Chapter 4459: Being Able to Give Birth Is the Strongest Ability
Timidity is the nature of the Silverlight Rabbits, unrelated to realm. Frightened by Lin Moyu especially with Su Changqing nearby Yin Da had no real ability to refuse.
He could only lead the way. Producing a soft blanket, he caused it to grow, thickening until it beca a whole grassy field.
The gathered Silverlight Rabbits were summoned and burrowed into the field, which was riddled with interconnected tunnels, just perfect for them to hide in.
"Interesting."
Lin Moyu found it amusing every race had its traits, and here the blanket, clearly a treasure, could beco a living field and ho to so many rabbits.
Yin Da controlled the field as it flew swiftly toward their territory.
Lin Moyu saw that, as they traveled, the field manifested illusions at a distance copies of itself, visually and in aura, that flew off in all directions.
Multiple illusions continued to multiply en route. If one lost track of Yin Da himself, they’d likely tail after the wrong field and lose him completely.
"A rabbit has three burrows," Lin Moyu thought, and Yin Da’s thods seed to involve several hundred.
For the timid race, every trick was about survival.
He asked, "Have you ever thought of becoming stronger?"
Yin Da hesitated, glancing at Su Changqing afraid to answer.
Lin Moyu, understanding his concern, waved away Su Changqing. "Go on, you can speak now."
Yin Da stared in surprise he couldn’t imagine where Su Changqing had gone.
"Don’t ask questions you shouldn’t," Lin Moyu said coldly. "Keep talking."
Yin Da shivered, "Understood. We do want to be strong, and we’ve tried. But it’s hard really hard. We’ve even gotten a few powerful combat techniques and tried to blend them into our bloodline, but it never sticks. With us, even the best skill loses two thirds of its might or more. We tried everything but couldn’t make it work. Eventually we just had to accept that fighting wasn’t our path."
"Luckily, we cultivate quickly our ranks grow fast. That’s our advantage."
Lin Moyu grinned, "Your advantage is being able to reproduce, right?"
Yin Da, utterly unashad, replied, "Exactly!"
Reproduction was the greatest asset of the Silverlight Rabbits a litter of hundreds, several tis a year.
Their numbers multiplied exponentially; unchecked, their population would surge by a thousandfold in just a year.
Lin Moyu thought: being able to reproduce truly was their greatest strength if given ti, they could fill chaos itself.
But chaos’s rules being what they are, a race given such powers would also be given a counterbalance: for every gain, a loss.
Sheer lack of fighting power surely wasn’t the only weakness; there had to be more.
He asked, "With so much birthing, you must face so drawbacks?"
Yin Da shook his head, "What issues could there be?"
Lin Moyu could tell he didn’t understand, and doubted the elders did either.
After flying for many days, they reached the Silverlight Rabbits’ territory a piece of world peeled from their original domain, now grown into a giant continent in chaos.
The whole place looked like a rabbit shaped landmass, covered in grass (so tall as trees), full of burrows rather than houses.
Though unfortified on the surface, Lin Moyu detected faint arrays clear signs of fox clan surveillance and apparent protection.
Were it not for Yin Da leading the way, the foxes would have surely blocked them.
Yin Da asked, "What is this deal of yours?"
Lin Moyu replied, "It’s sothing to discuss with your Perfection elders, not you."
Yin Da muttered, "All right then I’ll take you to them."
The field descended, the rabbits scattered to their hos.
Their ancestral land was called the Azure Silver Grassland their ho for generations.
Yin Da led Lin Moyu through a winding tunnel into a large chamber several hundred ters high, with four giant rabbits in each corner, seemingly asleep but in fact overseeing subtle secret arrays that drew off their energy.
The rabbits’ efforts at subtle resistance were not lost on Lin Moyu though he knew they’d never succeed.
After all, the foxes were just the jailers; the true master behind the scenes was their Ancestor, who would never release his grip. No matter how they struggled, it would be futile.
As soon as Lin Moyu appeared, the four elders woke, eight huge eyes gazing at him.
"Human Minor Completion Realm."
At his level, they weren’t worried what real threat was a young cultivator? But when they saw Ye Yangyan concealed aura, unreadable power their confidence flickered.
Timidity drives suspicion; unable to gauge their guests, they hesitated.
Yin Da bowed, "Elders, this is Lin he wants to discuss a deal, but says it must be with you all."
All four were Perfection stage, the clan’s strongest, known by order of age, and always made decisions together.
Lin Moyu traced light with his fingers, conjuring several chaos runes that ford a simple formation, enveloping the chamber in soft glow.
All five rabbits, including Yin Da, grew tense.
He said, "No need to worry, this formation only blocks outside listeners so we can speak freely."
With these words, they relaxed a little.
The eldest elder asked, "So, Lin, what is this deal you want?"
Lin Moyu smiled, "Simple. I’d like to pack you all up and take you sowhere new."
