Chapter 4529: The Unbreakable Wall
There was a continuous sound of pounding, but this completely transparent, invisible wall of unknown thickness did not react at all under Lin Moyu’s frenzied attacks.
After a while, Lin Moyu had no choice but to give up it simply could not be broken, no matter how hard he punched.
Little Tree and Chaos Spirit both tried various thods as well, to the sa effect.
Lin Moyu also used the World Annihilating Fire and other ans, but still failed to break through this invisible wall.
The wall was impervious, standing firm and refusing entry to anyone.
With all other thods failing, Lin Moyu had to try his two trump cards: the Causal Ring and the Calamity Scepter.
He infused his soul power into the Causal Ring: "If there’s effect without cause, I want to break through this wall."
The Causal Ring shone, but there was no backlash after a mont, its glow faded away as if nothing had happened.
Lin Moyu realized he had "planted" a fruit for nothing the Causal Ring had failed, sothing that had never happened before.
He had always assud even if it cost hundreds or thousands of deaths, he would ultimately succeed and use the opportunity to strengthen his own body and soul.
He had never thought actual failure was possible.
This ant the wall’s existence was independent of causality.
Once more, he surged his soul power, this ti planting a "fruit" to obtain the nearest Heaven Red Stone.
But after glowing for a dozen seconds, the ring dimd again a second failure.
Amazed and shocked, Lin Moyu examined the Causal Ring and found that even it was impacted in this place, unable to use its full strength.
The Ring’s power ca from chaos’s Causal Dao, but as its main body surpassed the Causal Dao, it could enact miracles in chaos.
Here, outside of chaos, its influence was severely diminished.
Lin Moyu reasoned, "Maybe the ring’s true body was originally from here."
Looking at the ring, he thought it quite likely.
But after leaving here, it had been transford by the chaos, just like the ice crystal, and so its connection to this place was weak.
With the Causal Ring useless, only the Calamity Scepter was left.
The Calamity Scepter was extraordinarily tough, effective for breaking anything physical or spiritual.
Yet Lin Moyu still wasn’t confident he could only give it a try.
He raised the Calamity Scepter and struck down hard.
Boom!
With an imnse noise, the invisible wall suddenly beca visible, and a trendous force rebounded through the scepter, sending Lin Moyu flying.
Cracks covered his hand, and then the flesh burst apart, his bones shattering to bits.
The recoil shattered his hand, spreading up his arm, then destroyed half his body flesh and blood flying everywhere.
But for Lin Moyu, this was trivial he had been smashed to bits countless tis; losing half his body was nothing special.
He willed the Undying Fire to blaze, golden radiance surged, and his fragnted flesh flew back to him, rapidly rebuilding his body.
With a gesture, the Calamity Scepter flew back to his hand: "Even my body couldn’t withstand the rebound; this force is unusual."
Looking at the invisible wall: under the scepter’s blow, it briefly beca visible like a crystal, thin as a mbrane, a gigantic sphere guarding the area, unbreakable.
But even the Calamity Scepter had left it unhard.
The wall vanished again, invisible but untouchable.
He could accept the Causal Ring’s failure, but that the Calamity Scepter also failed was hard to stomach.
In Calamity Supre’s description, the Scepter was fifth tier power among the highest in all the Desolate Chaos.
Lin Moyu had once thought that if the ice crystal couldn’t open the gate, he’d smash his way in with the Scepter.
Now he realized he’d been wrong he’d underestimated this place’s mystery; the crystal like wall here could not be broken even with the scepter.
Furthermore, most of the power he unleashed had rebounded through the scepter, causing him to lose half his body.
He returned before the wall and knocked it lightly with the scepter this ti, using no force, making a clear, crisp sound.
With each tap, Lin Moyu felt the feedback recoil through the scepter: at least ninety percent of his strength was returned each ti.
Gradually, he increased the force, up to his limit no effect, and the wall didn’t even appear any longer.
He realized only when enough force was used did the wall display itself, but it still couldn’t be broken.
Suddenly, an annoyed voice ca from the scepter:
"Stop knocking, it’s annoying! Can’t you let soone sleep?"
The central Primal Gem glimred the voice was coming from it.
Each of the five gems had so consciousness, but only this last Primal Gem could speak.
Lin Moyu said, "I’m conducting an experint didn’t expect there’d be anything you can’t break."
The Primal Gem retorted, "You’re useless don’t bla ."
Lin Moyu replied, "How am I useless? I just smashed it with all my strength, but it didn’t break. I’ll try again to prove it."
The Primal Gem snorted, "No need to try, this is the Wall of Heaven and Earth. At your current level, breaking it is a pipe dream."
Lin Moyu asked, "What is the Wall of Heaven and Earth? How strong do I have to be to smash it?"
The Primal Gem said, "When you surpass the Supre level, then you can break it. And why break it anyway? Did it offend you?"
Lin Moyu said, "It didn’t, I just want what’s inside."
The Primal Gem gave a sly chuckle, "People die for wealth and birds for food why are you so desperate?"
Lin Moyu pressed, "Be clear for once."
The Primal Gem said, "If you want to know what’s behind the Wall, just rember: the instant you smash it, you will die. I won’t bother explaining further just know, right now you’re not qualified, nor do you deserve what’s inside."
Lin Moyu believed the Primal Gem, even if its speech was unpleasant it never lied.
He thought for a mont.
"A long ti ago, many things erged from inside to enter chaos how do you explain that?"
The Primal Gem replied, "That’s simple: then was then, now is now. Back then, Heaven and Earth wanted to birth new beings, so it spit out all the primordial treasures from inside. Now, with no new beings to birth, it doesn’t release anything."
Lin Moyu asked, "But what if Heaven and Earth need to nurture life again?"
