By constantly being reborn using the destructive power of the Life Restricted Zone, Lin Moyu seed to be gradually assimilating that power.
His physical and soul strength increased, though most of this improvent only showed inside the Life Restricted Zone and a little at the depths of the Wilderness. If he returned to Chaos, the rules there would suppress him.
But Lin Moyu’s true goal wasn’t just adapting to the Life Restricted Zone he wanted a breakthrough from the very root.
Adapting to the Zone was a lucky side benefit, useful for future ventures.
Unknowingly, Lin Moyu was laying unprecedented groundwork no one had ever done this before.
After dying three thousand tis and enhancing both body and soul by thirty percent, Lin Moyu’s death rate slowed, and, during rebirth, his consciousness briefly returned.
Even the briefest mont of consciousness let him detect his own changes.
Each death gave him a split second to sense new shifts.
"Strange, why no breakthrough yet?"
With repeated awareness, Lin Moyu noticed he was thirty percent stronger, but hadn’t broken through though he could not answer his own question.
That instant of awareness was all he could manage; anything more, like speaking or controlling his body, was very far off.
Even a single thought took multiple rebirths to complete.
The Primal Chaos Stone didn’t know Lin Moyu’s inner turmoil and just stared "Thirty percent already. This is really the limit: now, a breakthrough must co. Only through breakthrough can you continue."
Even in the Life Restricted Zone, with its higher limits, the current enhancent should be the ceiling.
In recent hundreds of deaths and rebirths, Lin Moyu stopped growing stronger.
Within his shattered remains, an invisible power was gathering, waiting for a great explosion.
The Primal Chaos Stone judged accurately: Lin Moyu’s body and soul really were stockpiling energy for a powerful surge preparing to smash through the rules of heaven and earth; to break out of Chaos into Sovereign.
The rules of heaven and earth are strict and formidable smashing them is no easy feat, but Lin Moyu’s persistence was going to win out.
"No rule is unbreakable" this was the Primal Chaos Stone’s conclusion drawn from countless years.
Inside and outside of heaven and earth, anything could happen!
Yet Lin Moyu was unaware of his own transformation only his feeble sense returned occasionally, after which nothing.
Rebirth continued again and again. After the three thousandth death, energy gathered, and, on the five thousandth rebirth, it burst out completely.
Imnse power exploded like stars, dazzling all; every fragnt glowed.
The Primordial Vortex filled with inexpressible terror even the power of the Life Restricted Zone shrank back.
It wasn’t that the Zone’s power was weak but that Lin Moyu now adapted to a thread of it.
As he broke through, its power was naturally pushed aside.
Lin Moyu was reborn amid purple light, and the Zone’s energy struck his body without deadly harm.
Body and soul erupted forth with staggering might like a transcendent god’s descent.
In the deepest Wilderness, near the core, within the Vortex, a powerful cultivator ascended to double Sovereign, both body and soul.
This was unprecedented.
Lin Moyu’s aura spread fast, sensed by countless beings but none approached.
The Vortex instinctively inspired dread, and Lin Moyu’s aura now contained both the rules of heaven and earth and a trace of the abyssal Wilderness.
Within his strength, there even existed a remnant of the Life Restricted Zone.
The Primal Chaos Stone marvelled: "It’s possible the Zone’s power can be fused!"
"If he re entered Chaos now, he could really battle a Sovereign."
Lin Moyu’s breakthrough completed; a tide of energy flowed inside him, and, needing release, he casually punched out.
Boom!
The Primordial Vortex shattered instantly a single punch broke it.
The vortex’s link with the Life Restricted Zone was severed, and even Lin Moyu’s formation was destroyed.
The Primal Chaos Stone, riding the Disaster Scepter, zipped over: "Master, are you alright?"
He already knew Lin Moyu was fine it was just concern, a casual question.
Lin Moyu checked himself, feeling endless joy he’d finally arrived.
He shook his head: "I’m fine, let’s find another vortex."
The smallest vortex was now gone, but Lin Moyu’s limit hadn’t been reached he had to keep seeking new ones and continue his death defying quest.
He’d died only five thousand tis; with a goal of tens of thousands, he’d only finished less than a fifth.
The Primal Chaos Stone had already started searching, this ti with Lin Moyu joining in.
Now that Lin Moyu’s body and soul both reached Sovereign level, he didn’t have to be so cautious.
As long as the vortex wasn’t too big, he could handle either push or pull with ease.
Breakthrough made a huge difference at least ten tis stronger by his reckoning.
A tenfold power gap let him ignore all entities in Chaos, even so called ’peak cultivators’ one punch could destroy them.
Top cultivators might take a few more punches, but that’s all.
Quickly, the Primal Chaos Stone located a suitable vortex; Lin Moyu almost simultaneously did so, and they’d picked the sa one.
This vortex was about a hundred ters in diater ten tis bigger than before, many tis the mass.
Inside, the power was fiercer, especially in the core, where the Zone’s energy was thicker.
Lin Moyu zipped straight over no longer needing prior caution.
He ascended here in the ancient Wilderness; body and soul now adjusted, and it felt like swimming at ease.
The vortex’s power pressed in, but unless it was too imnse, he could cope easily.
Effortlessly reaching the chosen vortex, Lin Moyu ditated briefly, then began constructing a formation to protect his fragnted self for extra safety.
Once ready, the Primal Chaos Stone conscientiously brought the Disaster Scepter and entered as the formation’s pivot.
The formation settled inside the vortex, stabilizing quickly; the Balance Gem glead, perfectly synchronizing the forces of formation and vortex.
Lin Moyu flew in next, descending to the deepest part eting the destructive power of the Zone itself.
Here, the Zone’s energy took on a foggy form, thicker and more dangerous than the last vortex.
"The second death trial begins. Let’s see how it goes!"
"Hope it won’t disappoint !"
With no joy or sadness, Lin Moyu entered the mist, and not a tenth of a breath later, was again ground to dust.
