strength, Lin Mohan would draw her sword.
Her soul sword, imbued with supre sword intent and unwavering Dao heart, struck the lotus again and again.
The lotus instantly flared with a world shaking light; beams transford into arrows, piercing the void.
Then, the lotus ignited with blazing fire, and Lin Mohan’s sword was also enveloped in soul fla.
This was a grueling contest Lin Mohan had to devour and assimilate the opponent, while the Supre strove instinctively to absorb Lin Mohan’s soul.
To possess Lin Mohan was his last shot; otherwise, all his effort would go to soone else.
As a forr Supre, his intent was just as steely as Lin Mohan’s, making the struggle fierce.
Success was far from guaranteed without Lin Moyu’s help, Lin Mohan couldn’t have even reached this point.
Now, Lin Moyu withdrew his aid, and her success rate dropped below ten percent.
Lin Moyu’s palm burst into fla, the Worldburning Fire gently falling onto the lotus. Instantly, screams echoed, and the entire realm shook violently.
