Chapter 4542: Insect Insect Tunnel

The information Zhulong provided seed insignificant, but to Lin Moyu, it was extrely important.

He now knew more about his wives’ situation they should have beco disciples of the green robed old man’s Dao partner. He rembered hearing this Dao partner’s voice before; her manner was domineering.

In the chaos, only soone with true strength can be overbearing. She must be strong likely, she was also a Supre.

This ant the green robed old man’s side now had four Supres, taking up half that circle.

The other four likely ca from the Four Extres, and even if they weren’t aligned with the first group, they weren’t all enemies so were probably neutral.

Besides the Supres, there were many quasi Supres. Lin Moyu felt confident that the green robed old man’s faction was also strong in that regard.

With such an alliance, the Calamity Supre’s plans could proceed smoothly everything depends on power.

The most crucial thing in Zhulong’s account was what the green robed old man’s Dao partner was doing.

She was engaged in sothing extrely important, though Zhulong didn’t know what.

She’d once remarked her great formation still lacked people obviously, such an array was for sothing truly necessary. If so, hopefully there would be no danger for Lin Moyu’s wives.

If sothing did happen to them...

The very thought caused a surge of killing intent to rise from Lin Moyu.

Over the years, his murderous aura had grown so cold it could chill the heart.

Zhulong called out, "Hey, what were you thinking just now?"

Lin Moyu instantly hid his killing intent. "Nothing. This fight is basically over where are you off to next?"

Zhulong replied, "I belong to the Central Domain Divine Alliance. This big battle is just one tiny part of the overall war. I have to return to the base and wait for the next action. What about you?"

Since Xiaopeng’s appearance, the battle ended early. Most of the Southern Pole’s powerhouses had been slaughtered by Xiaopeng.

Many in the Central Domain Alliance were now without opponents the fight was finished.

It was like a tiger suddenly joining a flock of sheep, and that tiger was friends with one flock. The outco was clear.

Lin Moyu said, "Coming to the Southern Pole was an accident for . I have sothing else to do here. Is your Alliance stronghold far from the inter domain formation?"

Zhulong replied, "Not close. The big array’s location is top secret. We co by special artifact, and after arriving in the Southern Pole, we’re far from the array."

Lin Moyu understood this was for safety. "Alright then, I’ll go do my business first."

Zhulong replied, "Be careful, so old monsters in the South Pole have awakened. If you go deep, you might run into them."

Lin Moyu said, "No problem unless a Supre acts, I’ll be fine."

Zhulong warned, "Also, the Southern Pole’s Supre doesn’t get along with my master. If he does attack..."

Lin Moyu laughed, "I’ll cry for help. Let’s see if anyone cos to save ."

Zhulong found that amusing. "So joke. Really not funny."

Lin Moyu waved at Xiaopeng, who darted to his feet.

"Let’s go!"

Turning into golden light, Xiaopeng shot off; Zhulong glanced around at the carnage bodies everywhere.

Most slain here were at early Chaos Realm, so were half step Chaos Realm, and a few at late Chaos Realm none could withstand Xiaopeng.

Zhulong called out, "Clean up the battlefield. We’re leaving."

...

Golden light left a long trail, streaking across Southern Pole’s empty space.

Southern Pole’s environnt wasn’t like the East’s heat, the West’s cold, or the North’s freezing chill.

Of the Four Extres, the South was the most balanced and moderate.

Near its eastern edge it was a bit warr those regions were dominated by fire path beings.

Near the western edge it was colder water path beings prevailed.

Where Lin Moyu was now, near the Central Domain, it was evenly mixed, similar to the Central Domain itself.

Each region fit a different Dao. On the surface, that was Southern Pole’s character.

But look deeper and you’d see the real Southern Pole was actually at its southern tip, next to the Ancient Wilderness.

That was the true, primordial South unaffected by the other Extres, preserving all its native features.

Lin Moyu thought of the South as having gathered all its essence in that one region, which was the gathering place of the South’s most primal beings.

The beings that fought Zhulong earlier weren’t genuine Southern Pole natives they’d all been influenced by other Extres in one way or another.

To real Southern Pole natives, such beings were just cannon fodder.

The true natives fell into two categories. First were the Insect Race a vast group of various insect creatures, held in much higher regard than others here.

The other were the Spirit Bug People, masters of the South, equivalent to how humans ruled the Central Domain.

Spirit Bug People were a special race a mix of human bloodline with all sorts of insects.

They were half human, half insect, born with human form and, like humans with a natural Dao body, had amazing cultivation speed and limitless potential, unshackled by bloodline.

Because of their insect blood, they weren’t innately weak like humans.

Many Spirit Bug People were born strong, with powerful cultivation, saving thousands or even tens of thousands of years compared to humans.

Most importantly, they were extrely intelligent. Depending on their bloodlines, so could even control insect beasts.

Surrounding them, masses of bugs gathered making them the South’s mightiest force. Spirit Bug People were the true rulers here.

Lin Moyu’s goal was to go to the South’s furthest tip, near the Ancient Wilderness.

He sensed that the Calamity Supre placed a formation there.

He’d read Mu Tianze’s reports before those included notes about the Southern Pole.

The South had a monunt that served as the origin of all insect life in the region, possessing magical power that could birth new creatures.

Lin Moyu guessed the Calamity Supre’s formation was set by this Insect Stele. Every formation needed to absorb so special type of power the Stele was probably its target.

But the Stele was vital how could the South’s Supre allow the Calamity Supre to siphon its power? No matter how strong, a formation was just a formation. The South’s Supre could have easily shattered it.

Yet, the Calamity Supre’s array still stood after so many years why? There must be so reason.

Many mysteries, all demanding a personal visit to unravel.

There were no teleportation arrays in the South. Flying from one end to the other even with Xiaopeng’s speed would take at least a thousand years.

However, the South did have insect tunnels, similar to teleportation arrays in effect.

These tunnels were ford from the corpses of Space Bugs. Once a Space Bug died, by placing its head and tail in two places, a wormhole would form between them after a while.

Passing through a wormhole let you cross enormous distances in a flash. This was the South’s thod for fast travel on par with teleportation arrays.

Little Tree quickly found one such wormhole. Once they were sure of the direction, Xiaopeng shot toward it at full speed.
