Chapter 4600: The Only aning of Heaven and Earth
The tiny dust fell upon Lin Moyu’s fingertip; naturally, he didn’t treat it as ordinary dust.
His keen soul imdiately felt sothing different: "Around it, ti is even more chaotic. Is this a Ti Essence Stone?"
He continued softly, "There’s another’s aura on it, very faint yet familiar it’s him!"
The Primal Chaos Stone clapped its little hands, "Correct, the Disaster Sovereign once obtained a Ti Essence Stone and crushed it into four pieces. This dust is a fragnt from that breakdown."
Lin Moyu knew the Disaster Scepter could trace back ti, not relying on the Dao a truly defiant ability.
Since the Stone spoke so authoritatively, he believed it.
"He obtained the Ti Essence Stone what will he do with it?" Lin Moyu frowned in thought.
The Stone said, "There’s plenty it can do: create avatars, kill across ti, retrieve things from particular temporal nodes."
He detailed several uses of the Ti Essence Stone, all common thods he’d seen in other worlds.
The Ti Essence Stone is one of the most heaven defying treasures using its temporal tracing power, one can find a suitable mont and bring objects and people from that mont into the present.
It is also possible to attack soone at a certain ti node, with the damage then reflected chronologically into the present.
For instance, the Disaster Sovereign could target himself in his weakest era and launch an attack, injuring or even killing his present self.
He could also retrieve himself from a different ti, creating duplicates.
The Stone mused, "Only, I don’t quite get it; the bigger the stone, the greater its effect splitting one stone into four would drastically reduce its power."
Lin Moyu’s thoughts flashed, "I think I understand now.
So questions I couldn’t answer before make sense now why Disaster Sovereign carried off the world of my birth. There, my mark exists, and he can use it to trace at my weakest and strike at then, injuring my current self."
Lin Moyu understood that once he grew powerful, he’d try to reclaim the small world, so Disaster Sovereign moved first.
Holding that world gave him a trump card.
Recalling the events inside the small world, acquiring the Disaster Scepter seed coincidental but must have been arranged by Disaster Sovereign.
Disaster Sovereign set the board, making Lin Moyu the central piece.
But why choose Lin Moyu? Rembering things Disaster Sovereign had said, and the cycle by cycle domain evolutions in the heavenly void, it was as if Disaster Sovereign had always awaited him.
Only Disaster Sovereign knows the answer. Or perhaps not!
Lin Moyu realized his idea was wrong there was one other who knew: his elder sister Lin Mohan, once Great Sword Sovereign and the strongest among the prospective Sovereigns.
Her becoming his sister was no coincidence, but fate.
The Stone said, "Using a fragnt of the Ti Essence Stone is more than enough to trace a world’s ti. What else have you realized?"
Lin Moyu replied, "How Disaster Sovereign survived under the Dao’s nose by bringing a version of himself from another ti point."
"The one who died was not his present self, but the self from a certain past node.
He really did die, which convinced the ’Dao’, making his sche succeed."
The Stone said, "Now that you ntion it, I recall another use if paired with Essence of Heaven and Earth, one can break the Sovereign boundary in a special way."
The Stone then explained:
Essence of Heaven and Earth is ford when the first trace of primordial qi rges with the first heaven earth origin material during the universe’s creation.
The primordial qi and the initial material are the purest of their kind; rged, they beco Essence of Heaven and Earth, which can fuse anything.
With a Ti Essence Stone, you can retrieve yourself from a past node, then use Essence of Heaven and Earth to fuse both versions together.
Though you won’t double your power, you’ll at least increase strength by fifty percent.
Disaster Sovereign, already a top Sovereign, could boost his power by another fifty percent, and repeating the process might allow him to break the boundary.
Fusing with other Sovereigns risks conflict different Daos and wills clash.
But fusing with yourself poses no issue, and Essence of Heaven and Earth can be reused, as long as you have enough Ti Essence Stone, so one can keep fusing with past selves.
That explains why he divided the stone into four; likely that’s the limit, though he’d make more if he could.
Lin Moyu remarked, "So that’s the whole reason. Disaster Sovereign probably used this thod to break the Sovereign boundary and reach his current level."
He wanted to define Disaster Sovereign’s level, initially calling them half step Supres, but the Stone disagreed.
A half step Supre should be at least halfway there, but these individuals were failures.
If they couldn’t truly attain Supre during the coming calamity, they’d all die.
"That’s why he could break through outside a great calamity, but such breakthroughs are bound to fail becoming Supre isn’t so easy."
Lin Moyu asked, "Is it possible to beco Supre outside a calamity period?"
"Possible, but chances are nearly nil. Such a person would be outstanding even among Supres.
Disaster Sovereign clearly isn’t one of them; he found a thod to breakthrough but didn’t truly succeed, sa as the Dao."
Lin Moyu said, "The Dao is awaiting the great calamity. Disaster Sovereign built a plot to kill the Dao and also awaits the calamity. There’s also another hidden figure, waiting for the calamity as well."
"This world is getting lively how many lives and domains will perish in the disaster?"
The Stone answered, "In truth, the only purpose of the world is to nurture Supres. Other beings are just necessary discards; their lives and deaths don’t matter."
The world has no emotion and doesn’t care about the fate of beings.
Only the rules matter the rules exist to foster Supres. That is the only aning of heaven and earth’s existence.
Lin Moyu sighed, "Let’s go, ti to pick people up!"
