Chapter 4556: Sche Within a Sche
All along, no one had ever been able to pierce the concealnt of the Hidden Spirit Pearl. When he tested it before, not even Golden Supre could see through it, but now Calamity Supre’s lingering will had managed to detect him.
Even though this was the core of Calamity Supre’s formation, Lin Moyu’s understanding of arrays told him this shouldn’t be possible.
Lin Moyu noticed so clues, leading him to several suspicions.
He withdrew the Hidden Spirit Pearl and asked, "Is there sothing you want to tell ?"
Sensing Lin Moyu’s aura, the statue of Calamity Supre slowly turned away and replied, "No. You already know everything. I have nothing more to say."
As he finished speaking, the void began to twist and a spaceti tunnel started to manifest.
Lin Moyu smiled, "Even if you have nothing to say, I still have questions."
The twisting void ca to a halt. Calamity Supre asked in a low voice, "What do you want to ask?"
He remained with his back to Lin Moyu, as though ready to leave at any ti.
For so reason, Lin Moyu sensed that Calamity Supre had so urgent matter and was only lingering for Lin Moyu’s sake. Now that Lin Moyu had arrived, he was ready to go.
Hiding his odd feeling, Lin Moyu maintained his calm. "Your will should be concentrated in the Primal Wilderness, right?"
"Mhm." Calamity Supre did not hide this, only making a quiet noise in reply.
Lin Moyu said, "In the very depths of the Primal Wilderness..."
He paused here, clearly noticing so tiny fluctuation in the will within the statue.
He hid it well only Lin Moyu sensed it, not Little Tree or Chaos Child.
Lin Moyu continued, "Sothing from the depths of the Primal Wilderness has erged and is heading for the chaos. You can sense that, can’t you?"
After a few breaths, Calamity Supre gave another "mhm," and Lin Moyu heard a trace of relief in his tone.
Lin Moyu pressed on. "Do you know what that thing is?"
"I don’t."
"Do you know what it will bring?"
"I don’t."
"Do you know its exact location?"
"I don’t."
The answers were all the sa: "I don’t know."
Lin Moyu sighed, "Alright, then go. I have nothing more."
"Fine." The void split open, a spaceti channel appeared, and he seed to burrow inside.
Once he left, Lin Moyu began refining the grand array as the Hidden Spirit Pearl’s power enveloped the soul world.
His soul glowed faintly, thoughtful this Calamity Supre seed different from before.
What tipped him off was Calamity Supre seeing through the Hidden Spirit Pearl.
Even within his own domain and from close range, Calamity Supre’s lingering will should not outmatch Golden Supre.
If even Golden Supre couldn’t see through the pearl, how did he?
If he had stood before the "Dao" and was discovered, that would make sense. But this wasn’t the Dao; it was rely the will Calamity Supre left behind. Such an anomaly made it hard not to suspect Calamity Supre’s cultivation had surpassed the Supre level.
According to what Lin Moyu knew, Calamity Supre had fallen, leaving only a grand plan and so fragnts of will.
But did he truly perish?
Lin Moyu had never fully believed that. Calamity Supre appeared to enter the ga with his life, but could there be a sche beyond the sche?
How could he be so confident his plan, spun over countless years, would succeed just because of trust in his companions?
Lin Moyu did not think Calamity Supre was this kind of person. They shared one trait: greater faith in themselves than in others not out of distrust, but a tendency to do crucial things themselves.
So in that mont, a suspicion was born: Calamity Supre’s sche might be even deeper he might not have died at all.
But the Dao did indeed slay him. Faking his own death to deceive the Dao would be extrely difficult unless he possessed so treasure, or found a place beyond the Dao’s perception.
Right now, only the very depths of the Primal Wilderness seed likely to fit that description.
So when he deliberately ntioned the depths of the Primal Wilderness, Calamity Supre’s reaction confird the abnormality.
"Before, his scattered wills weren’t connected each fragnt unaware of the whole. He even hid himself from himself."
"Now with the wills rging, he’s revealed so subtle flaws."
Lin Moyu could not be absolutely certain, but he was over 70% confident in his judgnt.
"Calamity Supre likely did not truly fall. Not only is he alive, but perhaps he has already broken through the Supre boundary "
"No, he must have already reached a level equal to the Dao itself."
"All of this very likely relates to the Primal Wilderness’s depths. There, he encountered the Primordial Qi of Heaven and Earth, and from it gained leftover First Qi."
"His sche targets not just the Dao, but all of the chaotic wilderness."
The more Lin Moyu thought, the more plausible it seed. Calamity Supre’s machinations surpassed his imagination. Perhaps even he and the other elders were being manipulated all along.
After gathering his thoughts, Lin Moyu summoned the Primal Jewel, Little Tree, Chaos Child, and Xiao Peng to discuss it.
He was reasonably confident, but pooling ideas might yield even better answers.
Little Tree and the rest listened and agreed with Lin Moyu’s reasoning though, in comparison to Calamity Supre’s planning, they all felt like children.
How could one man imagine so far ahead?
The Primal Jewel yawned. "What’s the use in guessing? One day you’ll see for yourself at the Origin Core of Heaven and Earth."
Lin Moyu asked, "What is the Origin Core of Heaven and Earth?"
The Primal Jewel replied, "It’s actually the depths of the Primal Wilderness itself. Every world has an origin core the source of everything. This world’s origin is that place."
17
"What you said isn’t wrong the origin core indeed contains mysterious possibilities, but it’s also very dangerous. Most who go never return."
Lin Moyu asked, "What exactly is in there?"
The Primal Jewel said, "I’m too lazy to describe it, and anyway I couldn’t clarify it. See for yourself soday."
Lin Moyu understood if even the Primal Jewel couldn’t say, it must truly be beyond description.
Origin core, the Primal Wilderness’s depths the origin of this world.
After hearing from the Primal Jewel, Lin Moyu believed his theory was even more likely:
Calamity Supre may have hidden there, feigned death, and gained a fortuitous encounter, then broke through the Supre boundary.
It would have been fraught with peril, but knowing Calamity Supre’s nature, he would do it.
To reach his goal, he didn’t shrink from danger.
Now, after all these years, Lin Moyu had appeared, the great ga was unfolding, and Calamity Supre’s wills converged.
Softly, Lin Moyu murmured, "The chaotic wilderness is truly about to fall into chaos!"
